We moved mom out of there in March. They advertise their AL program for those with dementia. Yet they over medicated, didn't know how to handle common behavioral issues, no stop UTI's, didn't recognize when she needed urgent care etc. We felt very misled. They said with their program, mom would do well in AL and not need Memory Care if she didn't wander. As soon as she had behavioral problems they didn't want to deal with and short staffed, said she needed Memory Care. And of course they want double the $ for Memory Care. Felt like classic bait and switch.

We originally liked that they had all kinds of activities and outings. As soon as we signed up and moved I they started doing way way less activities and outings. When we ask for help to hang something in her room (included in fee to be there) they never have time. The food is awful. We don't have much good to stay about it other than the guests that stay there are lovely. This place went downhill after we found out they sold it to a new honor the month we moved my mom in.

I loved it at first but it got horrible. Then good for 4 months. Then worse than horrible. They couldn't keep managers or staff or anyone. My mom was in the hospital and then rehab. But when she was in the hospital Cadence wouldn't take her back because she was on oxygen. Mind you there were other pts on oxygen. I even spoke to the facility dr and she said it was a lie that they don't take oxygen pts. It was a horrible experience. I forgot to mention that the she went into the hospital, the er doctor yelled at me when I arrived because of how unkempt and dirty she was, no glasses or wig, dirty clothes that were not hers, flaky and dead skin, and she smelled. He was horrified to learn she lived at a facility.

My dad was previously a resident at The Terrace at Beverly Lake Memory Care and the overall experience was poor. We moved my dad out of the facility. Things were not going well due to high staff turnover rate and the lack of care. Money first, care last. No, I would not recommend The Terrace at Beverly Lake Memory Care to others.

Overall experience: - When I initially moved my mother into this facility, it was called the The Fountains at the Washington House. We were happy with the services, staff, food, and facilities. Since it has changed hands several times, we have become increasingly disappointed. Cleanliness - renovations have significantly disrupted everyday life, especially sharing the elevator with dirty construction workers and their trash. The facility has received a coat of paint, but areas like the elevator have scuffed-up wood panels and floor and sometimes come with a distinct smell. Friendliness of staff - not through any fault of the staff, but there has been a significant turnover of staff, and staff training is lacking. Staff demonstrates a lack of knowledge of procedures and how to perform helpful tasks like transferring a call to family members. Sometimes, the inability to perform a task can be interpreted as unhelpful. Quality of care - my mother performs her own injections but has no sharps containers to dispose of her needles. When this issue was presented to the clinic, their feedback was to dispose of it in the trash. Meals/Dining. Rating - my mother used to be able to enjoy a glass of wine with her lunch and dinner; in addition to the dining facilities, my mother also had access to a snack bar in the lower part of the building where hot food, sandwiches, soups, fruits, and beverages were available to her. Unfortunately, upon changing hands several times, this option was eliminated. Additionally, the quality of food being served declined, despite the fancy names given by the dining facility, which have become the source of jokes by the residents. Activities - there is NO space for activities.

The meals were a 5 except when witnessing executive director of Harvard Square serve steaming hot soup... that is a 1. They also only had 1 executive director for the memory care unit.

The staff at Inspira Arrowhead is fine, except for I find that the caregivers are less motivated and I mean the new ones. The nursing staff thinks that they're above being a caregiver and slough off a request for help most of the time. In the past, I suggested that when our activities are going on that a caregiver should be present so that the activity Director didn't have to stop what they're doing to help a resident with trying to get outside trying to go potty, etc.. suggested that they have music on in the section that doesn't have an activity going on just for the fact that it's a very subconscious thing for them. And I find that the CAREGIVER cable or desk that's in the middle of these sections is a terrible thing for them to have. They congregate they don't roam and see if anybody needs any help and you have to pry them away from the desk to help you out.

Management is horrible and rude! [name removed] (mgr) answer to everything is that's the way it has always been done. We were told my dad's apartment would be remodeled during the entire remodel process then after he moved in, they changed and said no it wouldn't be remodeled. The showers are horrible. You cannot roll a wheelchair inand they are small. I would not recommend this for anyone who has to get into the shower with a wheelchair. Takes 1 hour to get food for lunch and dinner. Horrible move from Texas facility to this one.

