Everyone has been very helpful and friendly at The Seville. My dad says the place has a good feeling about it. He enjoys the musical concerts and other entertainment.

Earline I have lived here for three months and just love it. Very clean, the food is great with many choices for each meal. Many activities daily to do. Kind caring staff. The beauty shop is so good. Laundry room is convient. Apartments are very roomy, clean carpet, nicely painted. Handyman will come and fix anything, quickly. Its a great place to live, and everyone is so very nice

This facility has been great for my mom!

My mom's really happy there, well, she likes the fact that everybody's so friendly and the food is GOOD and the managers are REALLY great. Last week I went over there almost every night because she was getting settled in and I was really surprised about how good the food was. If you want to be busy you can be busy all the time, they have everything from bingo to movies to opera nights to shuttles that will take them places and mom's been signing up for stuff and I was amazed. She had an apartment before and she she pretty much kept to herself and now she's going out all the time, it's like she has a new lease on life.

It's very clean, they're doing good there. They're very friendly, my sister seems to be very pleased about it, the only thing she complains about is the food. I think they may be having a little bit of difficulties with keeping up with the wait staff; sometimes it's a little late in coming but in general I think she's happy with it, she says the breakfast is very good. I'm sure most people have the same complaints with institutional food, after awhile it all starts to taste the same. I got her to start doing yoga and I think she's starting to do some of the other exercising things. I know she at least goes on Monday, but sometimes she goes on the bus to the theater or Rite Aid or other things like that. The yoga instructor I sometimes have as a sub at the Y so she's good and my sister has been taking advantage of their classes like that. I think she's done a bingo thing but my sister has a pretty good personality, she understands how to get along with the people there and how to make friends and keep friends so that's a benefit to her. I thought it was a good deal and her physical therapist and social worker all thought Carmel Place was great.

The cleanliness is excellent, the staff has been excellent. They have had a couple of management changes and I hope that stabilizes. When we went to first meet with them in May there was one couple on their way out and one coming in. Well that couple just left to go back to Statesville but what they have told the residents is that they plan on coming back to Pinecrest to live, so that was a nice compliment. My parents said that they're working on getting a set of co-managers so I hope that turnoever will stabilize. The managers they have now are excellent, the staff is excellent, the kitchen staff serves nice meals and the director of activites is wonderful. It's much closer to conviniences and there's a big VA clinic that's very close to Pinecrest. This has proved to be the most cost friendly for mom and dad and having the amentities. They have been really happy, they've enjoyed getting to know the other residents, there are many more males there, the ratio of males to females is like 40:60 and a number of them are veterans. They're pleased, we're pleased and we don't have to worry about them as much. If something happens there are pull cords and someone will be there to check on them, they may still have to go to the hospital, but someone will be there.

Great community and close to home - free limo service $3750 month with $500 deposit - gave then $500 towards move in Nov 15th

It's absolutely perfect the whole place. It's run beautifully. They're very friendly. They know everybody by name and I don't know how many people are total here, I think about 150. This place was build for senior living, not a building that people jumped in and converted it for senior living. Brookdale is the one who runs it. You can't go wrong here - it's great! I think there's a waiting list started. There are tons of activities - they just had the last pool party of the year. The have Wii bowling and I play bridge. They have all types of games and puzzles and all sorts of community interaction which is good. I also really like that everybody has a washer/drying in their apartment so you don't have to try and beat people to a laundry room.

A Place for Mom was extremely helpful in finding a retirement community that would meet my father's needs along with being very affordable and in close proximity to where I live. This placement involved moving my father from Ohio to California, and I began my search knowing what type of retirement place he had in Ohio and how I would have to meet those requirements at a minimum. Emeritus at Rohnert Park EXCEEDS everything he had in Ohio from its Anytime Dining with ability to request food not on the menu be prepared if the kitchen has it, resident-focused concern for health and happiness, a swimming pool & jacuzzi open 365 days/year, and plenty of different types of activities to choose from on a DAILY basis. From his visit to check it out once I recommended it to him, until his move-in, and through his residency today, my father has been EXTREMELY happy! His entire mood has improved and he is a much more joyful person than he was in Ohio. I HIGHLY recommend Emeritus at Rohnert Park, and A Place For Mom for their assistance in helping me find this wonderful community.

