Lotus park has great facilities and top notch care providers. They really go the extra mile. Ariana in particular is amazing. But everyone there looks out for the residents like they are family. So glad we toured this facility.

EVERY member of staff and admin are always friendly, and helpful. I'd also add housekeeping and facility management too! The first week that my Dad arrived, he was greeted by name and with a smile??

I live too far away from my father so when he had some health issues, the Nikkei gardens helped me so much to get him safely into a room with the friendly trained staff to help him keep track of medication and get his strength back through physical therapy. The staff is so friendly and timely when they deliver his medication. They know him and myself by our first names and have appropriate safely precautions within the home. My father enjoys his space there and it’s just what he needs right now to get back to 100% again.

It was not long before our Mom started calling The Windham home. She was 96 when she moved in. 98 now. Like everyone her age, she has some limitations. Very hard of hearing and has a few “woozy” days, but gets personalized support whenever she needs it. She is considered Assisted Living, but the residents don’t really pay any attention to those classifications. We looked at other living options in Fresno, but The Windham was her immediate choice based on recommendations from other people she knew. The best thing about The Windham is the staff. They truly care. Her apartment is very comfortable. The smiling staff cleans it, does her laundry, makes her meals and brings her pills 3x per day. That was better than home! As a family member, I feel very welcome at any time. The Executive Director sits near the entrance and ALWAYS has an open door. Mom is happy, so I am happy. My Dad would have approved! We love The Windham.

Fun activities, great food, snack bar for residents if they need a hol me over to the next meal. clean everywhere you go. The employees are friendly. Good location by stores and not far from restaurants.

Prior to moving in my husband & I visited all senior communities in our city and we chose The Windham due to the manner in which we witnessed how residents were treated by staff with friendliness,respect and compassion( we toured/visited 4 times before making a decision).The number and variety of activities are a plus.The grounds are plush and make it enjoyable for daily walks. The location is perfect for our medical needs.Management has an open door policy and we feel we are heard regardless of the concern.

I would say the residents and most of the staff are very friendly and concerned about each other. Take the time and initiative to get to know as many people as possible. The building is beautiful, and the food is very good. As far as recommendations, I think more healthy variety in the menu is needed as well as better training and organization in the dining room.

The facility is beautiful and the grounds are really lovely. The staff are truly helpful and kind - this is really the best part - the staff are just wonderful. If I had to complain about anything - and I really don't like too- but the parking lot is very small for visitors and on a steep incline so parking is scarce and it's slippery in winter. However if you take your time, you can make it okay and of course there is parking on the street. This is not truly a complaint but something to be careful of - especially if you are older and cannot walk far or drive well :) It's truly a wonderful place - I just can't believe how great the staff are - from the front desk all the way to the health technicians and therapists and kitchen & janitorial services :)

The location is truly exceptional, with great amenities and services. The employees are outstanding, and the residents are truly amazing. The community is undergoing renovations and I’m eagerly looking forward to the upgrades!

Cogir of Vallejo Hills was the best decision we have ever made. Our apartment is beautiful and spacious. The staff are welcoming and do everything they can to make your move free from stress and pleasant. The meals are excellent and there are so many activities that there is certainly something for everyone. So if you are considering downsizing and would like to join a caring and active community, please take a tour of Cogir and meet the people who would love to have you join them.

I can’t say enough good things about Lotus and their staff. They truly care for each resident and it shows. Their quality off food is great, the views are beautiful, and they are full and busy with engaging activities. Their care truly makes you at ease. Thank you so much for all you do!

You can tell that the staff members enjoy their jobs and truly care for the residents. They are always so kind and welcoming! The building is beautiful and the residents seem to be happy. I would definitely recommend checking out The Seville if you are looking for Senior Living options.

Excellent restaurant with top notch food choices. The move in was excellent with a move in coordinator.

Staff was very friendly and caring and when my sister entered hospice care she was allowed to stay there until she died unlike the first facility where she was for the first 2 1/2 years of dementia care. My sister was in care for dementia for three years and was only at Beverly Lake her last six months. I don't have any negative feelings about the facility. However the first facility she was in was just awful.

We were looking for a place for our mom to reside where she could be surrounded by Japanese residents and be able to communicate in Japanese. Nikkei Gardens was the best choice for her. It was, admittedly, a long distance from where we live but the staff was so good about communicating with us that we felt at ease about our decision. She enjoyed the food and the activities that were provided. We received notifications of all the activities she was attending so we didn't have to worry whether she was getting out or not. She received very good care from the staff. They went out of their way to make her, and us, feel welcome. All-in-all it was a very good choice.

For years my Mom resisted moving to assisted living. If she had she would have easily doubled her enjoyment of the years she had at Nikkei. Being an Issei she really appreciated all the food and the variety of same, She participated in many activities, made lots of friends and even met people she knew and many that she knew through others. The 5 stars is well-deserved.

Our 88 year old mom had been living on her own and declining for some time. She had a bad fall which lead us to look for a safer living situation where she would be less isolated and looked after with care. We are so lucky - and grateful - to have found Nikkei. Our mom moved in about two months ago, and we could not have had a better transition and outcome. She is so much healthier, gained much need weight and strength, and enjoying herself so much. She now has a schedule and a sense of purpose (for meals, activities, saying hello to her neighbors and team - ikigai). I joke (but am serious!) that at 88 years, she is living her best life. From the very beginning and through every encounter with every person at Nikkei, we have been so impressed by the consistent professionalism, going above and beyond, friendliness, and a feeling that everyone cares. The facilities are well looked after and the services are great. We could not recommend Nikkei Senior Gardens more highly.

My aunt has been treated with friendliness and kindness during her stay at Nikkei Senior Gardens. The staff allows her freedom to plan her day but also reminds her of activities and appointments that she may forget. Her necessary medication is monitored and administered daily. Her studio room is spacious. There are also one-bedroom units available. The Japanese-American cultural environment shows itself in activities and in meals where a choice of Eastern style or Western style cuisine is offered. The lobby is bright, clean, and welcoming. The facility is very clean and well taken care of. My aunt walks her small dog in the Japanese-style garden and among the citrus and other fruit trees in the planting garden. I highly recommend NSG if you are looking for such an environment for your loved one.

From what we have observed, Avavmere Cascadia has an excellent CNA and care caregiver staff. All the ones we’ve met seem to really care about the tenants. [Name removed] a CNA even takes care of one lady‘s hair always making it cute. The kitchen staff with lead server [name removed] are all friendly and efficient. The meals always look good. [Name removed] was very professional during our orientation and continues to resolve issues. [Name removed] keeps the social life going and always decorating on the holidays. We knew as a family that Nikkei Senior Gardens was the right place for my mother as soon as we saw how happy the staff and the residents were there. They have an awesome management team, a super caring, and amazing team of nurses and caregivers. We appreciate how much they communicate with us and how well they help care for my mother. It is reassuring to know she is in good hands. She has made friends and enjoys participating in the facility's activities. The food is also really good! We had a taste of their cooking a few times and we were not disappointed.
