Cogir Senior Living

I would rate Cogir of Bothell as a 5 for each category. The facility feels homey, it's comfortable and clean. The staff are friendly and open to talking to you about any issues/concerns you might have. It's clear they don't do this for the money and care about the residents.

My loved one is currently a resident at Cadence at Rancho Cucamonga and everything has been great. The staff is very caring ,kind, and helpful. The activities are well-planned and varied. And my husband likes the food! I would recommend this facility to others.

I am currently a resident at Holiday Harvard Park Retirement and everything about my experience here has been great so far. The staff are great. The cleanliness and friendliness are great. The meals are great, though they seem to have trouble at times with getting the food out. I would recommend this facility to others.

I placed my Aunt at Clearwater Springs for a 30 day respite care. They were very accommodating, made her feel very welcome. I was hoping she would be open to stay permanently. She loves people and there were a lot of very nice folks there. However, she was only able to stay about 2 weeks. Her dementia was further along that we thought and she was an exit risk. Beings that this is assisted living, they do not have locked doors. They can come and go as they please - for the most part. The staff was great. Management was great. I learned a lot and had no real complaints regarding her care. Improvement advice would be to be sure and go over the medication process. Yes it is all in the book, but who reads that whole document? We struggled nearly the whole 2 weeks getting her meds straight. I would also recommend talking to the residents regarding the food. My aunt was diabetic and was retaining fluids horrible - gained about 10 pounds while she was there. She was at her new place for 1 week and all of it was gone - so I think the meals need to be more catered to the residents with medical restrictions. Otherwise, everything was very nice. I would recommend this facility to others.

Mom is happy after moving there after living in the house with my dad for 47 years. Dad passed away in December. Mom didn't want to do anything. She's now going to the dining hall and has even gone to a couple of social functions in the last couple weeks. Drastic change for her moods. The 1 bedroom is easily large enough for 1 person, plenty of belongings and room to move around without feeling cramped.

My wife is currently a resident at Cogir of Northgate MC and most everything has been great for her. I love Cogir and so does my wife. However, her cost for care has gone up over 30% in one year. I'm paying almost $[removed] a year now.

My stepdad lives at Edmonds Landing and he is very happy. Everyone is so very friendly here and you always feel welcome that you came to visit. [name removed] is amazing with all the events she plans for Edmonds Landing. She includes the community in the events, which brings all the neighbors in to participate with the residents. So some day I plan to live here and I hope [name removed] and staff are still here!

I was looking for a place for my mom. I want her to live closer to me. I met with [name removed]. She was so warm and welcoming I felt right at home. She introduced me to the staff and they were also amazing.

Great facility. Wonderful, caring staff. Welcoming community. It was just the perfect size for my dad. Others might like bigger or fancier, but this was the best match for us.

Our family has had three cousins reside at Ocean Ridge over a total of four years. We were pleased with the beautiful grounds on each visit as the private, lovely wooded location near the Southern Oregon coast’s main clinics and hospital cannot be beat. The light inside the community is bright, with large windows, high ceilings and spacious bathrooms adding to the comfort and cheerfulness, as well as a perfect grand dining room overlooking the landscaped backyard and roomy patio. All of these features point to why Ocean Ridge is consistently voted the best assisted living on the Southwestern Oregon coast. The natural and architectural beauty of the community helps promote well-being for seniors.

I knew from the moment I walked into the lobby that I had found the place for my 92-year-old mother. The facility is exceptional and very well maintained. The staff could not be more friendly and professional. I have no reason to worry about my mother because the facility is secured and my mother has access to assistance 24/7. I have no reservations about recommending Cogir of Vallejo Hills to anyone.

Everyday is a friendly day ! Amazing Staff and super confident in their skills . Mom is at home and comfortable and enjoying activities and the many places to enjoy the outdoors and relax . Thankful !

I was there last month at a luncheon by the was it was super fabulously Yumm. Greeted with smiles from staff & residents. I was taken by representative [name removed] he took me on tour of Cogir as l was looking for my parents unfortunately it’s more than they could afford. [name removed] gave me a thorough trip from beginning to ending answering All my questions, & l had a lot.lol . His professional caring, relaxed, charming manner made it easy. I met very happy residents and the place is clean decorated nicely. Just wanted to take the time to say something nice. Thank you& blessings to you all.

It's the nicest place we found in town. it's new, clean, well run and so many amenities! the only comparable place was $400 more a month and felt a little run down... we would highly recommend Cadence.The $[removed] a month places felt like nursing homes - for $[removed] month more it's leaps and bounds better.

My mom moved to Cogir of Vallejo Hills Senior Living early this year. I can’t emphasize enough how comfortable she feels in her new home. She is well cared for by the attentive, friendly staff. My mom is finally able to be back in the present and revisit passions like painting, something she was not able to prioritize when she lived independently. My mom enjoys the feeling of community at Cogir. Everyone is kind and welcoming, there are opportunities to sing, dance, stretch, go on excursions, and above all, connect with others. The social engagement here is fundamental to maintaining my mom’s mental health as she grows older. My mom loves hanging with her “breakfast crew.” It's great for her to not have to worry about cooking or cleaning. I feel so relieved that my mom has landed here. I have full trust in the people who keep Cogir going and helped make her transition here seamless. The staff cares about its residents and makes families like ours feel confident in our decision.

“Where The Heart Is” says it all! A caring staff and a home-like environment make this place the perfect option for someone who needs care and companionship. The support and care they provide is vital for their residents and the families of those who rely upon them.

Everyone is here very caring. One of the Caregivers noticed something about my health and suggested I be seen & thank goodness it could've turned into full blown sepsis. She saved my life. Excellent care. Thank you

I am living at Vineyard Place and it is wonderful. The staff did everything possible to accommodate my needs to reside here and the staff, all the staff continues to shine! They appear to truly care about us and do everything possible to meet our needs/wants; always friendly and cheerful. A full remodel that is almost done makes our place appear almost new. Rooms and common space were all done. Meals are wonderful andextremely well prepared. A place for mom assisyed me in finding this facility snd I am very thankful it is a great place and for a plus is near about every convenience.

The comparison to Merrill Gardens is just beyond amazing. The staff, willingness and just all around has been amazing. My stepdad is so happy. My only thing if any would be cleaning and vacuuming a little better.
