i have recently take a tour of this community for my mother and I have no complaints about the experience we had received. The staff where all lovely people to work with and where knowledgeable with all the details of the facility. They had a variety of activities for the residents as well as a great menu for all the residents. It was just not the right location in the end decision for my mom.

We toured this community for care.We needed a room that was bigger. The staff was very nice and helpful. We need an Independent living and that was not available at the time needed. They do offer a menu that was appealing. Activities were listed and would have been something that would have been helpful. We would recommend this community to other families for the care and the value

Opinion based upon 6 weeks of observations/experiences with Oyster Creek staff and facilities. Overall, day to day staff interfaces have been very cordial. The facility is well maintained as has been our individual room. The food is good and meals are conveniently made available to meet different needs. Recreational activities are well supervised and appear to be well attended. The overall facility design is excellent and visually appealing with respect to common area furnishings, lighting and outdoor seating options. I have had to "remind" management on several occasions of staff personal service oversights, but these lapses were corrected and have not been ongoing. Residents are cordial to each other and reached out to us upon our arrival to engage with us.

The office staff is very professional and have the clients interest in mind. When I moved my parents in, there were a couple of things that needed to be done in their studio and the facilities people were prompt to fix / complete them. Most of all, the knowledge that my parents are satisfied with where they are, is fulfilling.

Very pretty facility. Good financial incentives to move there (1 month free rent and waived community fees) but expensive monthly rent afterwards. business office was very unorganized. Interim Wellness Director (who was not LVN or RN) for first several months and then the LVN they hired left after a couple of months. Caretakers were ok but hard to find when needed. Disappointing experience with room and potential for improvement. My parent lived there less than a year and though intentions were good and sincere, the amount of staff and administrative transition during that time made things unsatisfactory to the point of needing to move. Until there is a record of staff and admin stability, I cannot recommend.

My only complaint would be that each time I go down to see my mom she's eating fried chicken nuggets she only has three teeth and she needs a more softer type of food the nuggets for even too hard for me to eat and I have all my teeth.

Lately we've been having a bad experience at Double Creek. Our mom has had to deal with very bad response times from DC staff when she presses her alert pendant. We were told it would be 7-10 minutes before a caregiver would respond. She's been waited much longer, especially at night. And she's soiled herself waiting for someone to assist her. We're considering moving mom to another place. She's made friends there. They have good programs and my mom likes the food. But they seem to be very understaffed.

They seem to be able to work with mom more effectively and overall she seems calmer. The down side is they do not keep her hearing aids charged or her phone.

Paid for services we did not receive. Money was always an issue for the administration. There was a lack of communication. Medication was left unadministered. I had to refill meds and give them to her myself. The staff (besides administration) was great. The food seemed good although my mom did complain.

The Bluffs are a clean well kept facility and those who are truly independently living seem to enjoy the food and social aspect very much.

There are certain great aspects and certain not great ones. We've had the most issues with medication filling and distribution. Getting it wrong. Waiting too long to have it filled. Inconsistent times of delivery especially in evening. Lots and lots of me having to be involved in that. Some of the staff is amazing and some is not so amazing

Facilities are nice and clean. Staff is underwhelming though. Weekly cleaning don't get done, have had problems with maintenance fixing her toilet, medications have been wrong. Activities often advertised in elevators and around buildings on flyers, but wonder if these even happen.

Scheduled an evaluation with [name removed]and she never showed up. Called her, texted her and finally contacted Harvest about it and we never got a hold of [name removed]. Finally ended up doing a FaceTime call with another person. She was very helpful. Front desk did not know which room was for my mother. I paid an extra day to move in and could not because room had someone else’s furniture.

Staff- They need better communication and a log of who has called, come by, or asked for a particular manager. I've waited for scheduled appointments, gotten callbacks where the person doesn't identify themselves or that they work for The Bluffs, and had directors and assistant directors fail to show up when repeatedly paged. Activities I'm sure are great, but my mom doesn't have the ability to participate in them, so can't really rate them. The dining is good. The food is good and the dining staff are very accommodating. Cleanliness -the place is clean. They stop by rooms daily to do light cleaning, which is great. They pick up and drop off laundry, again very nice because my mom can't do this on her own. Apartment is standard I guess. It's a small studio for NYC prices. My mom doesn't have the means to have more space, so it is what it is.

Do not let anyone do an evaluation of the residents condition, other than their PRIMARY care doctors. And be CONSISTENT with visitations if possible. I just feel that families should be aware to not put all faith In the in-house doctors or advocates to speak on your family members behalf. And there are a few things that can go neglected because family do not stay connected with their loved one or visit often enough to see for themselves how their family member feels.

Maintenance staff was unavailable during move in, maintenance is regularly partially done, food is frequently cold or out of stock items.

Personally, I would rate all questions a "3" out of 5. Might be ok for non assistance needs, but not level of care for a stroke victim which they said they were equipped to help. The staff changed several times in the e months he was there. Care givers tried, but language was somewhat of an issue. Wait times for help were not good.

It was a good facility. The admin made a lot of promises they didn't keep though which was disappointing.

Check out the pattern of rate increases for the lease. The Hamptons have increased up to 8% every year for as long as residents can remember

The staff was generally supportive but not always supportive. The food and service was very bad. I would not recommend it because of the lack of adequate staff and the less than adequate food.
