Cogir Senior Living

The staff has been great! The level of care and concern and help the office manager with dealing with long-term care insurance has been great! I'd give 5 on all categories except a 4 on cleanliness (at times the odor is strong but not always). The staff are always helpful, friendly, and kind...and so patient!

My husband and I have been at Cogir for 6 months now. We are so glad we came here. All of the people that work here are so friendly and caring. They know your name and greet you with a smile. The building is clean and cared for, the food is good and I don't have to cook anymore or wash the dishes after. The people that live here are friendly too. It is just a very nice place to be and feel welcome and safe.

My mother, due to a fall and 98 yr old age needed and assisted living facility. After touring 10, I found Cogir in Citrus Heights. Clean, nice staff responsive. Very pleased with her care and would highly recommend.

Everything is a 5 except for activities. There has been no activity director and no activities for most of the year. For someone like my mother, that ruins the place because she says she just sits alone in her room all day. She has bad eyesight and can't drive so onsite activities is a critical component of her well being. The staff are great. Very patient and understanding with my mom who really struggled having to leave the independence of her own apartment.

Almost everything about Harvard Square is wonderful! Friendly and attentive staff, fun, friendly, and interactive residents, lots of activities, and a clean, homey atmosphere. The only thing that could stand improvement are the quality and quantity of the meals and the speed of service. I highly recommend Harvard Square.

[name removed] the marketing director was of great help. He is very professional and helpful. He truly cares about all the residents. Glad to know people really care and it shows he loves his job. He firs above and beyond his job duties I am sure A true loving soul. Refreshing to see this dedication.

I would rate them a 5 for all categories. It is very expensive, but I am sure there are more expensive places out there and the provide a valuable service. The facility is kept clean, neat and tidy. They are always cleaning. Staff is friendly and willing to help with any wish that I have. Always plenty of staff available. Management very knowledgeable and always willing to talk to you concerning whatever issue you have.

In my visit for a friend, I watched the chair exercise class. What a reassuring leader. Everyone was smiling. I also like how clean the dining room is. Linen table cloths and pretty chairs. This is the Cogir that is near Friedmans in Sonoma.

I had the opportunity to visit this community with my father during their classic car show on [date removed], and it was so much fun! They had an outdoor BBQ with burgers and dogs which were delicious, and a line of classic cars, mostly from the 50's. The main building seemed very well taken care of and clean. We talked to many of the residents who seemed very eager to chat and all very pleasant. Based off this experience, we are strongly considering this community for dad. I believe he would be very happy there and be able to make many friends. The good food was a plus!

The staff at Cedar Village Memory Care has been very professional, patient and supportive of [name removed]. His transition has been difficult. Overall everything is as expected. His room is comfortable, food is good and the routines are appropriate and orderly. The compassionate care received from staff stands out as most important.

I'd recommend Cogir at Mill Creek for seniors. They go out of the way to meet your needs. The apartment are roomy. Cleaned weekly, bedding is changed and laundered along with bathroom towels. There is a swimming pool and fitness room w/Heath Fitness Specialist; Off-leash-park. Activities are available all day long with movies every night. To mention a few; water exercise, Name That Tune, Choir Bell Choir; Sip and Paint Scenic ride, church, lectures, bingo, happy hour. They celebrate monthly birthdays and d Honor-Wall for veterans. Menu-Meals, special-of -the-day or A-LaCarte w/salad and fruit bar. The meals are at the 3-star restaurant level. A good and healthily menu

Everything thing excellent except one thing not listed. Couches need to be raised to at least 19 to 20 from floor.

I am here 2 yrs. I am very happy here everybody is very friendly. The staff is very friendly and caring. There is a lot of activities throughout the day. I have made a lot of friends.,

We toured the facility seeking a place that made sense for the next phase of my mother's life. The facility is in the middle of a remodel and currently not very 'pretty' on the outside but we can really see where the remodel is going and it will be very nice. The interior felt like a resort, especially the dining facility.

I thoroughly researched facilities for my handicapped Sister-in-Law. Cogir of Mill Creek was the best by far. She has been there for 3 months now. I can unequivocally state they continue to surpass all my expectations. Many facilities will say they genuinely care about their residents and their employees. Cogir demonstrates their commitment to excellence every day. Choosing Cogir was the best decision I could have made for her!

Everything was as promoted. It was great to be able to have his meals brought to his apartment when he didn't feel up to going to the dining room. The room is fantastic. He has really enjoyed it

Couldn't ask for better. My mother could be challenging at times - they were experts in winning her over.. The friendliness of the staff is a and the care services get a 5+. [name removed] , [name removed], [name removed]and [name removed]were perfect "1st impressions!" Excellent! Someone was always there, very attentive. With the activities there wasn't a lot of options, but probably sufficient for the number of residents. All day we would recommend them to other families. They were the best!

My father, who has cancer, rapidly went downhill and needed more care than we could provide at home. In addition, we were all moving out of state shortly, so didn't have a lot of options... luckily A Place for Mom helped us find Harvard Square, who had some respite apartments available. From going to see them, to when we had my dad moved in, was about 4 days! I was so impressed with how fast they were in accommodating us, as well as the care and comfort they provided him. They knew he'd only be staying with them a short time but treated him as they would any of their full-time residents, which is to say "amazing". Can't say enough good things about this facility, and their staff! Thank you!

What we like the most about Cogir of Glenwood Place is the nursing care and we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

Cogir is a wonderful community! The staff is caring and attentive; you can tell they really care about the people they serve. There is a fun range of activities that my mom loves. I wish we would have found this community for her years ago! I have such piece of mind knowing she is in a safe, clean, fun environment and all of her needs are met. Our family is known by name with the staff and we enjoy joining in on activities and meals when we are able. Exceptional!
