Nice welcoming environment, good service for assisted living residents, low monthly cost. More assistance for non-English speaking residents would be nice. The communication with the family was handled through timely phone calls and emails, such as COVID infection, quarantine, vaccine, etc.

My Mother has been a resident for the past 2 years and she just loves it there! There is always activities if you care to join in, all sorts of entertainment comes to the Village. Meals are included 3 times a day and the food is excellent she loves it! Your room is cleaned and bedding changed for you. All Dr’s therapist come to the Village as we’ll I know when I’m ready I and my husband will be moving to this Winter Village.

My Mother in law lives at Winter Village. She loves it and enjoys all the activities they have. She’s made many friends and they even play cards together after dinner. Great place to enjoy your retirement. Your meals are made for you daily.

I have several years of experience with a loved one in Assisted Living. Based on that I can tell you that this place is better, on every level, than any other we've experienced. The staff is just phenomenal. My parents were reluctant to move to a facility, but they now both love it and are so happy here! They offer a good variety of activities. The food is good quality and variety. Communication with the family is excellent. I can't think of one thing that I would suggest they improve at this point. Not a thing. They just go the extra mile here. For example, my parents are baseball fans and always watch the games in the common area. One evening during the World Series, a staff member noticed they weren't in there watching the game and went all the way to their room to check in on them. It's just great. They really have things together and I'm blessed that my parents are here. We knew that from the beginning that this was the right place for them. We didn't even tour any other communities, we didn't have to. I would absolutely recommend them to friends and family.

My parents lived at Ormond in the Pines for several years, and I can honestly say that the staff there loved them and treated them as if they were their own parents or grandparents. The apartments are lovely, and the maintenance crew is on top of it when any little thing needs fixing, the housekeeping staff is friendly, efficient and thorough, the meals are great with a wide range of choices and the social gatherings provide wonderful opportunities for making friends and enjoying some shenanigans! We will miss them all!

What sticks out most about The Conservatory at Plano is the VERY friendly and helpful staff. It has such a nice environment, and so many excellent activities provided for residents!! I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this community to others looking for independent living.

This was a good community with good activities. The staff had great follow up. However, it was more expensive than we wanted.

I have a 10+ year history with A Place for Mom, first starting with counselor [name removed] who helped me find a place to care for my grandmother in Washington DC, to finding a place for my mother in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Your guidance has not failed me. I recommend Fountainwood at Lake Houston. Fast forward to just a few weeks ago. Since moving my mother here, we have been extremely impressed with the whole team, including the outside therapy and medical groups. In addition, the level of care and warm reception shown to my mother has met a very high standard. My mother was an Ambassador at the other two assisted living homes in Pittsburgh and has a keen sense of what is working well and what is not. The most recent facility is highly recognized and respected, by you too. I believe that our mother has not yet experienced all that Fountainwood at Lake Houston has to offer, but our family looks forward, with anticipation, to the future. The best is still in front of us.

For your loved ones the community does have safety measures that will give you a peace of mind. The community residents are very friendly and welcoming. The community offers happy hours for the residents. The residents receive 3 meals a day in a family style dining hall, they did have a COVID-19 out break after a month of my loved one moving in the community however they acted fast and they were very accommodating and delivered all 3 meals to the residents doors until the outbreak was taken care, and then they opened the dining hall back up was it was safe for everyone.

I enjoy my freedom to choose the activities I want to participate in. I really like how spacious my apartment is. The employees truly care about us and are helpful and friendly.

All went out of their way to be helpful and patient~ focused. Not luxurious but "homey" comfortable. Price point is fair.

It is a fun, happy place with lots of choices for loved ones to be involved in. The apartment is great. It's clean. There's plenty of room for my loved one. And it has everything she needs. They put in brand new flooring in her unit before she moved in, which was very nice. I like that with independent living, we're paying for only what she needs currently, and If her care needs change over time, we can bring in self paid care as long as full assisted living is still not needed.

This location is awesome, with easy access to several key expressways and in a safe neighborhood with many shopping/dining options. The team demonstrates love, patience and kindness. The culture is strong. Preston Greens is upscale but not stuffy --- fresh, clean, technology rich AND the attention to detail is fabulous! Recommend you see for yourself!

We had an excellent tour experience at Solstice Senior Living at Grapevine. Mom did not like the rooms as well as another facility we were looking at. They were willing to give a discount based on no food needed as my loved one is on a puree diet. . This site offers 'age in place' with contract aides or nurses.

I work in this facility doing hospice/homecare. [name removed] at the front desk always is pleasant to talk with when I'm there. The building is always clean, the staff are always helpful, and maintence does a excellent job about fixing any repairs in a timely matter! There is always something to do, activities throughout the day to keep your loved one busy and engaged. All my patients I have there love where they live and I would recommend this place to any of my own loved ones!

The staff was amazing. They were extremely caring and built real relationships with the residents. I was welcome to come visit at any time. Any rules they had were to protect the safety and security of the residents.

There are so many things to do for entertainment. From card playing and music to parties and celebrations. They always have a variety of good food. The staff is friendly and caring, they really go the extra mile.

Great food, great staff, and an all around great place to live! I visit some people I know here and they are always clean and engaged in activities..... This community provides independent living with choices for care and has a separate wing for people that are in need!

The community is very open, friendly, helpful, and set up a tour quickly for us. The staff communication with the family has been very good. There are three meals a day served daily, and there are choices for the residents to choose from. The main meal is lunch with breakfast and dinner having smaller portions. Some of the activities available include: outings, entertainment, puzzles, exercises and more for the residents to choose from to participate in.
