Mission Creek is a wonderful facility. The nurses take wonderful care of the residents and keep them busy with many activities.

The caregivers are very good as is most of the staff. They need to hire more staff in several areas. The entire inside needs to be brightened up with a new paint job-very dark.

[name removed] is at Clifden Court and he is receiving very satisfactory care. They have been helpful in getting him settled in and cared for. Their staff is quite responsive and helpful.

Overall, The Heights at Evansville Manor is a great place and has wonderful people, but the main complaint has been the food quality.

As you know you get what you pay for. On the whole it has been a positive experience for my brother. Going from total independence to assisted living has required a 3 to 4 week adjustment period. Relationships are a two way street. Once my brother and staff got to know each other, both developed a mutual sense of expectation and cooperation. Staff shortages are evident but administration seems to be trying hard to maintain appropriate levels of service. Tha facility is always very clean. Food variety and quality is an ongoing concern. Most of the food is brought in from the outside and warmed (not cooked in the facility kitchen).

Clifton court is assistant living. My mother in law was assessed as a level 4. The rooms are nice. Some have a sink and refrigerator and others do not. Size also varies. Rooms are clean. Food for most part is good. There are days when take out would be better. Staff on 2nd and 3rd is a mixed bag. Sometimes meds are delivered and sometimes not. My mother in law gets eye drops and we decided the facility should do all meds. Application is over done and she runs out. There are a few who don’t want to be bothered. That is the exception. We go every night and check on her. I wish we could have sat down with the outside service providers to understand what they offer like podiatrist and doctor. I also noticed the improvement in my mother in law and had to ask for a reevaluation to decrease the care cost. They did do it. With everything this a two way street. My mother in law can be stubborn and that adds to the mix. Overall we like the facilities.

I really didn't experience a lot of things that they offered like meals and activities because my wife was only there 9 days, but It was a very nice place. Yes I would very much so recommend them to others, if I get in that situation I hope they have a bed open for me.

She is content for now and that's a blessing. Transportation options could be better. Overall it's been as good as it could. I've had all positive interactions with the staff. The residents have been friendly as well.

What we like the most about this community is the location, it is very close to use and we would absolutely recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

They could use more staff in memory care because they are very busy. The staff is excellent and caring.

They have had a lot of issues with the TV/internet and based on the experience we would recommend Charleston House to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

My father in law has passed but we were very very happy there. He came out of his shell and did well while he was there. Everyone was super nice there. Most residents leave door open when they are in their unit. Every single person who walked by say Hi [name removed] . Not just a hi but by name. They got him to go down stairs for meals which he was not happy about and ended up enjoying. The response from management was very prompt when we had a concern. He enjoyed the food. Had a good variety. Biggest complaint was no stuffing on turkey day ! We had brought him a plate from home so not a big deal. He was fully incontanent so needed to be changed and a 2 person lift or sometimes Hoya. Most places wouldn't take him. I did negotiate in the contract a flat fee per month if he decided to not go down for meals or couldn't. Otherwise it is very pricey to pay per meal. A little deceiving in the paperwork. The transportation provided by them is for appointments only and is very limited. We thought since we were within the radius we could use the bus to transport anywhere including our home. Bus was broken more then it worked while he was there. We realize nowhere is perfect and everywhere is short staffed but overall very pleased while he was there. We did tour over 10 places. Stayed for rehab at several different ones and still more than happy with charter overall.

I had built a strong relationship with the staff and they truly were a partner to me. The reason I didn't give a 5 is the overall challenge of those facilities- changing staff, new company buying them, some slight breakdowns in communication. I would highly recommend them though- being involved is very important.

The people are friendly but staff seems to change often. Communication with the family isn't the best.

The community and staff have been good all around. It's just the unfortunate that they have changed management/companies multiple times in the past year and a half. Which led to staffing shortages unfortunately. That would be the only issue we have experienced.

It's a very typical Assisted living place. Nice size apartments, expensive rent with cheap food served cafeteria style. Standing in line waiting for food, like school kids. The ones that are not mobile wait even longer. I would recommend but with reservations.

The facility recently went from Dimensions to Eden Vista, the new owner. There is a new program manager. I'm not sure if other changes are coming. The place is smaller than some, which my mom likes. There is a homey atmosphere due to the smaller size. I was told that a lot of people complain about the food, but I don't know if the residents shared their concerns with the staff. Some staff aren't very good about returning calls. More activities would be nice, as well as outings. It is too expensive, as are most assisted care facilities.

Research the facility by talking with the residents and caretaker/wait staff; visit at meal time, look for hidden charges such as telephone calling area, transportation range included in monthly fee, meals in room vs dining hall, etc.. How are damages to personal effects caused by another resident handled?

The staff is very nice. The grounds and the building need some work. Especially the driveways and parking areas. My mother in law is not a fan of the food, she cooks all of her own meals now.

Food is very good. They've had the same chef for decades. They are in process of updating the cottages.
