We chose this facility because of the convenient location, we liked the size of it, and it was not quite as large as some of the others we looked into. It was also all on one level, no steps or elevators so we liked the set up. The grounds and the whole facility is very well kept. I think the staff is outstanding and I would highly recommend them to others looking. We are very pleased with the care that they got here.

The community is very friendly and they went out of their way for us. We needed memory care though so this community didn't fit our needs at the time.

Some of the workers don't know what the other workers are doing, there is a lack of communication between them. It seems the workers don't know what the management teams has done. They hide this by saying it is for confidentiality. I think they could do a better job with letting residents know who contracted the COVID19 virus. I don't think the food is all that great. The portions are random and not the same each time. The food is being delivered due to the pandemic. The food is cafeteria style. I'm told this is a more moderately priced community.

Even thought I live in independent living, they are always checking in on me. You have to check in every morning and if they do not hear from you then they call to make sure everything is okay. I really like that they allow you to bring dogs, that is a huge plus and they do offer activities. the staff members really just go out of their way to help.

It came down between 2 facilities, we chose Acoya Mesa because when they called I liked their sales pitch more and the staff members seemed more down to earth. For 2 people, the room size they had was perfect for what they needed. They do also have different sizes to choose from based off of your needs. The staff do send texts and updates by phone calls as well, so they are good with communication. Overall, I have been happy with the services provided and we are excited that things are starting to open up. I would recommend to others who are looking.

This community is not assisted living it's a 55+ community. They don't have any medical staff. The communication between the staff and residence is very good. I would recommend this community to others

This was so far the best situation for my mom, but she is unsure about caring for her dog here. We are keeping our options open on The Virginian. [name removed] was super helpful and gave us delicious salsa from the chef.

The staff members at the community are very good, and when it comes to the care services they provide everything our loved ones needs help with. Under the current circumstances they are still doing activities, and they are coming up with new ways to keep the residents active and engaged.

We really liked our visit to Emerald Pond, it was clean, bright, and all the amenities included with the monthly rent will be super helpful. [name removed] the sales leader was very engaging, informative and able to answer all our questions. We left Emerald Pond with a good feeling.

We honestly cannot say enough good things abut how kind, friendly and helpful everyone at the community has been. They show such kindness towards our family and our loved one at the community.

Emerald Pond looks like a prime prospect -- they have cottages and that is what we really have decided we need.

We chose Carmel Place because of the location, it is in a good area of Charlotte and close to where I work so I could drop in and visit frequently. It was also very clean and I liked the director who we met during our your, he made the process very simple and easy. The rooms here are also nice and spacious and clean and it just seemed like a good fit. I would highly recommend.

This is a good place, but a little expensive. The staff take care of my loved one, and checks in on them. They do take residents to their doctor appointments.

We chose Brandywine Living because my mom is very particular and this place is a step above the other places that we looked into. You walk in and feel like you are in a hotel, it is not institutional at all. My mom is in a 1 bedroom (550 sq ft) and it has been adequate for her needs. The food is my moms favorite part of the facility. They have chefs on site who prepare all the meals and they are made from scratch. I am excited for her to be able to get out and do some of the activities that they were able to provide before covid. I would most certainly recommend if you can afford it.

Two years ago my father moved to Vineyard Place. From the very first day he has felt welcome here and He absolutely LOVES his apt and the new friends that he has met. The staff are very kind..helpful and very friendly! It is so obvious that The sincerely care about their residents AND their residents families! We are so grateful! And appreciate all they do for everyone. Living here is HOME to Him .. and to us

We chose this facility because of the price, we felt like it was a good deal for what she was going to get as well as the location. I think the apartments are a decent. Overall, we have had a good experience and would recommend.
