Farmington Hills Inn

The community was very good, but the staff could have been more compassionate. the one issue we had is they would not send her meds through medicare they had their own pharmacy. I would recommend this facility to others.

This community was a good facility and my uncle enjoyed it there. When covid started I think they could have used more personal protective wear. I would definitely recommend this community to others.

My visit went very well today. The staff and residents were enjoyable to meet.

Took a tour with [name removed] and was very impressed with what I saw. Everyone very friendly and director greeted each resident by name. It is an older facility but kept up well. Rates are very reasonable. We will be looking into possible placement for my mother.

This was a nice facility, all staff was friendly. Place was clean and didn't smell. I was just a little down after viewing the memory care area. The staff dealt with the patient's in a very loving and caring way.

Loved one likes living at the arbor inn

My sister toured the Arbor Inn while we were looking for a facility that had a flexible smoking policy, to accommodate our mother's 80-year smoking habit. In that respect, the Arbor Inn did not fail to meet our needs. The rooms are a bit small, but then the price is quite a bit less than the larger, newer establishments. And it seemed like everyone genuinely knew each other and were exceptionally friendly. If you're looking for more of a studio setup at a relatively inexpensive price, it's well worth taking a tour of this facility. Full disclosure: We did not select Arbor Inn because our mother's needs changed. But it was near the top of our list prior to that.

This looked like a nice clean community when I visited. I liked the people I met while I was there. This did seem like an active community. If this community was closer I would have chosen this community.

Staff is ready to help and food is good.

The staff is very knowledgeable. [Removed] took time to show me around and answer my questions. The residents look happy and well cared for. The days are filled with activities. Some rooms have sliders with small patios opening to a courtyard within the facility. This community is cost effective while still being desirable to have your loved one cared for.

I have no complaints about the tour I had taken of this community for my loved one. The staff where friendly and made sure to give my loved one and a detailed look at everything they had to offer. They had a nice open floor plan with wide hallways that was easy to navigate through. Overall great experience it was just not the right fit for my loved one in the end decision.

I had a nice tour of this community. The staff I met was friendly, and polite. From what I saw the community looked clean, and everything looked well maintained. This community had more of an institutional feel to it, and I knew that wasn't going to work for my mother. Overall my tour went well.

The place itself is a four. My mother's experience hasn't been very good so it's difficult to score them.She's not a big fan of the food right now.Their kitchen is closed and they are using a catering service. It's an older building and it could use some updating.My mother says it's "gloomy" probably because of the florescent lights. I would say it's a higher level of care, close to a nursing home.

I'am satisfied with my mother's move to this community. She is doing well, and has adjusted well to this community. They have a very good staff here, they have been good to work with. The community is well-kept. Her room, and the facility are well maintained when I visit. Overall all is well, and this is a community I would recommend.

When I met with the business people and had a tour I felt that the care, staff and cleanliness was good. I just liked the other people that I met on my other tours. This could be for another family.

The staff at the Farmington Hills is very nice and accommodating. The price for this place was right, very reasonable. The proximity to myself and family was the biggest factor in our decision. The community is close by. The only thing I would like to see change is I would like to see a social worker or psychologist available to the residents, my mother has been suffering from some depression and I'm sure it would be useful for all of the residents.

I think is is very fine with acceptable level of care. The up keep the facility very good, clean, and it is nicely decorated. They have a beauty shop and my mom is pleased with the service and they just charge it to her room. My mom likes the workers here. The price is right for me, simple and not fancy. She likes the meals they serve, it the main thing she likes. They have bingo, library, and outings. They are good with communication, options and services.

This is a nice community, my tour went pretty well. The staff was kind and friendly. From what I saw everything was nice and clean. It appeared to be well maintained, which was nice. We would had to have signed a lease in order for her to move, and I didn't feel very comfortable with that. It was good tour, this is a pleasant community.

The community is very nice and the staff is great. The staff is very good about keeping me informed about what my loved ones needs and the current state that my loved one is in. The community is also kept very cleans. I have never had any problems with needed something cleaned.
