Written by family member for resident: It has been the best choice my mom could have ever made. She wishes She had chosen to come here long before this. It is very clean here. It is as close to being in her own home as She could get. The staff is wonderful and treats her like family. My family can come in and out all night and day if they choose. I refer to it as the “Hilton hotel with 24 hour room service.” The food is good. The activities are good. They do not force her to do things she’s not comfortable doing. She is a little shy so it took a while for her to get used to eating with others. But She loves her dining room table mates. They have entertainers come in. My family has came over and joined het for a couple of music sessions. I cannot say enough about how wonderful symphony Valley Farms has been for my mom and our family!! (They can bring their own furniture. There is medical transport 2 days a week. There are shopping outings and so much more!)

I have never seen another such residence as nice. As the visual surroundings of a place are very important to me, I fell in love immediately with your spacious, gracious lobby and the courtyard beyond. On the 3rd floor I loved the balcony space, creatively designed for safety and a chance to experience the outdoors while still inside. And the ample room size held space for many mementos. So many things are arranged to help the caregiver deal with the stresses of illness. There is a real sense of community at Symphony Manor. The special occasion days (crab feast, Holiday party, Thanksgiving, etc) and the music programs in the lobby give one something to look forward to. Important, too, was that the memory care residents were integrated with the assisted living for programs and events. The most important ingredient in the Symphony Manor mix was the dedication of the staff. The Executive Director and Health and Wellness Director were always accessible when questions arose. The waitresses who served in the dining room did so with class, as if we were ordering in a restaurant. The chef and facility personnel were friendly and accommodating. Most important of all, of course, were the nurses and aides who helped everyday. They were unfailingly kind and patient, helping the residents keep their dignity when they could no longer attend to their most basic needs without help. I did not realize how creative staff had to be when working with memory loss patients. And not to forget to give kudos to the memory care coordinator and the lifestyle and leisure director. Their wonderful zest and enthusiasm brightened the day of many a resident and family member. When we were feeling worn out and discouraged their bouncy energy perked one up. Who would ever have guessed that reading the ingredients for a recipe in the newspaper could generate memories and responses in the listeners? But it did. So thank you all. Everyone works for the common good and gives meaning to the days of these residents.

Very informative, clean and a friendly staff. This place is very quaint. Feels very home like. I like the security of the building and the floor plan of the rooms.

Symphony Manor has exceeded my expectations for my wife in assisted living. The facility is very well run and managed. The nursing staff and aides are very caring and supportive of resident individual needs which I have really appreciated. There are wonderful activities planned throughout every week, most on site, and others are trips to local attractions, theater, and restaurants. Having dined with my wife on several occasions, the food is excellent.

After considering several assisted living facilities, I suddenly remembered visiting a friend [name removed], about 4 years ago at Sympathy Manor to play cards with a group of friends. We were all impressed about how friendly everyone had been. I mentioned this to my son, and he suggested that we contact them. We did and felt the presence of friendship, cleanliness and care.

My father has just become a resident on the memory care unit, my father is still relatively independent with his care although needs direction. As a retired nurse having worked in many nursing homes, I have found Brentwood refreshing. Almost always they keep the residents in memory care active and stimulated. They provide a calm and clean environment, with roomy and spacious common areas. Bedroom and bath in a semi private room is nice and comfortably large. The staff is helpful and kind with attention to the activity director. I couldn't be happier or more satisfied with Brentwood

I liked the place. Clean, attractive residents engaged. Met w Exec Director who had a ton of good advice. But it is pricey.

We loved this place. You just need to check if they take Medicaid. We don’t want to get her in here then it becomes too expensive and she would have to move.

Very homey, spacious rooms,left to do, Community feeling, religious services offered, Mass offered weekly, children visit from OLM And daycare.Convenient location close to downtown East Greenwich, with many dining options, and Goddard Park. Older community so staff and residents seem to of been here for a while.Building a U shape Without our activities on the center, outdoor movies, cookout, etc.Everyone knows your name. Felt like home.

We were favorably impressed with the room designs, and the overall feel of comfort and activity here. Staff were engaged with residents.

I picked this community for my Mother-In-Law because it came highly recommended. The staff is always nice and caring. The rooms are a lot more spacious than other’s I had looked at. The food is excellent and I like that they have a menu that will vary from month to month. The only thing I don’t like is they don’t offer skilled nursing. When my Mother-In-Law needs more advanced care that means I will have to move her out of this facility. I highly recommend this community.

Things are going very well here for my wife and I am also surprised at all the activities they have and how busy they keep the residents. They have two nice courtyards and they do activities out there as well, My wife has even started to make friends. The food is so, so but my wife is eating well and I enjoy going over to be with her every day.

Everything is going just fine at this location! The staff are great and they are doing what they can to make my loved one feel very comfortable. We also appreciated the fact that it fit so well into our set budget. Overall, we have no complaints!

I'am very pleased with my love one move to this community. They have an excellent staff, and they are taking great care of her, and her needs. I know she is safe, and receiving great care. They have been very responsive, and helpful whenever needed. The community looks good when I visit, they do a good job with the cleanliness. There are activities offered, and the meals are good. I'am very satisfied with all they have for us. This community is working out well for my love one, and her needs. I would recommend it overall.

My parents are very happy at Symphony Square it is beautifully decorated, and they are starting to join in some of the many activities that are offered there. There are also field trips with shopping and special events for the residents who want to join in. My parents like the dining area and the food is fantastic. I am very comfortable with my parents being at Symphony Square.

We have been happy with the care from this community. The staff is outstanding and very nice. The community is the clean and nice environment for to be in. We like the nice variety on the menu. They have good activities for her to participate. We have recommended this community to other families for the good care and value that is offered at this community.