Today I went to visit my old friend in her new facility, Harvard Square. When I told the person at the front desk that I didn't know her room number or if she was in assisted living or memory care, he couldn't help me locate her. I repeated her name, spelled it many times, wrote it down, but he seemed unable to repeat it, other staff members were no help, and call to memory care shed no light. When I walked over to memory care, I had trouble gaining entry because there was no signage, no instructions; I also had trouble exiting the building. My friend looked clean and well dressed, her room tidy. But that doesn't make up for all the rest. not being able to locate a resident? zero stars.

Our family had an in person tour with Inspira Gateway and the facility was beautiful but the person who gave us the tour didn't seem very knowledgeable on their facility. They lacked a variety of activities and felt more like an extended stay hotel than a community. It may have been because it was so new they just hadn't gotten their feet on the ground but it was an immediate "no" as soon as we walked out of that tour.

My loved one lives at The Terrace at Beverly Lake Memory Care. I'm thinking about either negotiating down the rent or moving my loved one. It's ridiculous. We've been having problems left and right. I'm disappointed with the price and with the care The rooms are mostly dirty. Theft is a big problem. We had no idea that people steal so much and they didn't warn us. When we told them things are missing they're like yeah, people here "go shopping" a lot. Really? They should have told me. Most of my loved one's clothes are missing and other stuff is missing too. Their activity bus is still broken (since May), so many of the residents are stuck in the building all the time. Also, it smells like powerful fragrance trying to cover the smell of human waste in the commons area. Overall, I feel very stuck. I will NEVER recommend The Terrace at Beverly Lake Memory Care to anyone.

Much less impressive, once you get in. Serious issues with health related care of resident. The other residents, the food, the maintenence team and the concierge.

Harvard Square was definitely not a fit. The interior was very outdated and noisy. The memory care unit was in a separate building and was a very "cold" environment. Everything was drab and dark inside. My two siblings and I could not wait to get out of there. I don't normally give poor reviews on places but, honestly, I would not recommend that facility to anyone.

Sadly this is going downhill & is too expensive for too little. The facility is untidy - the staff is oblivious - the food is DISGUSTING - who are these "COOKS" -- released felons?? Too Bad terrible.

Unless they've changed they aren't good at communicating. As part of their apartment upgrades they shut the water off but didn't notify the residents. More than once my dad was in the shower when they shut the water off. They were very good about keeping the residents safe and had good protocols during the height of the pandemic (don't know how they are now that it's not an emergency).

I would not recommend Carmel Place. Carmel place apartments are nice but it is very poorly run. Sad! Food is also not good. Also hire a permanent receptionist who is always there with a smile on! Lighting in the cavernous halls would make things more welcoming. An orientation would be good, hooking up new folks with someone. Took over a month to find drink machine. Very disappointed overall. [name removed]is super nice.

Well, as soon as I indicated that I was not able to move into their facility, they became quite cold and were not at all communitive. In fact, if they had of reimbursed me, at least part of the deposit, I would have moved in, and if they had of remained at least friendly during the process, I am moved into an Astra location in Newburg add would certainly have reconsidered moving into when your place because of his location however, it is what it is

Clearwater Springs Assisted Living was not as friendly and appeared run down during our tour. This became more apparent after visiting another community in the area.

For the price, the food is ranges from acceptable to awful. If I relied on Vineyard food alone, my health would decline. Welltower is a huge corporation that bought Holiday Vineyard Place in 2022, but keeps that secret from the staff & residents. Atria manages it badly. The once homey, warm Vineyard Place is now being transformed into a cold hotel. Many long time residents are leaving. Seems Welltower only cares about $$. Personally, I don't know how the wonderful staff here keeps their smiles while serving us so well. They are amazing.

The overall cleanliness of the community is not bad at all, but there are just not enough consistent staff to gage the overall friendliness. There seems to be different rules changing everyday. The meals are inconsistent as well with residents being served cold meals at time due to equipment being out or dining being closed down.
