They could improve on communication between all of the different caregivers about individual patients idiosyncrasies. We found that we would communicate with one person and hope that our information and preferences would be disseminated to other caregivers but it didn't appear like they had a consistent way of disseminating that information. All the caregivers themselves were great. We weren't the biggest fans of the nursing coordinator at the time but she had lots on her plate. My mom ended up having a fall and was in the hospital for over a month and then the terrorists didn't want her back after that because they didn't feel they could give the care that she needed. We found an adult family care home, golf view, that has been great

As a medical professional, I would not recommend this facility as it was with the staff at the time my dad was living there. They need to Hire quality staff that has the education necessary to help. Have therapy on staff.

The food needs to be improved. They would benefit from more private rooms. They are friendly but no we would not recommend Cadence at Wake Forest to other families. We ended up moving my mother due to an issue she had with a roommate they could not resolve.

Staff, including caregivers are very friendly and attentive--when they have time. I rate this facility average because, sadly, overly busy staff is the norm in this industry. I believe my family is paying the average, or the expected amount for the extensive services my parent receives at Glenwood. This appears to be an excellent facility for folks who are more independent than my parent, or if your parent qualifies for and can afford memory care.

Atrium Village is not too good for memory care only residents, they could improve on meaningful care for Alzheimer's. Some staff truly caring, [name removed], med tech adopted him as her grand father a would make certain he was bathed and fed prior to dr. Appointments. Mainly staff ignored his obstnance, so if he did not want to eat bathe or participate, they ignored him. Needed more sensitivity to his needs for [fee removed] per month

I think the staff needs to give family members of residents a list of staff and what their titles are and jobs in the facility. I think there needs to be more checking on residents and how they are doing.

At the time I was there, a year ago, the apartments were being renewed and some construction on the exterior was being done. The building cleanliness was very well maintained at all times. There was significant and seemingly needless and constant staff turnover. Room cleaning, which was "scheduled" was random and frequently missed. Rules regarding open seating at meals were a joke, to the point I stopped eating in the cafeteria and prepared my own meals. One of the persons was allowed to "assume" the role of "mayor" of the facility. There was a nice library, the social service director maintained an active schedule of light exercise programs and games and entertainment. The meals I did eat were good. Most of the residents were friendly, if a bit clicking. Several machines in the laundry were out of service when I arrived or soon after I arrived and still out of service four months later. Many residents joked/commented regarding meetings involving the manager saying when they complained of something or asked for something he would say "I'll take it under advisement " and that is the last ever heard about it. I thought the Social Service Manager and the person recruiting new residents were excellent, I was not impressed with the rest of management at all. I found other arrangements after four months, I felt I was not comfortable there and the facility was not fulfilling what they had stated they would provide.

I find it disappointing that I have to be on top of the med techs to make sure they are giving her the correct meds, and I understood that staff would do behavioral support for her mental wellness as part of her care, since she is bipolar and agoraphobic. But, it doesn't seem that anyone drops by to visit her to provide that support. I was hoping that at least once a week someone would check in with her for an hour or so

Overall experience is fair. No complaints about the staff. When it was [facility removed] they food was tastier. After the change in ownership, the quality of the food went down. Very bland and cold. The activities director left right before my mother moved in. For several weeks there weren't any activities. Very slow. Because senior facilities are so expensive, this is a reasonable price place. She stayed for less than a year.Too boring. My mother is a very active 100 year old. She definitely doesn't sit all day and talk.

Mom felt at home here. She was independent until she needed a bit of help and only was helped with the needed task. They had lots of activity and very friendly residents that immediately stepped in to be her friend.

[name removed], the, for lack of a better phrase, 'sales guy' is awesome. He seems to truly care about the residents and their families, going out of his way to help with the adjustment to moving. I don't recall any of them by name, but all of the dining staff were friendly and helpful.

The food at multiple times tears found hair in the food. They need improvement in keeping the facility clean. Even the light fixtures on the outside was almost covered with webs & dust. They don't keep up with maintenance! Also I had to reclean my mother's apt, it wasn't cleaned thoroughly when the last tenant moved out

Head nurse was caustic. Too many sandwiches served along with many caloric cheap meals. Way too much money for care. I would not recommend them to others.

The friendliness of the staff depends on the person. With the care services, we created a plan that was not implemented. They did not have an activity director for the majority of our stay. Did not think cost was bad, but did not receive the care we paid for

Cogir Vallejo is clean and have several activities for the residents. Cogir charges a fee for every service. They are unable to fully accommodate diet for chronic GERD-gastric reflux.

The recent refresh definitely makes the place more inviting and comfortable. The activities for a healthy and engaged community are really lacking.

It’s older and not fancy like some other places but is good for someone who isn’t social. Staff seems to be nice. I hear there are activities but don’t know anything about them. My ex likes the food but if something needs to be fixed in his apartment he’s not happy, I like that he can be taken to doctor appointments and arrange to get his hair cut. It’s a good fit for him.

Management of Elance has changed during the last couple months. My comments are primarily based on my sister’s comments, who resides there and observations when I visited. My sister comments often of how slow it is to call for help and food trays that remain in the room for hours. During a visit in which we ate in dining room, the service was very slow. I finally seeked assistance. Actual medical care is fine and employee [name removed] is excellent.

Beautiful place and new. Lot of activities. Clients seem happier here. Large staff turn over. Staff and clients are nice enough. Care has been inconsistent and they do not return calls. This place is on the higher end cost for Mesa, which led me to believe the level of care would be better. I get that staffing these places is hard and the wages are low but the cost of keeping Family here is not a low cost.

[name removed] appreciates the staff & her interactions with the staff. Areas for improvement include dining issues (food undercooked, servers aren’t always prompt in bringing food to tables). Housekeeping not always completed. Meds are usually given on time, but not always. Princeton has not had a bus for taking residents out for activities for a very long time. No trips to grocery stores, etc. [name removed] gave me [name removed] this information that I could pass on. [name removed] is [name removed] sister in law who oversees her care.
