My father lived here for 2 years and I he was very happy at Brookdale Des Plaines. The staff was always helpful and would notify me if there were any concerns regarding my father. We chose Brookdale Des Plaines because it is a large facility and is located in the downtown area of Des Plaines - Which has a lot of stores and restaurants within 1 mile radius. There are lot of amenities that include a living room, dining room, activity room (pool table), library, fitness/therapy center, salon, outdoor patio, live entertainment, etc. They offer a bus that can take residents on field trips/shopping. My dad loved that he was able to socialize with other residents and staff members. I really like everything that Brookdale Des Plaines offers and I recommend it for anyone looking for a place for independent/assisted living.

It's not the #1 place in San Antonio, but it's a very good place. They seem to care. They're friendly, and basic care is good. Before we came, we asked people about the food, and they told us it's good. But my mom doesn't care for it - she would like to see more variety.

I already tell others of their kindness and the safety. The staff genuinely care and show it regularly. As a result, the entire community is friendly to all--everyone is greeted by nearly all the residents with openness and regard.

There is very nice outdoor space at the facility for residents to enjoy. They have exercise to enjoy all day long , chair yoga is very popular. [name removed] the executive director is priceless, she is very hands on. She actually comes and gets my friend up in the morning to exercise if she does not go and will lead them herself. My friend raves about the food! She says that the portion sizes are pretty big that they give out. There are plenty of activities provided. She has gotten pretty sick and there is a nurse in the building who is always there and she is always coming down and helping out, she takes really good care of her and is great with communication to the family. They are short staffed but they are doing the best that they can, they are overcoming that obstacle and the needs are still met. The value for what she gets is very good. They have a pool, happy hour, coffee bar etc. I would highly recommend Las Villas Del Norte to others looking.

It's been a great experience during a difficult time. We just wish the food was better. It seems there has been lots of turnover in the dining management.

We toured this community for my mom and are so happy to have found something that fits her budget and her needs. The staff and residents made her feel at home. They have lots of activities and clubs.

It's a great a place. We picked this community, because of the quality of the establishment, and the people. It's a pretty nice place. I would recommend to other families.

First of all, Diamond Ridge fit our needs perfectly. The property was great. As well as dining and other facilities. The staff went out of their way to make our loved one feel comfortable. Very nice. We feel relieved that she is in a good place and she’s happy too.

We had a very good tour experience with Cardinal Place. The staff were great and answered all questions and followed up. My loved one just felt more at home at another facility we looked at.

Our families experience has been great, the community is very clean and the staff are very friendly. The meals are so so, but the value is great. It is very nice place to stay, nice building, clean, very friendly staff. The only thing missing are the meals...they need a better chef .

Very happy with the accommodations at Holiday at the Atrium. Everything went well - move in was uneventful, and my brother enjoys living there Should have placed him there years ago. He's enjoying the activities and someone cooking the meals.

I have been telling other family and friends. Informative information when we met with the representative initially. She told us about the VA pension which we had no idea. Food is great, facilities are clean and organized, living quarters are very nice.

Everyone is a 5+. My loved one couldn't be happier. Love everything about it. The best. Housekeeping in apartment done weekly. Change & provide sheets, towels and wash weekly. Maintenance does everything including hanging pictures, changing and providing lightbulbs. Carry groceries for her. They have activities all the time. Food excellent, at least 2 of the 3 meals daily. Common spaces meticulous. I would highly recommend them to family and friends.

We're very pleased with everything! It's a perfect match for our needs.

I have been very pleased with this facility. I visit my loved one about 3 times a week, the front office is very friendly. They hold events and take the residents on field trips. My loved one is very happy here.

All the staff has made [name removed] welcome. She's telling the family that she likes Burnswick better than [removed]. And I feel the same way, when you walk in every one makes feel right at home.

From the moment we first walked in the door, we were warmly greeted by staff and residents alike. The place instantly felt like home, it is the right size where it felt like a home rather than an institution. [name removed] has interesting, diverse and fun activities for the residents, the food is very good, and the staff are all caring. The apartments are nicely sized and have good natural light. My mom has been happy settling in there and even has her cat and small dog with her, which makes it more like home for her too.

So far it has been a great experience living here at Solstice at El Cajon

This has been a good choice for my loved one and family. The staff have been quick to respond to any concerns or questions the family has had. I feel very comfortable and safe having my loved one here. The staff is very team oriented and the internal communication is great. They make sure that the director and the aides and nurses are working together to provide the best care possible.

We were in a difficult situation with my mom and we came upon Overlook Green and the director really helped us to make my mom comfortable and, in turn, make us comfortable in setting her up there. Since my mom has been there, she is probably more healthy than she's been in years. She is eating properly and is getting her medication on schedule. She has made friends and likes going to the activities like bingo, but still is able to go to her apt. to do her own activities. The director sends us personal notes and pictures and she is always available to answer questions or help out. I also have spoken with other staff members on occasion and they all have been helpful and friendly. I live out of town, so I can't be there regularly, but I don't worry a bit knowing my mom is being cared for and is safe. I also like that the facility is located in a quiet neighborhood with lots of trees and beautiful views. I highly recommend Overlook Green.
