We kind of got messed up on the room we wanted and it's funny because I would say this was the only place I wanted mom to go because of the layout, it was better. Looking down, when you come down Pickett Rd., it looks like a hotel, the room we wanted was overlooking the pond, but the girl rented it out while we were deciding, but it probably wouldn't have made a lick of difference anyways.

It just seems like we didn't' get much understanding about the situation. It was just too much money and he only stayed there one month. It was on the 3rd that we put in his notice but since it wasn't on the first we had to pay for the whole next month that he wasn't there. We moved him out because he wanted to get out of there. He didn't like the people there. I think it was the other residents he didn't like. They were in the different frame of mind that he is - he's a loner. He just didn't mix. It was just a personality conflict - it wasn't their fault.

I do thing it's less expensive but I'm in Redland so when I go to my office in Modesto, the other community I was considering was more convenient for me to pick my parents up. This place is quite a ways off the freeway. I would dread having to go all the way to pick them up and I wouldn't go visit as often. The lady was very nice and very helpful. It's just that for me and my parents I felt the other location was better.

I liked it, but they didn't have a lock down, the staff seemed to be real nice and I liked the way it looked but it didn't have what he needed. It was nice and it was way more expensive, about 2,000 more than Sping Arbor

It's good. My mom flew the coupe with the other place because it was just a bed and board place and it wasn't secure enough for her. It was too easy for her to get out. Studio Royale it's more of an institutional situation with 50 people living there and they go more by rules and regulations. I think they're doing the best they can. They're really cheerful and very efficient.

These past two weeks it's been good, two days ago the med tech somehow didn't show up so the two floors didn't get medication until late. I asked them what happened and they said she didn't come in. They have a new girl, poor girl, Kimmy, they put everything on her. It's very clean, the food is good, they have lots of activities, they try their best. Last week they had an indian dance with indian food and they bring someone in to play the piano. He's at a level four plus they give him a little bit of a discount because he was in WWII plus he gets long term care so that helps.

My aunt was there when it was still Merrill Gardens and I really liked it she had to move because she couldn't be in independent living anymore. They were changing hands at the time and I know some people were not happy with that. I liked it. It was a small, intimate place.

My brother Jim and I really like the tour given to us. We were given very good information to how we can approach our mother's future in a care facility. Ther are steps we need to take before we can place her in a home.

They have one nurse but they have could use one more. Some insurance companies won't cover this community. I really like the amenities and what they have here. I really like the looks and smells of the community, it doesn't look or smells like an old people community. The rooms are very nice and spacious. The general location is very convenient for our family; it is right off the freeway and located in close proximity to restaurants and shopping plazas. They could use more parking but overall we are pleased with them.

Compared to a lot of places I saw with different style of rooms this one was very well priced. My mom goes to the y and its really really nice for her to be able to go out and do that. This place just felt right when I walked in the foor. I'm very comfortable with the staff and I'm very happy with them there. I have clients who are there also and they're also really happy. My next door neighbor is a nurse at a local hospital and when I told her where my mom was she said that a lot of patients go there and they're always very clean, very friendly and very nice.

I think it's like a sister community to The Woods At Holly Tree but it's older.

It was between this one and Sunrise. This one is all on one level and I liked that. They had a section for memory care. The only thing I would say I am a little bit concerned about is that all the memory care patients are kept together. I see why they do it but you have various degrees of memory loss interacting together and I think that would scare my mother. She is only in the beginning stages. Besides being all on one level, the other thing I liked about it was that it had a lot of available light coming through the building. The don't have pets. I asked them about that and they said it was a safety concern.

My father signed a long-term contract with Sunridge. We visited briefly and it looked nice and was within his budget. He can live independently there and it looked clean. I had a good sense about the people. I thought he staff were very nice and very sincere. It looked like a family affair. We met with someone who said they can bring in care services like home health. I think they have a nursing aid there as well. I am glad my father will be close so that we can visit him easily and that he will be able to be in independent living.

My 92-year-old mother has been a resident since 2010, and while she's not often happy with the idea of independent living (or aging), the staff and management of the Fountains invests a great deal of time seeing to her comfort and multitude of needs. This is especially nice for me, since I live out of state. The benefit of knowing mother's safe and cared for is a priceless commodity.

this is a possibility for independent living, I would still have to help with dressing and meds or hire someone to assist him. we will go back for a tour together and lunch when we return from our vacation

Part of Holiday Retirement communities. Independent ret. living like Oxmoor Lodge and Ponder Creek with same amenities. Warren said they give out cards for home health agencies and several residents use them for assisted care. They view this as aging in place. He says the residents are wonderful. Three meals served daily, he said they have a wonderful chef. They even provide toilet paper, linens and housekeeping. Three level building with free laundry facilities (two)on each floor. Currently have two, one bedroom 647 sq. foot aptss for $2,966 double occup., one, one-bedroom 600 sq. foot apt. for $2496 double occup. Two bedrooms, 2 baths are 900 sq. ft. for $3,488 double occup.

I toured the community looking for a place for my Father i was greeted promptly at the door by the receeptionist offered refreshments and the community relations gentleman was right out to greet me and I immediately felt welcome . He listened to my concerns and answered our questions and explained how they care for their residents and what sets them apart . Heexplained their activity program ,and then he toured thru the community and the resident s were in the activity room playing bingo and appeared happy . I am not quite ready to place my Father yet but when I do I am sure it will be at Blossom Creek

She visited and found the facilities to be very good. There are ground floor apartments suitable for wheel chairs.
