[name removed] provided a descriptive explanation of the facility. She answered all my concerns and questions about assisted living at Cadence. The facility is very inviting and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are sufficient and seem to be comfortable.

The facility is clean and well maintained. They offer a lot of activities for residents. We thought that their policy of giving people on the waitlist only one day to respond is unreasonable.

The staff is friendly. [Name Removed] has been very helpful. Facility is clean although maintenance is lacking sometimes. The elevator has malfunctioned the last two times I've been there to visit Mom, and Mom has a window screen outside her room that has been hanging askew now for about a month.

We chose Cogir Alexandria Fillmore because of the exceptional staff, welcoming community, quality services, and convenient location. While the building has experienced a few age-related issues, the staff has been outstanding and continues to make it a great place to live.

The staff is friendly and helpful. David is not receiving additional care services so I can't comment on that. However, the facility is very clean, well lighted, pleasant. Housekeeping for his room has been only adequate, but they have recently lost a housekeeper, and are in the process of re-hiring, so I'm hoping this will improve. I do feel he is safe. Food services are fine, very accommodating. There are a nice variety of activities. David one bedroom apartment is small, but well laid out and with a nice view. The initial negotiations over the rate were a bit challenging, but we did come to very reasonable terms. I do feel like it is quite well run, and an honest, caring environment. I feel lucky we found it.

Very welcoming atmosphere. Facilities were clean and upscale decor. Staff were very pleasant and readily answered our questions.

Our apartment is kept clean. We haven't participated in any activities so far. Staff is great and they all greet us by name everyday. The apartment is large in size.

My mother and I toured the Memory Care wing, including the shared rooms and the common area where activities and lunch occur. We tried out a lunch that accomodated my mother's dietary needs. We enjoyed visiting with another mother/daughter during lunch. We enjoyed our tour. However, the rooms are smaller than where my mother currently lives and the monthly cost is higher.

Most of the time my mom's needs were taken care of. The care of her room and laundry were at times not done. The nursing staff was wonderful. The biggest complaint I had was that they arranged for us to move in on a Saturday at 1PM but there was no orientation or anyone who came to the room to explain a lot of the details as a new resident. I was at the front desk quite often asking questions and the receptionists were wonderful and gracious.

I brought my mother in her wheelchair to visit Bayside Terrace. The facility has excellent ADA accessibility. We were early and greeted warmly by staff. The memory care wing is the most appropriate for my mother at this time, so we went there to look at a typical room. The rooms with a bathroom are shared by two people. The individual square footage is smaller than my mother's current living space which is a negative for her. We looked at activity areas, then went to the dining room for trying a lunch. I ordered the same for my mother as I did for myself. The grilled chicken sandwich was OK. The rice and sausage dish did not look appetizing. We had a nice conversation with a resident and her visiting daughter. After lunch, Emmalissa (sp?) reviewed options and costs. She also informed us that a waiting list exists. It was good for us to experience this option to understand what is sometimes available. A $2,000 deposit places a potential resident in a queue, we decided not to do so.

All staff are very friendly, like they really like their job. I have 2 good size rooms, my dog and I are very comfortable. All meals are very satisfying. I am thankful.

For anything that needs to be done, replaced or fixed, I have to contact them multiple times before it is done. Do not use the renters insurance they offer, it has terrible ratings. The employees are very nice.

Solista has opened doors of learning about the challenges of living while addressing medical issues. The positive attitude of the community is a daily encouragement. An example: the knowledge of a resident ambassador who can assist in guiding you through the daily routine and rituals is most helpful. The general spirit of cheerfulness is evident each day. All the staff, including the cooks, housekeeping staff, young servers are always willing to help and pleasant addressing each resident by name. A variety of activities are always offered. The meal offering is always good. In comparison to other facilities, Solista is the best choice.

Pamela Harnish the executive sales rep is wonderful and helpful. The food is good and the staff is helpful. The building is kept clean There are daily activities and bus rides. The only negative is that the rooms are rather small.

It's been fine for my brother. Meals included is a plus. I would recommend to others.

The staff are very friendly. Other than a quickly corrected rental agreement mistake, the transition for my father has been very smooth. While he has only been living there for 2 and 1/2 weeks he seems to be thriving and have no complaints about food or staff! Which certainly makes us happy! With the help from A Place for Mom my dad's transition to Merrill Gardens/ Cogir of Glen Mills was less difficult.

Staff is very welcoming & helpful in getting a new resident settled in.

I would rate Cogir 4 stars. The people are very friendly. I could have used some additional direction. The apartment is It's 614 sq feet, 1 bedroom. It has a living room and full kitchen. It's just the right size for my needs.

A brand-new facility with clean, roomy and well-lighted public areas. The grounds even include a small dog park. Staff was friendly and knew many of the residents by name. We were not able to tour a 2-bedroom unit, and the one-bedroom was a little small, especially lacking much storage. We had lunch, which was very good, although two of the entrees listed on the menu were not available.
