To be honest I moved her here because they had shared rooms that were around [removed] a month cheaper. She had to live here to get on the list for one of those rooms. Since she's been here they raised the rent on those rooms as much as she's paying now. I'm expecting a room rate increase anytime. But that was the main reason I put her here. It just didn't work out for cheaper rent. I'm just waiting and seeing what happens. Her insurance has ran out so it's all out of pocket now.

My mother lived there for 5 weeks before she passed. She was very happy there before Parkinson’s made her bed ridden. The staff were all very attentive and seemed to genuinely care for her. There was a bit of confusion when it came to communicating with hospice. She was in pain and not given enough medication to make her comfortable. There were times I got the med techs to give her pain meds to calm her down. Other than that we were very happy with the care

The best thing about it is the care staff. They are exceptional, I couldn't ask for more. It's a sweet place with really good people. It's not showy, no big pools or fancy happy hours, but you can tell they care. The food is very good at times, other times not so much. They could stand a little more flexibility in dining. The activities could be a little more inspired. They are a small town place so maybe it's hard to shake things up, but more variety would be nice. Overall it's a wonderful place.

Must keep on top of staff to get appropriate medications administered. Not wonderful service for daily upkeep of apartments. Food is so so. Staff is generally helpful, but I believe they must be overworked evidenced by some of the problems above. Despite some of these issues, I find that all employees have their hearts in the right place and do their absolute best.

When we signed the lease the transportation bus was available Tuesday-Friday which we knew we would need to use. They have decided to only use the bus for doctor appointment on Tuesday only. We can't always get a Tuesday appointment. 1) Their emergency fobs take a long time for the staff to answer. 2)You can only use the transportation bus for doctor appointments on Tuesday only.

Staff is kind. The on site therapy is awesome. They seem very unorganized. Many times we are not able to get answers to questions, like how to sign up for foot care. Maintenance man is so nice but he must be very overworked. Two weeks have passed without tending to requests. The head RN is terrific. She also seems very overworked. Parents have been there two months & have only seen the facility doctor once.

I'd say the facility is clean and a great location but keep your loved valuables elsewhere because someone stole my dad's military dog tags from his room.

This facility is better for younger and more active. Not that well suited to a resident who needs a lot of care. The food could use fresh and more innovative preparation. Not always possible - I know.

They were very accommodating, easy to to talk to and responsive to my questions and concerns, I would recommend Vineyard Heights Assisted living to anyone. Hospice was involved at the end and they were wonderful [name removed] and everyone I dealt with was amazingly kind and supportive.

My loved one was only here a month or so. The staff that I interacted with were very kind. I was at the facility more before my mother-in-law entered memory care. There twice after she was there. But very kind and accommodating staff as far as I could see. Just from the outside looking in, I wondered since my father-in-law had not been sitting with her if she would have been gently coaxed into trying some activities? I think staff left them alone so she wasn't active with other residents at all. She's not a big tv watcher so she just stayed in her room. Could my father-in-law have been invited to help her with the activities? She no longer has the same interests or ability to do things like she used to of course. So it seemed like she was bored.

I really have no experience with other facilities to compare it with but I think they did a good job. The food and activities were adequate, everything seemed clean and well maintained and most important of all everyone on the staff genuinely seemed to care about my mother and the other residents.

We are independent and so quality of care doesn't apply. The meals are very much in need of improvement. The activities are nearly nonexistent but they try and overall the value is good. We would recommend this community to other families but it would need to meet a clients needs. So for independent living probably no. For those needing assistance, yes

The staff members are very helpful with my mom even when she is demanding and or not as cooperative as she should be. As far as the food goes, I think offering more grilled foods for the residents would be nice!

Meals are good, move in process was nice, staff is great, communication has been ok, staff has been short handed due to turnover and Covid. I would recommend this facility to other families.

The staff is good, but there is a bit of a lack of communication. Security is good for keeping patients safe and not roaming around outside. The move in process was easy, and the facility was clean. I would recommend this facility to others.

The staff are friendly and very accommodating. Had a time crunch to place our mother into The Suites Memory Care Facility, for a certain time period. They were able to make it possible for us to move our mother into the facility for the time we needed even though it was during the Thanksgiving Holiday.

What our family likes the most about this community is the friendly residents living there as well as the staff members. We would recommend the Junction City Retirement and Assisted Living community to other families.

Open environment, staff seem to be cross trained so can answer questions regardless if in their job description. Staff seem to care about residents and engage them when see them in hallways. Need to make sure medical technicians on duty are both male and female as some of the residents are not comfortable with the opposite sex so some of ADL, grooming/bathing, physical therapy needs are not being met.

The staff is amazing. Very engaging and personal. Yes I would highly recommend to others. There are both internal and external decks on multiple levels. A very good restaurant. A café on a different floor with coffee and alcohol and snacks. There are also sitting areas on each floor. Ample gathering locations for residents and visitors

I am currently a resident at Desert Peaks Assisted Living and Memory Care and overall things have been very good for me here at this facility. I would recommend this facility to others.