It was phenomenal! It's independent living so you have to hire your own help separate from Carmel Place. They did do housekeeping and that was excellent. Overall, they were amazing. The management team was indredible and everyone was friendly. They really made and effort to get you involved and get you going. The food probably could have improved. My mom just got to a place where she needed more care. I wish my mom could have stayed there. They were really special people.

This is the best place for seniors and would be the best place for your parents. They are just the best place to get this level of care. They are very attentive and it is almost like not being in an assisted living community but more like a luxury hotel. I would highly recommend this community to anyone.

It was too expensive, it's not worth the cost and I still don't know how they can get away with what they charge for rent. My aunt was really happy because she was close to the nurses station and she had only one person at her table so everything was very calm. Each floor has its own dining room, Washington House is like the Ritz compared to the Mariott. The activities were probably great but my aunt didn't participate because she just wasn't interested. The location is nice because it is pretty close to Washington DC and close to Alexandria so it was easy for me to visit as often as I wanted.

I'm happy and I think we're getting out money's worth. My peace of mind is worth it. It seems like the acitivities are good but I don't really know because my parents aren't very active. They email me every week and keep me posted so that's great. I would say that people, if they don't know what questions to ask, they don't ask them. I don't think that finacially we would have been able to get my parents in to Harvard Square because I didn't know about VA benefits. Ask questions about the VA benefits because as it turned out, it was very doable. Everyone there is just so sweet. The dining is more like a reastaurant. It doesn't feel like a dining hall which I think is more dignified for them. You order off of a menu that changes all the time. Within 3 minutes I knew that this was the place. It's fabulous.

I don't know if we've spent enough time there yet, but so far, so good.

The Windham is very, very nice. Just beautiful inside and out. The staff was very nice and supportive. It was just a price difference more than anything that made us choose another place.

I really like Sudio Royale. My mom seems to be really happy there. She just went from a semi private to a private room. She's keeping really active - exercising 45 minutes a day, paying cards and bingo. They sometimes have people come in an play music and sing. I looked into quite a few places and I think she feels comfortable in a place like this. There are a lot more luxurious places but that's not my mom. These are just really nice, friendly people. It feels like quite a bit that she is paying but nothing is cheap today. It's affordable compared to other places. She loves the food. The portions are really large and they serve meat with practically every meal which she has to cut down on. She asked for more salads and now they're giving her salads so that's good.

We only toured The Stratford, but really liked it and thought the staff was very friendly. Sylvia Lee spent a lot of time with my loved one making sure to find just the right apartment for her needs. The only reason we chose the Carolina House over the Stratford, was the location, The Stratford was further than family. It was a little expensive, they were offering a special which is the only way we could have afforded here. The Stratford and the Carolina House feel like the exact same building when you step inside just different paint colors. It is not quite as new it's about ten years old and the Carolina House is only about 3. They had floral arrangements throughout the place. I would recommend checking out The Stratford.

When we toured there was a male resident in the hall directing traffic. He seemed very happy to live there and was very friendly. He claimed he liked to pick his perch for people watching. The facility had a lot more floors than The Hermitage, I think there were 11 or 12 stories here? They have tons of activities listed, they'll take residents to baseball games, museums, movies, plays, and other things residents can sign up for. hey also offer lectures and have sports polls, it seems like they do a lot to involve their residents. They start with Independent Living but offer graduated care. This place looked and felt very homey they had a lot of sitting areas tucked throughout the place.

This community is really just a very beautiful community. The staff is really friendly. The community is really clean and it provides a gorgeous setting. Our loved one really loved it there. We are happy with our choice of Where the Heart Is.

We were very pleased with Redwood Heights but had to leave this community because of fall risk for our loved one. They did great during the day and had excellent staff but during the night they would have minimal staffing and our loved one would become impatient waiting for someone to help so she would try and do it herself. We are no longer here but our loved one would love to go back we just don’t feel they could offer the level of staffing we were looking for. Overall we were very pleased and would recommend it to anyone.
