We toured this community for care for my father. We were not too comfortable with an older community for my father. It did not appear to be taken care of. The apartment unit was not what we were looking for. They need to update the community floors, We were not liking the dining area. We could not suggest this community for others.

We like this community a lot, but this community did not have an apartment that was in doors. We wanted me, mom, not to have to go out doors in the heat. The menu was appealing. They do have a lot of activities. We would recommend this community to others that are more independent

very nice staff and residents are happy. this one is far from us though, about 35 minutes away.

We toured this community and like the layout of the clean community. The staff was nice on the tour that we received. We liked that we had options on cooking or the nice meals that were available. We did not feel that the cottages were big enough for what we needed. We would of like the community if it was bigger.

I really like it here at Brookdale Patriot Heights. It is a beautiful community with beautiful landscaping. The staff has been very friendly and helpful. The food is pretty good, and they offer a variety of choices. They provide two meals a day with generous portions. My room is exactly what I wanted, it has a big picture window and a balcony. They offer activities for the residents to engage in. I really enjoy their social activities that they provide for the residents to get together and socialize. I'm excited about joining their ice cream social that is coming up. They also offer transportation to Dr. appointments and shopping trips. I would highly recommend this community to friends and family.

My dear friend has recently made the move into this community and I can not say enough great things about this place. The staff are absolutely amazing and I can not say enough great things about them. They have been empathetic to every situation and are highly trained in taking care of the seniors. I like that if there is every an issue they address it immediately and take care of the situation. Even the dinning room staff has gone out of there way to sit with her and just explain the transportation program so that she is aware of it. They all have truly have done there part to make sure she is right at home. She thinks the food is fabulous and has already gotten involved in many of the activities. Overall it has been the perfect fit and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Everyone at Brookdale has Been very professional, helpful, and respectful. I am very happy to have them taking care of my family member. I know i can trust them to take care of her as if it was there family. I totally would recommend Brookdale to anyone that needs help with the health and welfare of their loved one.

On my tour I got to see the community and I would have loved to move my mom here but the price to live here was not in our budget. The person who showed us the community did a wonderful job.

This was a match for us. Soon as we walked in we "felt" it. Big but not too big. Lots of windows and sunlight. They have respite opt. Instead of long term assisted living. People and personnel very friendly and professional. Out door spaces were beautiful and well kept. Need to see if we can work out the finances since insurance doesn't cover cost.

I took my grandfather to The Citadel last week and our tour guide was very informative and very personable! My grandpa was very comfortable with opening up to her about his issues which I was surprised. The place seemed to be very active, clean and staff was friendly. I was going to ask a few residents how they liked living there and they told me they loved it and that he should move in before me even asking lol. The independent apartments were very large and the price was very affordable. I got all my questions answered and the tall blonde marketing lady even helped me out with VA info, movers and a realtor she almost convinced me to move in lol. I hope my grandpas house sells fast,we will be moving him in as soon as it sells! Thank you again for being so kind to both of us~

We have been happy with the care from this service. We have like the care that we are receiving at home help. The caretaker is helping with cooking and a few small things .We like that she is trust worthy and reliable. She does arrive on time when needed. We would recommend this service and the caretaker for good in home care.

Great therapy!!! New management is very thorough. Nursing and cnas are very caring and make you feel at home. Building is older but care is best we've had. Would recommend for anyone looking for a loved one.

We toured this community and we felt like it was more like a hospital feeling and not an active community. The staff was nice, but we wanted an apartment living environment. The rooms were nice and on the large size. We would recommend that families take a tour to see if this is what they want due to so many choices inside the community

This is a good community, and my father is doing very well since his move here. Everything has worked out very well, and we are pleased with all they have done for our family. My father is safe, and in good hands at this community. They are taking good care of him, and his needs.

[Removed] listened to my wants and desires for my 93 yr old mother that was very active all of her life! She booked me with two places and [Removed] was very nice. Perfect size rooms, very close to our family and doctors. [Removed] took me through the facility and it was perfect. The staff was very friendly, facility very elegant and the residents seemed extremely happy!!! LOTS of smiles!! I like the idea for my mom of a studio room so they are encouraged to mingle with other residents. GREAT IDEA!!!!

Great place with a very caring staff. The team in the Assisted Living portion of the Resort really demonstrate compassion and love towards the guest.

This is a wonderful community for my mom.The staff are very nice and caring to her needs. My mom's health has improvement and she is very happy with the care from this community.We would highly recommend that other families tour this community for the care of a loved one.

Amazing care at this facility. Building may be older but new management and ownership has completely turned this building around. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel like part of the family and make your loved one feel at home. The care given at this facility exceeds all other buildings in the KCK. So happy we chose this place for my father. Its refreshing to see a company who invested in a place that has been a part of this community for 50 years. Wyandotte county needed this and so happy to have had such a great experience.

The care is above any in Kansas City Kansas. Building may be a bit older but new ownership has completely turned this place around. The staff is so caring and really makes you feel like you are part of the family. Therapy team is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. I love this place, and love that a company has invested in a building that has been a part of this community for 50 years. Wyandotte county needed a facility like this!

The offer my mom to participate in the activities. I would recommend the care of this community to other families for good care and nice value.
