My mother never moved in here. We signed the contract and moved her furniture and set up her room and the day before she was to get out of rehab and move here the manager ran out in the parking lot to tell me that she could not move because the executives in the Corporate Office felt she would go "downhill fast in the next couple of months" due to her neuromuscular disease. I was totally blown away! Then the manager, John, said that it was his fault as he had said she was on Hospice. She is on Palliative Care to have help with her disease but she is very vital and mentally active and gets around to all her meals with her walker. After saying a couple of times that it was his fault he gave me his personal phone number and told me to call him. I did the next day to ask if it was definite that she could not move and he never called me back and never told me that they officially declined her. I had to scramble to find a place for her and will owe the rehab for an additional 5 days at $250 a day while I found a place, moved out all her furniture from Carillon and moved it all into her new place. I asked if he would help me pay for her hospital bed to be moved a second time ($100 each time) and he said he would ask Corporate. Never heard another word from him. This place is not resident oriented. They are more concerned about bottom line and Corporate measurements. I am so glad my mom is NOT here now and I have her in a wonderful caring facility in Cary called Heartfields. The cost is exactly the same and the management, staff and everyone you encounter are nice and helpful and have smiles on their faces and are happy to be there and love their job. Not so at Carillon. Things happen for a reason and now that I am not having a nervous breakdown over the unprofessional and uncaring experience I had at this facility I have to write this review so no one else goes through the hell I did.

My mother was in the rehab facilities to recover from a fall. Pacific Regent did provide adequate care to her with a couple of exceptions: they did not schedule her follow-up doctor's appointment and did not change her sheets for 2 weeks. I was unable also to get my calls returned from the Social Worker or Head Nurse for 2 weeks. When I asked for the appointment to be made, it took another 2 weeks. I would not recommend this facility unless you are in the area to make personal trips to check on the progress of your loved one.

I recently had a tour at Royale, and I was shocked by the lack of professionalism in the building. The exterior looks new, but the interior is old and the rent is extremely high, with no parking available. The hallways smell like urine, and I know the girl [Name Removed] is doing her job by showing rooms that are organized and presentable. However, some rooms, like the “showroom,” are not so good. As I walked down the hallways, I could hear women speaking loudly and witnessed one of them laughing at a patient who needed help. The food looked a little off, and the dining room had an awful smell. Again, the rent is extremely high for a low-quality facility with a lack of professionalism from the staff. I strongly advise against putting your family here. It may look all good on the outside, but the constant laughter and profanity from the staff can be quite disturbing.

My family member lived at Cogir. Died there too. Horrible place. All of the money goes to corporate people and/or remodeling. There is 1 visitor parking space available. The staff is great but it’s horribly understaffed. Management changes frequently so if 1 promises you anything, it’s worthless. You pay more to have your food delivered to your door than it would cost for Uber Eats and may take hours to be delivered. Don’t leave your family member her unless they are fairly self mobile and can get out. It looks pretty, with gardens, etc. but the care is poor.

There has been considerable change in management and work staff in the last couple of years, which is a challenge to all. The overall cleanliness has gone downhill, even though they recently replaced the walkway carpeting. Some of the staff are nice and hardworking, but that is a rarity nowadays. Activities are not as plentiful compared to other facilities, or previously. Food quality has gone downhill too. Security is also an issue. The room sizes are adequate and the location of the facility is close to many restaurants, grocery stores, and is just next door to the city's senior center. A couple of years ago, this facility was one of the better facilities in the area. Not so nowadays.

Cogir at the Quarry is the worst memory care facility in the country. Horrible doctor and way under staffed.

Its all laid out in my review. The nursing staff was uncooperative and unprofessional. The sales rep had to be contacted multiple times just to receive the basic promised level of care.

It was a HORRIBLE experience. They should be sued for the way they treated my mom. I'm still contemplating whether to report them to the state unfortunately. Choose ANOTHER COMMUNITY!

Awful place really awful. Do not recommend leaving your loved ones here. My father was a resident here for 4 months before I moved him somewhere else. Horrible parking for visiting guests. Unfriendly residents and the building inside smells like a litter box. The lady at the front desk is completely useless. She is sweet but quite literally knows nothing about anything. I am not sure if she pretends not to know so that she doesn’t have to do anything or if she just needs more training. Even simple questions, she says that she doesn’t know and will not help you. The front desk should be knowledgeable about how things run and where things are. I kept asking them to fix the leak under my Dad’s sink and it never got fixed even though they kept reassuring me that it was fixed. I had to keep a bucket under the sink that I had to empty daily for his entire stay. Spend the extra money and go somewhere else in Manteca.

Everyone at Solista from staff members to some of the residents were very friendly and receptive.. The lunch was great!! [name removed] took us on a tour of the main building and then we looked at the studio and 1 bedroom apartments. [name removed] is very upbeat and informative and we did not feel pressured at any point We were sent home with a loaf of wonderful Zucchini bread and a pamplet containing all the pertinent information regarding the floor plans, prices, and information about their services and activities. I was very impressed Since then [name removed] has reached out to to invite us back for a follow up tour. I definitely will keep Solista in mind!!

The staff were unaware of us coming. They were not prepared with a gluten free meal and scrambled to come up with something. The director sat down with us before our tour and informed us that they do not provide gluten free meals, so we we did not take the tour.

Dirty facility. I watch the staff seat residents for lunch on filthy tables from breakfast. Dining area floors were still filthy with food from breakfast. My mom’s garbage was constantly full of Depends even though they said garbage should be emptied at each shift change. These were consistent issues not one off. I moved my mom out to a much better place.

The move-in experience was seamless and everyone was very helpful. I would recommend Cogir Queen Anne as a retirement venue. The location is superb, near to Seattle Center & the Space Needle. The neighborhood is walkable (even in the rain) and there are many eateries and a QFC supermarket nearby. The move-in experience was seamless and the staff very cordial.

I did not have a good experience there and would NOT recommend that facility. There was not effective communication between the facility and me. My mom's weight had gotten down to 92 without anyone letting me know.

Horrible experience. Took my husband out after 6 days due to lack of care. They will not refund money due to me. This is not the place for people who are immobile. Don't listen to the lies. May be better if the new owner changes the horrible management.

Unfortunately he wasn't able to eat but staff was willing to get anything he might eat. Unfortunately was mot able to particiapte in the activites. Only there shy of two weeks. Price was very good compared to others we looked into

Incredibly unsafe, especially for women. High staff turnover (5 directors, 3 head chefs, and 2 maintenance directors in the same 6 months, for example). Creative bookkeeping that overcharges monthly and keeps refunds to former residents. Management plays a lot of games and treats residents like children. There are a lot of new facilities close by that many longtime residents have fled to. Moldy, termite and roach-filled buildings.

This facility doesn't pay it contractors. Did work for them that they asked for then 2 months later, they decide they don't want to pay. Must be having some financial issues. Please do your due diligence when placing a loved one. You've been warned.

Been trying for weeks to get hot water working in my brother’s room. Keep being told it’s going to be done “today”. Yesterday (Friday) my sister stopped in and there was a piece of cardboard on the floor. Turns out he’d broken a glass and when he asked to get it cleaned up he was told there were no housekeepers working and he’d have to wait until Monday. She then asked multiple employees for a vacuum, none of them knew where to find one and none of them offered to assist in any way. I strongly recommend that you keep anyone you care about far away from this company. He has also been promised a Covid booster many times. He’s stuck there unfortunately because he is too ill to be moved unless it’s by ambulance. It’s just sad and awful and surely not even close to what he was sold

They have made rude comments to my loved one and I have overheard them being rude to the other guests
