Kind & caring employees. Residents & staff are very friendly. Cleaning, maintenance, CNA’s and staff are very attentive. A quiet, pretty place to live with great activities & celebrations. More aides would be of benefit, but they’re very good about stopping in when they’re not busy to check in.

Overall, the facility has been really great for my dad. My twin sister and I really appreciate the care and help that my dad has received including house keeping, laundry, and showers. As the time went on, the quality of care has improved. The admin staff, including the director of nursing, have went above and beyond in getting the help and assistance that my dad needed. For example, the director of nursing was able to get medication for my dad that was extremely cost effective. She also helped him to have the in house pharmacy provide the meds instead of us trying to find an outside facility to get his meds. The staff are very friendly and the facility is very clean. The only downfall is the price. Although the price is manageable, it would be nice if it was a cheaper.

Eden Stow staff are professional and mom has settled in nicely. The staff are friendly and attentive to residents. The only complaint is they don't do enough showers for residents and there slow on changing bed linens.

Eden Vista was clean and caring with attentive staff...the only thing was administrative when things were finally over. Regarding the refund.

I have found that the nursing home business is a bait and switch. When I went with a place for mom I had a set amount of money to spend each month with my mom"s retirement. They will promise you the world and price to get you in, but when you get that first bill you pucker because it's NOT what was discussed and they Don't care!!!! Don't let me go into the medication problems and all the other BS that goes on. Here in Ohio I will fight for reform and to tell the truth to people about the bait and switch tack ticks they use!!!!!

Could use more care givers, but everyone is short of help. Food is good and administrative staff very helpful, and responsive. Not a lot of activities, but it is a smaller facility.

Staff work hard to keep her safe and well cared for. They are kind and respectful. After establishing a system of communication, family receives updates weekly. Although there are facility activities, Mom mostly opts out. Overall, she has settled into a routine and we are very happy with this arrangement.

A lot of staff changes. Some employees were not friendly with residence. They don't want to be there. There a few that are great. Just changed ownership. Not sure how that will shake out. They have a lot of activities but my mother in law refuses to participate and they tried to convince her. Food has varied especially on weekends or who was cooking. It is clean. It smells fine. My mother in law does not go to dining room. She refuses to. They allow it and bring her food to her. It is a smaller facility they have memory care in a separate building and those who need a hoist/lift in a third building. We think it is a good fit for her.

The entire staff was very thoughtful in their kind care of my mom. The room size was great, but the food wasn't the best.

It is clean. The people are friendly. The monthly cost appears reasonable compared to some other facilities. They have skilled nursing, memory care and assisted living to assist mom as she ages and transitions to different levels of care.

The facility does struggle with being short staffed. Communication with staff is a slow process. But we know that [name removed] is safe there and treated well.

The main issue we had, is they were in the middle of changing to Eden Vista, and their billing was all messed up. I really don't know If their service declined, as we didn't have dad at the facility too long after that.

I visit [name removed]pretty much daily at Maple Ridge. She's usually clean, groomed , and wearing fresh clothing. By itself that is a big improvement over the last facility. I pay attention to all the other residents as well and don't get the feeling [name removed] is being treated differently because they know I'll be there.

They were understaffed and I wasn't thrilled with the care from the workers. The hospice people were very good and attentive and caring.

What we like about the community is the activity directors and physical therapy are really great. I do think they should have one more CNA's on shift so residents can be changed more promptly. I do also think that the memory care residents are treated so kindly

The staff is very caring and truly have the residents well being in mind. The caregivers have always been friendly and kind to the residents and family members. The biggest challenge as I see it is getting enough caregivers hired and trained. Every extended care facility has the same issues. I'm am confident that they care for my Mom and I don't worry about her health and safety.

Thing they could improve on, would be quicker response to phone calls and emails that we send to check on his care. However, we like that they changed his diet when he began choking on food. He loves it there, and that is a great reflection on his care. The staff is friendly for the most part. We have had a couple interactions with a nurse and she seemed bothered when I asked a question about his medicine.

It is a que sera sera environment. Get the facility manager out and about. Fix the kitchen equipment and supply chain issues .

Eden Vista has been a wonderful place for my mom. The staff is kind, attentive, and I feel as though this is the best place for her. The only problem is the kitchen food is good, but it is often late and cold upon arrival. It just seems very unorganized. Other than the Kitchen… it is a very nice.

My mother became a resident here over a year ago. While the biggest issue is having to place your mom in any facility, it took her time to adjust. I talk with my mom daily and there are always going to be things that don't seem right or may upset my mom, overall, she has found her place here and seems very happy. The staff has been great with all aspects, they are easy to work with and the get back to you when you have questions. My mom has made many friends, and she says you have to make the best of each situation. She is involved with decorating, daily activities and the outside patio area. While the facility maybe older, they are constantly trying to make things better for the staff and residents. Given all of the interworking of a facility like this I think they do a very good job trying to make the resident experience a home and a feeling of being loved and cared for.
