The staff are wonderful and take very good care of my dad. I'm not sure about housekeeping.... I've only been there once where it was apparent that the apartment had been cleaned. I always sweep and mop every time I go over there! Communication with the family is okay, because I'm there every day I make sure he's doing okay. The move in process was okay... I was a little disappointed In their ambassador service. I didn't feel enough was done to get him involved in the beginning. He was pretty isolated where he was before, so needed extra encouragement to get involved! The food is just okay.... it's often too dry or tough for him to eat! Would I recommend the facility....probably. It's a nice place and he likes it there now! Everyone is so friendly on the staff and go out of their way for him!

Breakfast is amazing. The raisin toast and biscuits are my favorite. Bus driver is very kind and always here to help. Our activities are fun. We have a morning exercise class that is resident led with our director there. Some dietary restrictions some folks have and they dont always have options for them.

We've had a hard time getting what was advertised - such as daily trash emptied, linen service, 1-2 loads of laundry a week- basically all we're getting is medication 2 times a day I would not recommend them if someone needs real assistance- I have met with the Director to address this and not much has happened to get it corrected- Everyone has been very nice and my mom is happy with her location in the building- so we won't do anything currently

Our dad is a resident at Clearwater Springs Assisted Living. The care staff are friendly, but it can take upwards of 20-30 minutes for them to answer the call button and shower days are missed sometimes. As for the move in, we were told where his room was. No one welcomed our dad to the facility. After four hours, someone came to say hi. It took weeks to get keys. The housekeeping is good and comes on scheduled days. Management is responsive to concerns. We were charged for a higher level of care than what was received. It took 2-3 months to get it corrected. The facility is clean and the food is good. I would recommend the facility to others, but would suggest watching bills and to communicate issues with management.

Some good points. Some bad. Mom has gone long periods of time with no dusting done in her apartment. When I complained about it (twice) the front counter person wrote a note on scratch paper twice. Very slow to fix issue. Granted this was around Thanksgiving, but tenants should not suffer if paying for services. Hit and miss. Some could not care less. Some are helpful. Your ambulance service was extremely rude to my mother on the one occasion they were called and made my mother feel they were inconveniencing them. Unacceptable. I know they are not your employees, but when the front counter staff were told this, the response was "this isn't the first time we've heard this." Well....... fix it then. Again, if paying for services, we should expect them. The elderly are feeble and scared and don't need to be subjected to rude, undertrained first aid personnel. Your ambulance service is sub par and should be replaced immediately. Personally I have not eaten there but my mother recently complained that food is declining. I've heard several other tenants say the same. And why are the residence not allowed to exit their seats while they eat? They are not children and they pay to be here. This is very odd. They have to raise their hand to get anything? The provided meals is one of the main reasons we chose Holiday. Shouldn't the meals be excellent? Actually pretty pleased with offered activities. I see now why this is less expensive than most. When we were given a tour before signing we were told shuttle service would take residence anywhere in the city. Apparently this is not the case. Can you clarify? Because currently I feel we were lied to. Candidly, I'm currently looking for another place to live for her. Over all not too pleased. And now the rent is being raised I hear? . Nope. I'd rather pay more somewhere else and get better service. My mom is a 73 year old recent widow and deserves more

It was one of the smaller places without so many memory care residents. I prob would not recommend to others.

It was not enjoyable as a total experience for my Mother and me. It was probably more affected because of the lack of staffing and the use of " fill in " personnel which changed always . Weekends were horrendous in terms of the provision of care. Knowing what I know now and had experienced with Mom , I would not have her there as a resident. I selected this place because of its proximity to my home . The other places that I visited were unacceptable on many levels in terms of safety, sanitation and location.

My loved one was previously a resident at The Pines and overall the experience at this facility was just okay. However, my loved one did not receive very proactive support and there was insufficient holistic care for someone battling Parkinson's. There was also a fair amount of staff turnover, which did not help.

My dad's care increased. We are paying for increased care however not receiving quite the care that is stated in care plan. They are not trained for Alzheimer's or dementia care even though they informed us they could competently care for him. It's been a frustrating 5 months.

My overall experience is good.. A little slow to get things done when asked, but they do get done....Cleanliness seems to be very clean. When there's an outbreak of something, they closed down everything and sanitize...Friendly ness of staff.... They all are very nice...The quality of care is good also. Had an issue with my mom and they were right there...Now this is hearing from my mom and not from me because I don't know... She said for a chef he probably didn't graduate... Food is not the best.... It's either cold or it's overcooked or undercooked... She complains a lot about that.... The dining experience is good. She likes the school kids that come in and work...Activities...That's a big one! I know they try to do their best. But they are very, very unorganized.! Drive my mom crazy! I think the lady needs more help..? Just too much for 1 person to take care of an organize everything. Value for cost... For that price, I would expect a little more from the food and a little bit more of the activities since that what we were there for... Because that is what my mom really needed... She was happy at first but now she's not so much... A little I think is her but I think it could be a little more organized. And the food should be a little better..

Most of the residents are friendly. The staff is friendly and helpful. Musical entertainment has been cut. The food is passable.

Our family had an in person tour with Cadence at Garner and overall we were just not impressed with the person who we spoke with and who led the tour.

Working with sales, [name removed], was not a good experience. She seemed scattered and would give roundabout answers to our questions and was difficult to reach. We also came in with a definite budget, but she continually ignored it saying to me and my loved one many times "Oh, you can sell that beautiful house you told me about". Even after we stated that was not an option and please don't mention it again. Our last visit before signing, she had mentioned that she had an apartment with a view so she showed it to my loved one. She stated it was a little bit over the budget, but not much. My loved one liked it better than the previous one and wanted it. It was significantly over the budget, but at that time with the dementia and other issues if we had said no, it would have been a hard struggle not to. Even at the signing of the paper work she again mentioned selling the house and when asked if for financial reasons my loved had to downgrade later would we pay the $[removed]. Again no clear answer, well maybe no or yes, depending on circumstances. If we weren't desperate to place our loved one somewhere, I would have walked away. Interestingly, we later found out that there had been an apartment open on the same floor with a view of the garden instead of the street for less money.

An outside caregiver warned me that his health was failing way before staff did. I would not recommend this place to anyone. A patient escaped the facility one day when I was there.

We have been going through several adjustments to the move. Overall meeting all expectations and more. Mom has very few complaints: Lots of active remodeling of the interior facility causing inconvenience of services. The meals are lacking in taste and flavor. With the completion of remodeling and fully staffing a 9-10 is achievable.

My loved one was previously a resident at Holiday The Seville and the experience was okay. The staff was nice. The facility itself was kind of dingy. They did not replace the carpet in my loved one's room before he moved in. The carpet was gross. The food was not as good. There were a lot of residents that should have been in the Memory Care facility instead of this one.

My loved one who is a resident at Cogir of Folsom tells me he likes it there. I feel they are very short staffed and I also think there are limited people you can talk to when you see a problem with your loved ones care. The community is very nice especially where Cogir is located. I feel they could improve on communication with the family

Carmel Place was undergoing repairs and construction when we went to tour with them, so it was a bit crowded and hard to tell what it would be without it and all of the projects finished.

I toured with Cadence at Huntersville and I wasn't impressed with them. The facility is not secure enough, turn over was a lot, new management, people were over the top friendly, almost disingenuous . Maybe it was me. I began to compare everything with [facility name removed].

The renovations are way behind from what they represented during the sales presentation, food is disappointing. My father passed away while there and the assisted living staff took excellent care of him. He was only there for 30 days. I would absolutely still recommend The Virginian to others, The people here are wonderful. Just a tough time with all of the renovations.
