They look at the needs of each person and don't put in a box. Very caring people everywhere on all fronts.

All the personnel are very friendly and helpful. Only real problem was lack of communication and confusion with sales/admin staff when moving in, and problems with billing that have taken too long to get resolved.

There is no perfect place. Requirements need to be prioritized such that you find a place that meets 75% or more of your needs. My selection of JC was based on my father's needs. Had I been looking for a place for myself/my wife, I might have selected some other place.

I liked the community. The staff was great.

The care staff was great! Administration and finance were in a continual state of change. I would recommend this facility to other families who are currently searching for a place for their loved one.

They are always trying to improve and willing to hear from families to improve for the residences. I would recommend to others.

Cedar ridge senior living has been a good experience for me and my mom. Mom has lived with my husband and I for 7 years. 3 years ago she was diagnosed with dementia and became a flight risk which made it unsafe to keep her with us. This was the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make but moving her into Cedar Ridge Senior Living was smooth and easy and they have helped make it a very pleasant transition.

Although it is expensive the staff is very kind, caring and patient. The food is fine but often difficult for my mother to eat.. she needs a cup to drink soup etc instead of a spoon.... I'm sure the activities are fine as well for other residents, but I think my mother would enjoy more music and animals. But really it is my mother who doesn't engage.

The main reason for my satisfaction is; the staff generally speaking, is caring, respectful and thoughtful. I recently tried another facility in Hemet with main emphasis on independent living and a la carte services and newer facilities but, apparently was less expensive but when all was said and done the savings were not worth it. The food was comparable, fairly rating as acceptable.

We have been very pleased with everything except the evening meals. They are eating at 4:30 having sandwiches and a soup maybe. Something a little more substantial in the evening would help to hold them over until morning. Over all Dad is very satisfied.

Callahan Village is a wonderful facility. The feel of the place is caring, positive, beautiful. One of the greatest strengths is the quality of staff. The care partners, in particular, have shown genuine care and concern for my mom. They’ve been patient and creative in trying to help her transition to assisted living after being independent all of her adult life. We appreciate each and every one of them!

Make sure you are present when your family member is evaluated and have a clear understanding with the staff about care level needs. Think through the small things that may be taken for granted at home. Be proactive in reaching out to staff with concerns. Get clarity on what "assisted living" means for both your loved one and the facility, and that your loved one's goal is to be as independent as possible before choosing this option.

The facility is clean. The staff is really friendly. Local administration has been kind and helpful. The lower rating was for the actions of 1 new employee and the failure of regional administration to respond quickly and appropriately to something that should have been quick and easy. They bent over backwards to help us financially while waiting for my brother's house sale to close, but their payment system is archaic. The food provides basic nutrition but the quality is poor and boring. Their activities are very limited. No assisted living is really a good value in my opinion but some offer more for the money. But the bottom line is they are safe and happy there and that's all that matters.

It is Super clean with Very friendly staff. The Apartments are nice. The right size. Meals are exceptional. The lady who does activities is wonderful. Mom was not wanting to give up her independence of living at home but had settled in quite nicely. Perfect size for mom for her independence but still have her own space.

They are extremely nice to me. My mother says they don't care about her-don't look at her. But they are wonderful from my experience. The facility is always very clean and smells nice.

To be honest I moved her here because they had shared rooms that were around [removed] a month cheaper. She had to live here to get on the list for one of those rooms. Since she's been here they raised the rent on those rooms as much as she's paying now. I'm expecting a room rate increase anytime. But that was the main reason I put her here. It just didn't work out for cheaper rent. I'm just waiting and seeing what happens. Her insurance has ran out so it's all out of pocket now.

My mother lived there for 5 weeks before she passed. She was very happy there before Parkinson’s made her bed ridden. The staff were all very attentive and seemed to genuinely care for her. There was a bit of confusion when it came to communicating with hospice. She was in pain and not given enough medication to make her comfortable. There were times I got the med techs to give her pain meds to calm her down. Other than that we were very happy with the care

The best thing about it is the care staff. They are exceptional, I couldn't ask for more. It's a sweet place with really good people. It's not showy, no big pools or fancy happy hours, but you can tell they care. The food is very good at times, other times not so much. They could stand a little more flexibility in dining. The activities could be a little more inspired. They are a small town place so maybe it's hard to shake things up, but more variety would be nice. Overall it's a wonderful place.

Must keep on top of staff to get appropriate medications administered. Not wonderful service for daily upkeep of apartments. Food is so so. Staff is generally helpful, but I believe they must be overworked evidenced by some of the problems above. Despite some of these issues, I find that all employees have their hearts in the right place and do their absolute best.

When we signed the lease the transportation bus was available Tuesday-Friday which we knew we would need to use. They have decided to only use the bus for doctor appointment on Tuesday only. We can't always get a Tuesday appointment. 1) Their emergency fobs take a long time for the staff to answer. 2)You can only use the transportation bus for doctor appointments on Tuesday only.
