Cogir Senior Living

This is the best kept secret in Roseburg so no I don't want to tell anybody about it.. lol. But seriously, for someone who does not need assisted living this Independent living facility is awesome! So many activities, so many chances to meet others and do things together, very close to Roseburg and shopping they have side trips they have transportation there are stores you can walk to. They have movies and games and activities. You can walk to the Roseburg theater next door. The management is always there to help with any specific needs, but it's really for independent people who just don't want to live in their own home anymore!

It's a very clean facility. Food is very good. Friendly staff. Friendly residence.

We chose Andara because they emphasize on care & activity engagement. We were able to Sample a meal as well during our tour, and was very Impressed I think my loved-one will be content at Andara.

Marvelous Staff. The food is wonderful, especially after the food I had been eating. I am looking forward to singing in the choir. The fact that Cogir has a Professional music therapist is why I came.

The staff with which I interact on a daily basis is great! I am in independent living and my apartment is cleaned weekly. Because I am independent living, although certainly there is need to have a contact person, there has been no need for the facility to exercise that "need" in the year I have been here. The meals are good. Portions are good. Certainly there are times/items that are not quite what I wanted/expected, there has be no situation where I have returned a meal nor filed a complaint. This was the first place that my family and I visited and we concluded there was no reason to go further. I would recommend The Virginian to others.

The Seville is very nice. I attended the Mother’s Day luncheon last year, and it was beautiful. The dining room was decorated so nicely and the food was delicious! They had salmon as a Mother’s Day special, which was cooked and seasoned perfectly.

The food varies between three and a half to four. Cogir is very well managed and maintained. They go out of their way to make the residents comfortable. Very positive. Nothing is perfect, but it's better than I thought living in a seniors community would be. The facility is clean and spacious with lots of light. Numerous activities. The staff is helpful and friendly. The food is good, but could be improved,

Nikkei Senior Gardens is an absolutely lovely facility! My mother is so happy to be staying at such a nice, peaceful place where the entire staff is very friendly, enthusiastic and always eager to help. As a physician who has cared for many elderly patients, I knew the importance of finding a place that provided a clean and safe environment with an attentive staff and that would provide the much needed socialization. My mother fairly easily transitioned to her new living situation in early 2023 thanks to the staff who reassured, encouraged and befriended her. She enjoys the food and the companionship of the other residents, participates in many activities and loves strolling in the beautiful gardens. Having her there allows me peace of mind knowing that she is comfortable, happy, engaged and safe.

Concerning the healthcare, they do not provide transportation outside of mint Hill and Matthews. This has made it difficult for my mother, because most of her doctors are in the Myers Park area and too far for them to drive her. Also, when my father was in memory care, it was very difficult for him to communicate with the staff in the fact that he needed more help than he was getting. He had a tendency to fall because he couldn't remember that he couldn't walk. He continued to fall out of bed and out of his wheelchair. We Had to place him into a skilled nursing facility pretty quickly.

Very friendly and attentive to residents needs. Great activities and staff.

Initially, I contacted A Place for Mom to help me search out a few Memory Care facilities in a specific city. But they were SO much more! Their staff person quickly gave me a list of 5 facilities. It listed many more details than what I could have found with an internet search. From that list of 5, I visited 2 of them and decided on 1- within just a few weeks of my initial inquiry. Then, we moved Mom just a couple of weeks later. We felt fortunate to find a new facility where Memory Care apartments had an option of a 1-bedroom or a Studio. They also "specialize" in caring for people with Dementia. We experienced some challenges with moving Mom, and the APFM staff person offered up some suggestions and resources. It worked well. Thank you.

The staff were responsive, kind and thoughtful. My mom specific needs at the time where that she had a dog and I don't really like a beautiful facility that was brand new and just really lovely, but they really offered full options of care including help with dog care and that was important to us.

Hi- [name removed] here, I'm a Resident at Ocean Ridge currently and have been for nearly 5 years. My Mother [name removed] was a former Resident as was my Wife [name removed] at Bayside Terrace, their other Community, and I was impressed how well they were taken care of, In all respects. My health has actually improved since I've been here, due to the good Medical , good food, with variety, on a regular basis. One thing they are VERY GOOD at is Staffing, all the Med Tech and Caregivers with rare exceptions are exceptionally friendly, ready to help you with your cares in a confidential, relaxed manner. However, I'm a Man, one of few here and while there is nice Music brought in from outside, the Activities are designed for Woman. What we desperately need here is A POOL TABLE! They say nobody would use it basically, but that's nonsense, I'd be on it everyday and encouraging others. I've written Administration, but no response. Will update if we get one, then it will be perfect! Or Ping-Pong?? Many Want!

I am writing this review for my Cousin who has been at Studio Royale about 4 1/2 years now. My Cousin had been in intensive care at Cedars for about two weeks and when she was ready to be discharged, she was no longer able to live alone and needed to go to assisted living. My Wife and I went to A Place For Mom and they provide us with about 6 Assisted living facilities to check out. By some act of God we chose Studio as are first place to review. When we walked into the lobby and had our tour, we knew immediately that we did not need to look anymore. My Cousin has had the most incredible and wonderful 4 1/2 years of her entire life. The kindness, care, entertainment, and fabulous food has been amazing. She would call us every week to go over the menus. [name removed] who is the manager and head of Studio Royale is a true God Send. The entire staff is amazing, including [name removed], the front desk and many others . We give Studio Royale a 1,000 rating.

The only way to go. Professional, fast and great results. They're knowledgeable, communicative and effective. Welcoming and helpful. Great amenities.

We had searched for a nice place that our parents could move into when they decided they no longer wanted to live at home. All we kids live in other states, but they wanted to stay in Orem. We set up tours of several places and the Saville far surpassed the other places we say. The staff were so friendly and the residents had only good things to say. My folks are delighted and have made a lot of new friends.

The staff is wonderful to be around. The food is great, the other residents are welcoming and fun to be around. The activities are fun to watch and participate in. The place is clean and the renovations look really awesome.

The staff at all levels were very engaged, helpful, and genuinely care for the residents. The property is well cared for and the environment is welcoming. My least liked aspect pertained to communications about medication management, I just needed more details at times. Cogir is a lovely facility with caring staff who understand aging adults and make efforts to keep them comfortable and safe.

I would definitely recommend friends to Cogir of Stock Ranch. My Mom and our family have had a very positive experience with her living arrangements. The staff is upbeat, and she's receiving very good care.
