They are very clean and friendly. The activities are tremendous. They have the absolute best food of any place that I tried. I tried 8 different places and tried the food at all of them. The food here is excellent and has a good variety! They are a relatively large complex (on 20+ acres) but there is lots of well groomed open space. The grounds are well kept and nice, it's a very cheery facility that has activities going on all the time. The rooms are pretty good size and brightly lit (plenty of windows) and very clean. And the staff gets to know everyone's name (about 250 residents) within a couple of weeks, they really go out of their way to get to know their residents, and it's a good sized place, and that's not trivial. Many of the staff have been there a several (many 5+) years. And I'd say they like working there, that helps a lot.

They are doing a great job. We are real happy with them. Any issues we have had, have more to do with our loved one than the community. Our loved one is happy and that is what's important.

I'm really happy with them, they have done really well. The dinners can be difficult if you are a vegetarian, they are supposed to have options, but sometimes the options are limited. It's pretty and nice though and they are very helpful for her. Everyone is friendly, and they keep it very clean. I very pleased with them.

We toured this community. Trust them. They know what they’re doing. I liked the variety of food. They are very flexible in their financial plans. They have an outdoor area for residents to use. They are conveniently located and have good parking options.

From the minute my mom walked in Emeritus, she felt like she was home. After living there for a month she is more alive and happy than she has been for awhile. The staff is so friendly and helpful, the apartment is beautiful, and as a vegetarian she always has a delicious choice of meals. I highly recommend Emeritus!

They have been absolutely excellent! I have absolutely no complaints! They went out of their way to help us in a difficult situation. They weren't open at the time we needed to move in, but they opened up the place, waited for us, and helped us move into the apartment! They even allowed us to stay in a furnished respite room until my loved one's stuff arrived! They were extremely accommodating in so many ways, and bent over backwards to help us! The price is right in the middle of the others in the area. They do care evaluations every 6 months, to assess and make sure everything is okay. Hopefully, they won't use that as an excuse to up the charges. Overall, we are very happy here and thrilled with this choice!

They do an excellent job here overall! The facility itself is clean and well kept, the staff are friendly, and the care and services they provide all seem to be very good.

I recently went on a hunt for an Assisted Living Community for my Dad. After looking for about 2 weeks (I needed to find a place fast for health reasons) I looked at several places and finally decided on Clearwater Springs. My Dad really likes it there and I visit him often. Clearwater Springs is very clean and well kept. All of the staff are incredibly friendly. Not too expensive, fit into Dad's monthly budget. The care is excellent , however, they do not give insulin shots. The resident needs to do that themselves (hence 4 1/2 stars). The variety of activities is pretty impressive.

I have only been here a couple months, but I really have no complaints at all! A lot of the programs and classes they offer look very interesting! I have adjusted to living here and getting settled in. There isn't a staff member here that wouldn't go out of their way to help you! They are what really impress me. They knew my name right away and are so friendly! I didn't know what to expect when I moved in, but it's been better than I would have ever known!

The staff changes a lot, when they are doing really well they move everybody to new places and then they start over again. The residents get used them and then they change up. The food is pretty darn good. I really have no complaints at all. They are quick to help out and the maintenence man comes and helps, he helped hang her pictures and set up her microwave. Meals take a long time, they serve everything course by course, that is her complaint though not mine. They are very stern about the fact that you have to dress for dinner, and I didn't want her to be able to wander down in her pajamas and get in the habit of not getting dressed. Their activities programs are really nice, even I wanted to play. They have Wii bowling, and bingo of course, and a woman who teaches yoga that they can do in a chair so it is geared to older people. They have team beanbag baseball, and they play against other places in town. The walking path they have around the building throughout is very nice.

We toured this location when we were looking into care options for a loved one. I really liked what I saw here, it was my favorite location that we toured. However, it was much more expensive than many of the places we looked at. It was a very nice looking place, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. I liked the restaurant style dining service, the food looked very good. One concern was that since it was a mutliple story facility, and on the larger side, it may have been difficult for my loved one to navigate.

I loved it here!! I loved it but the building got licensed for assisted living, and the price went way up, and I just couldn't see staying there. I loved having a kitchen and a laundry right there in my room. They had bright walls and everyone was just really friendly. I had storage here, which was really convenient.

My loved one really hasn't participated in any activities yet, but I do know that they offer them. The food is okay - I would rate it a 4. I don't really know how they could improve that. I think that they could maybe improve their communication with the family, especially for those that live out of state. Also, a suggestion I have would be to give the family more of a heads up when they run out of supplies. That way, the family has more time to restock and bring them over. Other than that, they are all wonderfully nice! The caregivers are just great!

Things are going pretty good here. Retirement communities are so expensive, and sometimes, I'm not sure what exactly we're paying for. It is hard for elderly individuals to come up with that much money. They could improve on the food dishes. They could definitely use more variety. Especially since the residents are paying that much to live there - they should be able to eat what they want. The staff was great though! The location was really important to us, and the first meeting with the staff went great, so overall, we're satisfied!

This review is only for the Independent Living side. The care services are well within expectations, and the staff is all very friendly. I would rate the food as a 4, because it could be a little better. Sometimes, it is not prepared properly. Also, breakfast is included in the rent, but the breakfast options are very limited. It is like a contintental breakfast, and only offered for a limited time during the morning. This may not be suitable for people who do not like getting up early. If there are alternative options for variety and maybe room delivery, they were not clearly explained to us. However, they did impress us with their quick response to maintenence requests. It wasn't even an hour, it was within minutes!

It's an excellent place. They had stuff going on all day long and sometimes in the evening too. The food was really good, they had the tenderest meat I've ever seen. This is a mostly independent community. They say if a person doesn't come down for a couple of meals in a row they would check with them. They did have a live in nurses aide that you could contract at a reasonable price to help with care. They were very cooperative with all the billing issues, working with the VA and Medicare, and were able to point me in the right direction, and tell me where to look. It's set on a piece of property where we could see deer outside eating grass from the window, they have a nice outdoor areas.

like it a lot. left deposit. was first of the four but figured it would be hard to beat. staff was exceptional. Saw many residents. love the anytime dining concept. nice looking structure. Park like environment. comfortable feel to it.

This is a great place. I'd really like mom to live here. However, with her alzheimers progressing, I'm not sure if it is the best fit.

They are quite busy over there, they are always doing something. The food is great! They are super, super clean. They have a flat rate. They really worked with me. I can't think of anything that could be done better.
