Cogir Senior Living

After touring many assisted living facilities with my parents we were continually faced with older and what I would say dismal apartments. Some of the common spaces were appealing but the units were beyond small, not bright and cheery. Many felt depressing and I wouldn't feel comfortable living there myself much less my parents. So when we came into Cogir of Vancouver it felt elegant and the apartment was bright, fresh and modern. It was also the only place we toured that did subscribe to meals at a certain time or assign you to the same table and same people each meal. Instead Cogir offers more of a restaurant feel, open times and sittings. The menu choices are great and with actual waiter help. The activities are great and plentiful. All the staff our great with special appreciation for [names removed] for overall operations and care of the residents.

Greated by happy smiles and warm welcome. Showed me several places so I could get a better idea of the floor plans and sizes. Liked the grounds. Lots of activities to do. Transportation is available for Dr appointments and shopping. Adventure trips to various places. Cafe serves a variety of food for people who have special diets. The residents seem happy.

We were made to feel right at home. Greeted with my mom's favorite cookies. Staff very helpful. Well kept environment. Size of the her space perfect. Clean all working appliances. Even an angle TV in place day of move in for a very comfortable home like environment. Director was hands on as well as sales staff. The nursing department very capable and on top of my mom's needs.

It's very nice here. All staff are very friendly and helpful. I've been here since [date removed]. The food is pretty good. They have made changes since I've moved here. Director is only on site every other week as she is also the director at [community removed]. Housekeeping is now every other week instead of weekly when I moved in. Other than that, it's very nice here.

All care givers, activity team members and front desk staff are so patient and caring. There is a 24 hour Med Tech to administer timely medications, which is so important. You can tell they use high quality food products. Studio apartment is large with nice balcony, bathroom and kitchen area(no stove). Weekly bus rides, house keeping and laundry service. Knowing there is 24/7 staffing makes it nice so family members can be away for longer periods of time. If additional personal care is needed, it is done and charged by service done. Cogir is only 10 minutes from family home. Interior is always clean and grounds maintained.

All I can tell you is I love it here I'm completely happy. The people are so great and friendly this was the best thing I Every did for myself. I'm 100%happy here and I would recommend Solista community to others

Facilities are very nice. Residents are friendly. We signed my Aunt up to move into Cadence. Excited for her to enjoy her time there.

We love Montecito. 5 stars on everything. Everyone is very professional and friendly. Food and service is great. Very accommodating! Very clean.

The staff are friendly and the place is very clean. The residents were active in several different activies. All in all I was impresssed.

5s across the board. Cogir has been a joy to work with. My mom's apartment was a one-bedroom, and just the size she needed. She loved it, and was so happy to be there. The staff was super caring, and we're invaluable in her day to day journey. When she passed, they were very supportive of my brother and me in getting her belongings moved out. Yes we would recommend Cogir of Broomfield to other families.

The staff was super accommodating and really helped because I was dealing with a difficult person who did not want to move. There were 3 things that convinced me that Gogir had really thought about the needs of seniors and none of those things had anything to do with activities. They were: 1. other than the secure memory care unit, all rooms were certified as both Independent and Assisted Living so that someone would not need to move if/when they needed more assistance; 2. The dinning room was open specific hours and people could come and eat anytime within those hours, there was no scheduled meal times so no rush or hordes of people wanting to eat at the same time; 3. They had a program for integrating new residents with current residents so no one would feel alone and was helped by peers to learn how to live and adjust to their new circumstances. The apartment size was pretty standard, as were the available activities, and the place was immaculately clean. But those 3 things were the definitely the deciding factor and Cogir was the only place that had them.

All a 5 everything has been amazing. I was hesitant on the cost at first but once we got them there I saw how much work they do and how involved and personable the staff was. It has been great

5 on all categories. The staff are very caring and professional. The food is excellent and you can have something to eat other than the scheduled meal hours. There is live music every week, usually twice, its always very good, and every day is filled with activities, word games, exercise programs, documentaries and movies every day. Outings and trips to the grocery store are offered. The grounds are well maintained, lots of roses, other flowers and trees. Pets are allowed for the residents. My husband's room is a studio and is roomy enough, he is happy at Cogir.

Seems like a lovely place. Enjoyed the tour very much and [name removed] is an absolute marvel in her role there.

Cogir @ Morrison Ranch! What a beautiful serene facility! Love the lake and neighborhood. The staff are absolutely lovely. What a wonderful place.

Looking for my dad and this place is perfect! Great location, people were nice and the nurse was knowledgeable and answered my questions.

My experiences were great I met when [name removed] the relations director she explained everything and answered all my questions and gave me a tour. [name removed] is the health and wellness and she is very involved in my husband's care. They have really fun activities. I think the food is good they meet all requirements. My husband's room is a studio and is adequate for him. They keep it very clean. They staff checks on him all the time to make sure he is doing ok. Glad I made the choice to send him to Lotus Park

The first time I toured the community, I knew it was different. Located in a tree lined street, lakeside, I saw people walking, fishing and riding bikes along the paths. The concierge was warm and friendly. The residents that I spoke to said they were happy living there. The food was good and plenty of activities to keep them busy. [name removed] gave me a great tour and introduced me to the staff and they were knowledgeable, kind and friendly. I would definitely recommend Morrison Ranch!

The move in was rushed on our part, as my mom had just passed and we needed to move my brother quickly. Cogir was very accommodating and helped with all the move in paperwork. The apartment is perfect for my brother, size-wise...living and bedroom space are both very comfortable. The staff are very caring and have been supportive and helpful in getting my brother settled. They have an excellent chef who provides very good meals. So far, we are very pleased with Cogir of North Bay!
