Easy 5 for all! Love the place. Very nice people, great food and Bruce, the activity director has awesome games and get together for special occasions!! My mom and I LOVE them!! We would definitely recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

[name removed] has been wonderful to work with as we work towards the best decisions for our family member. She has generously worked to understand our situation and offer great advice and support. The staff we met were gracious and friendly. The facility was very clean, updated and very nice.

Friendly/ caring staff, the activities were appropriate for the individuals with Alzheimer's/dementia. If my mom didn't like the food that was served that day staff would see what she wanted and get it to her.

They do a lot of activities like a really good amount of activities. My mother is in memory care. They do even more activities in assisted living several a day. I just think it's harder to hire a good night crew and you never get to know them and I can't get a hold of anybody at night. I know they're busy probably with the dementia patients, but it is a consistent thing that I have noticed

The staff is very friendly and interactive with my mother and the other residents. Clean and cozy feel in the building. Spacious rooms and good size bathrooms

It was a nice facility..The staff was nice and friendly. They took time to welcome us and to listen to our desires and needs for my mom They showed us around and explained everything about their facility, programs and services.

Everyone I met was very warm, energetic, and friendly. The facility is very well kept, they answered every question, and really worked to get my mom there. They are trained and cross-trained and work together like a team.

Friendly and informative staff. Beautiful facility. Staff and residents had appeared to have sincere caring relationships. Sales team did all they could do to help us in making a very difficult decision in a timely manner.

I think I would rate all of these a 5. The staff was amazing, his room was so nice. Overall, we were really satisfied with everything. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families. Burley is a nice small town with great access to so many outdoor activities. They are fairly close to larger cities that can offer additional areas of interest as well.

I don't live there. So it's hard for me to say. But I think my mother in law would say the location is great and the grounds are pretty and peaceful and her apartment is spacious and nice. And she enjoys the activities and socializing.

The staff was attentive and responsive, and very kind.

Facility was nice, but worn. They are renovating it now and I would like to see when done. Lots of activities and friendly people. Only downside is you have to walk outside to get the main building. Covered walkways, but not good enough if heavy rain outside.

As soon as I walked in I felt at home.I’m looking forward to moving there and getting settled. I’m glad everything is on one floor. I was very satisfied with the one bedroom with a small screened in patio.

This is a lovely facility and there are plenty of friendly people. It was a huge convenience that they loaned us furniture for my 90-yr old mother-in-law, so she could move in immediately. We then had time to arrange for movers to bring her permanent items.

All of the staff were always so helpful and nice. They felt like family. I thought the planned activities were great. My dad isn't much of a social person, so didn't really participate. The food was great! I ate there a couple of times and enjoyed everything. My dad was in a studio, which was perfect for him. Just enough room to not feel claustrophobic. Overall, we had an awesome experience. We would still be there if another family member needed an accommodation, and it was easier to move my dad in with her. My husband and I joke every time we pass Summerhouse that we should move in there. We would if I didn't need room for my family to visit!

My sister received an incredibly warm welcome! Staff was kind and helpful and the other residents were extraordinary. Her apartment is perfect for her as well. I’ve worked in retirement communities for most of my career so I have other experiences for comparison. The building is a bit on the older side so I was pleased to hear that they are beginning a renovation project before the end of the year. Plans look quite attractive.

It is a wonderful place. The staff seems really involved with the residents and their family. They love Peter and enjoy his involvement in activities. They asked for no tv in the room and it really helps him be involved, relaxed and even happy. The activities director loaned us her laptop for a video visit, set it up for us and stayed until we were successfully connected. I think they won an award for their food!

My mother had recently experienced a couple falls that resulted in a hospital stay, rehab and eventually placement in a memory care facility. We selected Heartis due to their reputation, nice facility and staff credentials. My mother was a handful but all the caregivers were caring, compassionate and professional. I commend the staff for their dedication and commitment in what is a very difficult working environment.
