After interviewing other places, we're very happy with Avamere and have recommended them to others. Every time I go in, it always looks really clean, bright, open, and organized. The staff is very friendly, to the residents as well as the families. Overall my dad is happy with the food, and if a meal is too big for him, they're willing to split it in two for a lunch and dinner. I've seen them have parades, and decorate for the holidays, which looks really nice. They have music playing at different times. This past Veterans' Day, they updated the Wall of Veterans. They asked for pictures and brought it current, which was nice. Sometimes I have a little bit of trouble getting invoices from the gal in billing. It can be difficult for me to get ahold of her, and she mails the invoices instead of emailing as I've requested. But she's very friendly, and she does get me the information in the end.

We chose Astor House because of the value for the money as well as the flexibility of being able to have people come into care for my mom versus moving her to assisted living. The apartment sizes are very nice and spacious. The housekeepers do a great job on the apartments, but the common areas could use some more cleaning. I would definitely recommend to others looking.

I really liked Cogir and almost placed my mom here. I liked the way they presented everything and the staff seemed very involved. When we walked the property, residents all seemed happy and were outside walking and visiting. It is in a residential area and we liked the location.

I've met people that were looking at the community and have sold them on this community. The location, resort style, and what they have to offer all stand out to me. The value for the money is awesome. The meals are delivered daily to the residents if they choose to. They have happy hours on Thursday and other activities for the residents. Everyone is friendly.

Cogir of Edmonds is the best place for our loved one to be, the communication with the community director is tremendously excellent. She spends so much time at the community and with the residents. The medical team, executive director, financial department and the day to day staff also have great communication. We never thought our loved one would partake in activities, and he loves the activities here. Visitation hours are 24/7, and even though covid has been a struggle they really have done everything they possible can.

We had a great tour with Cadence at Garner and were very impressed. My loved one was not needing a facility right away, but when she does this will definitely be a place we will want to consider.

Gorgeous and owned by the same location of Hidden Lakes . Incredibly friendly. Comfortable in both locations.

My wife and I moved in about 3 weeks. During this time we have found all the staff to e very friendly and helpful. The kitchen staff work very hard to see to it that we get excellent food served to order, The weekly menu that is put out gives us something to look forward to all week. We are very happy here and well taken of.

[Name removed] was my first contact here and she made me feel at home. [Name removed], the driver takes me whereever I want to go. I haven't found a person who is not kind yet. Everyone is so friendly. After leading a staff of 80, I understand culture and Cortona has the right culture.

The staff at Cogir are very compassionate and dedicated to the health and well being of the residents. Daily events are available from scenic drives, sing alongs, movie, exercises, bingo, etc. Caregivers and support staff are so encouraging and ready to assist at a moments notice. I recommend Cogir to anyone seeking a senior living facility.

We chose The Stratford because they had availability quickly when we needed it. We also had a friend whose mom was here. Once I visited and I was extremely impressed. [name removed] and [name removed] were so helpful and we felt blessed he had a place to go. I personally thought the apartment sizes were fine, he had a 1 bedroom. The fact that everything is included in the base price was a big plus to us. I would absolutely recommend them to others looking.

Nice accommodation, meals and cleaning service not at all up to a good standard. The present staff are great but under staffing burdens with extra work and service suffers.
