There was an initial mixup, them thinking my Mom was coming and placed signage (nice touch) welcoming her. As this was an initial "touch base" meeting, I'd opted to not bring Mom just yet. Not a huge issue, but... The tour itself was very insightful and [Name removed] was very nice in explaining all the amenities and services that would come with residency. I had another tour appt, and [Name removed] understood that, so we didn't dawdle through the tour, yet hit all the social rooms and saw all the things we needed to see.

The food is very good. The staff are wonderful. Upkeep of the building and grounds is excellent. Price is high but I think it's in the ballpark with others.

Tour went very well. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. My mom and I got a genuine feeling of kindness and "family" as we visited. The actual residence we met on the tour seemed very connected with the staff (lots of smiles and hugs). Overall it was a great experience.

Cogir was top notch! Great staff, great facility and grounds. Particularly liked the dining room. Cogir has many activities and tours for the residents, and facility is decorated for every holiday. I would hope to become a resident at Cogir when my time comes!

Staff is wonderful and kind. Rooms are all remodeled and nice. My mom has a cute apt with kitchenette, large bathroom, long closet, sitting area, and small patio. The exterior could use some updating as it looks old but the interior is lovely. But it's the staff that really stands out.

The place is beautiful...wonderful services and activities and really nice corner unit. Brittany did a wonderful job showing us around and explaining the amenities and really made the decision easy. She made some really great concessions too which made it even easier.

We had a good tour with Niki and appreciated the family atmosphere at Cogir of Edmonds. We appreciated that there are levels of care available at this facility and that all of the staff seemed to welcome visitors. We have not looked at enough care options to comment on the value for cost.

The staff here is what makes all tth difference. [Name Removed] is an amazing individual who cares about your family member and treats them like her own as do much of the staff. care activities are so well geared to the population. They bring people together and create an atmosphere for fun and socializing with each other. The food is good, but in addition, they go out of their way to meet specific likes with peoples food relationships. The facility is always clean. The rooms and common areas are well maintained and cleaned regularly. Mom's apartment was a good size for her. SHe had her own space and was able to have many of her treasured items with her--including an electric fireplace. She formed so many wonderful relationships there and most of them were with the caring staff members.

Excellent place , lovely accommodations, gardening offered to residents along with many other outings and activities. Wonderful food with many choice s .Beautiful decor and grounds, very welcoming. Unfortunately for us it is beyond our budget.

My mother says food was better when she first got there but I'm not sure . Try to explain to your loved one that the sliding door is not for them to walk outside. The rose garden is lovely. Hard for them to see everyone come and go but they may feel trapped.

My mom enjoyed her stay. The residents and staff are friendly and welcoming. The apartments are clean and well lit. Having laundry facilities on premises allowed her some independence.

Had lived there for 6 years, five years ago. Very impressed now with renovation to interior and exterior grounds. New paint, carpet, appliances, furniture in dining room and throughout. New management and staff is superior. Had moved to be closer to family.

Cogir of Sonoma was a wonderful place for anyone for their retirement.The dining room offered many choices of delicious dishes and a lovely ambiance.My husband was impressed by the raised gardens which offered a space for his favorite activity.I personally liked the activity rooms and the decor.A first class choice for retirement.

Care, staff accountability, social activities, caring staff - amazing Apt size is accommodating for her needs.

They really thought through things other facilities hadn’t planned for. For example, all suites were certified for both independent and assisted living so that residents would not have to move as they needed more help. In other facilities the residents were required to move just when they had deteriorated more, which seems crazy to me. They also had “ambassador” groups of current residents who would meet and guide new residents for several weeks as needed. So no one was left to feel deserted in a new place. And finally, meal times were flexible and breakfast was served all day, so no one had to miss a meal because of their timing.

Cogir is a beautiful place, new, clean and promised updated communication, various activities for memory care residents and healthy food. Most important was a still active group of residents that would enhance our sisters life and help her stay active socially, physically, and mentally.

We absolutely love it here! I would tell others just to be patient. This process can sometimes take close to a year!

It was very well organized and everyone was friendly. We had lunch which was very good and plenty of food.
