She was in independent living and didn't receive care. It was a nice facility. It was somewhat dated but well maintained. My mother wasn't there long. She decided she didn't like it and returned home. That wasn't a reflection on the facility. She didn't make any effort to acclimate.

My parents were not sure they wanted to depart with the home they raised all of my siblings and myself in initially. Then we began to search for assisted living facilities and Tipton Place in Huntington, IN was on the list. When we went and initially toured the facility, we were welcome with friendly smiles and open minds. The best part about looking for a place for your loved ones is not being made to feel pushed into making such an important decision. Tipton Place was patient with us and gave very detailed information as we asked questions during the tour. The community is very call and that was something important to us as care would be more individualized and prompt. I would consider as well as recommend looking at Tipton Place for your loved ones.

My overall experience at Benton Manor was amazing. Even though mom only lived 3 weeks after she arrived there, the care they gave mom was great!!! They allowed her meals to be delivered to her room, took good care of her along with her Hospice care. After mom passed away they were so kind and good to me and my family.
