They were very friendly and knowledgeable. Even though my dad could not participate in the activities, they made sure he was with the other residents. He was only there for a week while he was dying so I don't have a lot of experiences to share.

When we began looking for a special place for mom, we were clueless, confused, and scared, and realized quickly that relocating a loved one uncovers many emotions. After touring various senior living facilities, my siblings and I could not come to a consensus on any of them that would work for mom. A good friend of ours recommended solista of durham, so we decided to give it a shot. From the moment we walked in, everyone instantly agreed this was the perfect place. The positive atmosphere and friendly Smiles instantly made mom feel at home. The tour was wonderful and the director of sales answered all our questions and took all the time needed for us to make this decision. I can honestly say that after visiting other places; this is hands down the best choice that could ever be made for mom! We all highly recommend them!

Staff at all levels were helpful and caring and went beyond expectations. My mother arrived while in hospice and the Cogir staff were the ones who were most helpful to my mother and our family. The Kirkland location was great except the walking route to nearby parks and services is challenging for those with mobility issues.

The activities were great, the food was pretty good most of the time, sometimes unexpected compared to the menue. Kitchen staff was great because they tried to work within the parameters of my restricted diet. Not always perfectly but I don't follow my restrictions all the time either. The cleaning staff did a fine job but I'm very picky and would have scrubbed around the edges near the walls a little better. I give your facility a thumbs up and would recommend it to others.

If you are thinking about moving in. Don't hesitate. I've received excellent assistance and refreshing kindness. The activities are varied and numerous. Everyone on the staff goes out of their way to help.

We have been really happy with Acoya Shea. The facility is beautiful! Everyone is friendly. There are lots of activities for those who enjoy keeping active. My mom participates in the 2x's week exercise session & it's really helpful for her Parkinson's. Both her & dad love to walk the long hallways to get in their steps & the artwork along the way is so pretty. Meals are delicious & having daily specials is a plus. Dawn, the director, is very competent, accommodating, & always available. We've noticed they've experience turn over with various positions & when it entails care giving aides, that's not easy on my parents. They don't like change ??. We use to be in healthcare ourselves so totally understand the difficulty in finding & keeping good help so we sympathize. Despite that, our positives WAY outweigh the few negatives & we would highly recommend this community to others.

Though we ended our experience much much sooner than we expected, they were kind and helpful and accommodating. Would recommend for the ease, the food, the answering of too many questions- always with a smile

It is like a big family at The Virginian. My dad is involved in many activities and enjoys the residents he had met. At 94 years young he is very happy with his new chapter of life. It has been a true blessing to our family. One thing I would like to add. We love to use the library when we come and dad's grandchildren, and great grandchildren come. I would like to inquire about starting a children's section in the library.

The minute my brother walked into the facility, he said, "This is home." They were very helpful and always greeted me when I entered the facility.

The facility is great, spacious hallways and well maintained. I love my one bedroom apartment, lots of space, good floor plan, the gas fireplace is cool. The amenities, gym, pool and theater are great. More activities than you can imagine. The staff are fantastic, helpful and the ones I see regularly (food service and house keeping) are my friends! The food is great with good variety.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Mom loves it or definitely would recommend is fine. We already do recommend it and have also suggested to use a place for mom to help locate the right place for their loved one.

The residents and the staff are all very friendly and welcoming. Yes, I would recommend Solista Newberg by Cogir to other families based on our experience. It's located in a good community, close to medical services and shopping.

Everything from the overall experience, the cleanliness, the friendliness, the quality of the care provided by the staff as well as the meals that are prepared and the activities that are offered and even the value for cost has been excellent. I would recommend this community to other families based on the experience!

The food has a wide variety to choose from and there are no cost for meals as there is in some place. The lighting in this building is fantastic. Each apartment is light and airy. The grounds are well maintained. There are plenty of social activities. Great staff. Secure building. Transportation Friday night social hour with entertainment.

I’ve found everything to be very acceptable for someone who needs this type of treatment. The staff seems to really be friendly and supportive. I would highly recommend it to anyone who can afford this type of care

My Issues are they have changed Directors twice within a year and new Activities Director. All residents very welcoming and warm! They increase rent every year. Overall I am pleased for my brother to be there and he has acclimated and making friends. One other issue is the bathrooms do not accommodate a wheelchair very well! It's tight fit..my brother requires a caregiver and then bathroom space very tight

I looked for 2 years for a new home for my husband and I. Cadence more than met are needs. Beautiful area, staff is wonderful ready to help with requests. We feel safe and proud to feel its our home.
