Cogir Senior Living

We've been disappointed in their communication to the family and we've never had a care meeting like they promised we would regularly but we've never pushed for it. Would Strongly recommend. I would also share that the location has been great for us given that she is in a wheelchair and it requires a transport to get her places but there's a large Target shopping center across the street and a crosswalk so we can take her out to eat or go shopping when the weather permits.

The staff was helpful and responsive and were honest about what they do and do not provide. There is always room for communication improvements but overall, I would recommend this facility to others

In our experience one of the big challenges for senior living facilities is staffing. Cogir of Kent is well-staffed and seems to treat staff members very well because there has been very little turnover so far amongst the management and/or care personnel. The facility is quite new and feels very spacious and upscale even though the cost is very much in line with others in the area.

The staff at Solista Bellevue is so kind and helpful. The new management is not as responsive and helpful though.

Emptying bathroom daily and phone numbers to reach after hours and periodically bathing to help prevent UTIs. Bathroom garbage used depends.

Only concern is staff turnover. Kind of high and affecting dining staff in particular. Also changed to less expensive food vendor, so quality of meals dropped a tad. Admin staff are great to work with. Maintenance staff are good to work with. Lots of issues initially, but all resolved.

My aunt has only been there for a short period of time. I would give all categories a rating of 4 with the exception of the staff, which I would rate a 5. Yes, I would recommend them to others and I have recommended to others.

[name removed] loved the care center and the patients and workers. We were pleased with the quality of care and the caregivers. No place is like being "home" and it takes time to adjust but we would recommend The Bellingham at Orchard Memory Care.

This has been a great place for my dad! He has made good friends and socializes everyday. There are plenty of planned activities and residents get together in the lovely common areas for games frequently. The food is good and in a nice environment. Apartments are modern and stylish. Staff has been great as well.

My mother needed a place to recover from a bad fall. She had been discharged from rehab, but was still needing 24 hr. Care. She liked the room and the food choices available. Initially she ate in her room, but eventually went to the dining room. Staff were good, with some wait times when my mom needed supports. She did not participate in activities, which were numerous. Unfortunately, she fell again and had to go to the hospital.

We’ve lived here two months. Our apartment is light and airy. We can control the temperature to our rooms. The menus are varied with four choices at each lunch and dinner. Staff is courteous. Activities are available.

I have found the staff to be friendly and attentive to the needs of my father. 1 person per room. 2 rooms per apartment. Space is adequate. One shared bathroom can be a problem. I would also like to say my dad for the most part enjoys his living arrangement

Cleanliness- they keep the place clean. No filth anywhere that I have seen. Typical older person smell associated with health issues. Friendliness of staff- always been very friendly Quality of care -no complaints from my mom. When she did need assistance with the shower at first, they were timely and helpful. She is independent now so does not utilize assistance. Meals/dining - she says the meals are ok. They have been through a few head chefs. Typically run out of deserts so everyone does not always get some. Activities - they have mixers, movie nights, trivia, outside entertainment (music, arts, etc) come in at times. Value for Cost -the price is pretty good for the quality of the staff and facility.

It is not perfect here but it has nice and fairly clean common areas. Meals/dinning tasty and colorful, especially the Special Brunch Celebrations! Great! Activities are ok, having a raised garden this year was a truly nice responsibility. Not difficult. Fun. We will be decorating for fall very soon. Overall, it has been fun and reasonably smooth sailing with room for improvement. I would recommend this lifestyle to both independent and team players. I am happy here.

My mom needed a safe and secure place to live her last days with her progressing dementia. I was unable to give her everything needed at my home. My search led me to Cedar Village. They were kind, patient, and understanding during the move in process. It’s a beautiful community and the memory care is just right for her. The staff are friendly and my mom calls them her friends. Although she is still adjusting to being away from her home, she seems comfortable there and has a routine. She is free to be herself and does not have to worry about a thing. I would recommend Cedar Village.

Since my loved one (my cousin) is living independently, I don’t interact with staff much at all. When I do, they are friendly and willing to help. My cousin say food is ok and chef is trying to introduce more plant-based recipes per his request. I can say the intake process was smooth, I love the fresh floral arrangements everywhere, am hopeful they will spruce up the common areas as they are a tad tired.

Cogir is an inviting community with great staff that always go above and beyond for us here at Cogir.

It's a good place to live if you can afford it. We picked this community because of lower prices.

Positive; food is excellent, lots of activities many games activities are not of interest but they satisfy many residents.

The property at the Cogir of Vista Terrace is limited for activities. There is nowhere to meet and greet outside. There is also not enough variety on the food menu.
