I was thinking when the time comes, that I would also like to move in this community. Communication with staff is pretty good. The community is overall pretty clean.

We have been so thrilled with our experience at Woodbury Mews, we love it here. It is a very family - like atmosphere and everyone has been super friendly from the get go. The staff are very encouraging and like to get the residents involved. I would highly recommend this facility to others.

It has been a very good experience so far

This is my third place, and I'm very happy to be here. One good thing about Ormand in The Pines is you can do all of these things and you don't have to go outside walking anyplace - to your meals, etc., which is a big plus. You don't have to get wet and cold on your way anywhere. I have my own laundry in my apartment, and they also have two laundry areas on each floor with eight washers/dryers. They furnish your sheets, towels, and toilet paper, which doesn't sound like much, but it really is. They clean the room every week (as opposed to every 2-4 weeks like some other places). Ormand Beach itself is a very beautiful, upscale environment. We have a restaurant right across the street with delicious wings and catfish. The hospital is less than 10 minutes away, so if you have any type of emergency they can get there quickly. There are dentists nearby, as well as banking. We have a bus service that takes you to Walmart, the bank, the library, out to eat, to doctor appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The driver even walks with you with an umbrella if it's raining, and he holds out his arm so you don't fall going in/out. They have church services here. Entertainment comes in. They celebrate your birthday. They decorate the place beautifully. Every apartment has its own air conditioning and heating unit, so you can have the temperature just how you like it. The grounds are lovely to look at. Wi-fi service is included in the monthly fee. The food is good, and Lois makes delicious cinnamon rolls. We have our own generators, so we didn't lose electricity during the hurricane. We have a beauty shop on-site. I feel very safe here. We have fire drills. The people who work here are very trustworthy (no theft like I experienced at another facility). They're friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, efficient - the staff are just great. We have automatic door openers for the front lobby. We have an inground heated pool year-round. There is adequate parking for your car, as well as the option for covered parking. You can keep your pet if you have it on a leash. We have mail delivery. And I like that if I need assisted care later on, I don't have to move.

My dad was only there for about 4 months, but he made some great friends. The care at Terra Bella was wonderful to my dad and me. The employees there truly care about their residents' happiness and well-being.

The actual tour experience with The Lynmoore at Lawnwood was good, but we were not as impressed with the facility as far as independent living goes. It seemed to be a little bit more on the depressing side.

Our family had an in person tour and out of the countless other communities we had checked out this one by far was the best, we thought they did a wonderful job. It would of been our loved ones first choice but the price range was just to high for our loved one.

The staff is wonderful! They do offer activities. Exercise classes at all levels, trips to the mall weekly. There is a book to sign up for the activities. Trips to the grocery store and pharmacy weekly. And a car or bus to take us to any medical facility within a ten mile radius. They provide weekly light housekeeping and make the beds for me! The facility is extremely clean and if there is a problem they quickly take care of it. If we need something done personally... such as hanging curtains, the will fill out a work order and do the job when they can at a set rate per hour. I would definitely recommend it to others but it is a bit pricey so they would need to be aware of that, right up front. I love it here and have already made many friends and built quite a support system.

What we really like about Solstice Senior Living is the staff, they are so warm, friendly and welcoming. Every time we come to visit the residents are always saying hi to one another and engaging in conversation. So far our loved one has had no complaints regarding the meals, she says they are good with a good variety. We have not paid to much attention to the activities as of yet but our loved one has participate in a few things. Based on our experience we would recommend this community to other families.

We're very happy with this community. It's a friendly community and I think they do a great job here. Housekeeping is weekly and they do a good job every time. The staff has all been friendly and accommodating. The food is good quality and they offer a good variety. I would recommend them to friends and family.

I toured this community and it was great! It was our second choice, we really liked it. Friendly staff and cleanliness was great!

We really like the people and just how responsive they are and they have been good to mom.

Loved Heartis Village. If it was easier to get there from our home, we probably would have gone that direction. Their initial presentation and tour were fantastic, and they made you feel completely welcome from the moment we walked in.

My mom was very impressed with Heartis Village of Peoria. Walking into the facility was like walking into a luxury hotel. She liked the size of the rooms and was very wowed by the overall appearance of everything. Of course I can't speak to what it's like to actually live there, but on our tour, the staff seemed friendly. It was pretty expensive though.

My mother and I are finding Solstice to be a safe, fun, and comforting place for her to live. She enjoys all the activities and social engagement with friends and loves meeting new people. The staff is caring and supportive and goes out of their way to help me with any issues my mom is having if I cannot be there.

The food is tasty and the service is great

All I did was take a tour with Atria Virginia Beach, but from what I saw it seemed very nice - the facility is beautiful. I noticed that a majority of the residents here were in great shape and sharp, my mother needed a lot more nursing care. That was the main reason we did not choose Atria and also it was very expensive.

Everyone has been friendly and helpful. The staff have been able to provide several care services for my loved one, and it has helped the family a lot. The staff are very informative and they always have the answers to our questions. You can tell they really get to know the residents well, and you can tell this by what they have to say to the family. My loved ones have enjoyed the meals served so far. There is always something going on for activities for the residents to participate in. The rooms are a good size. The value for the money is good. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones.

Love this community! The staff truly care about the residents - and residents are happy. The variety of meals is great; not only do you have a chef's choice but an every day menu too. Apartments are nice and large and all have a full kitchen, so if you want to make something for yourself, you can. Transport is offered, they have activities and I love that the outdoor space is fully fenced for safety. It's really a resort style setting and a really great place to live!
