They are very friendly and helpful and caring about their residents. It provides a great sense of community! Unfortunately, on many days, the meals in the dining room are not satisfactory (dried out, very spicy, or refried) and have extremely long (45 minutes+) wait times. If the dining service issues get fixed, it would score 5 stars!

We loved the community. My loved one preferred another community and we felt it was more than we wanted to spend.

Overall, our experience at this facility has been good so far. If I had to do it over again, I'd still choose this facility, but there have been a few challenges. There's been a lot of turnover, which causes things to be inconsistent. Housekeeping, for example, varies. The cleanliness of the facility is good, but my loved one's living area varies from good to really good. I will say, the smell of urine used to be noticeable most times when I would visit, but has totally gone away in the last 3 weeks or so. That's been a great improvement. Also, the Operations individual could improve his bedside manner. Mainly, I think if Management improved here, then the rest would follow. A clean up in Administration would go a long way. I don't want to seem negative, this is a good place overall. Not top of the line by any means, but an affordable good place. We're happy with it. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

I have been here almost tree years. Overall very good experience. I feel when people are out for a month or so there should be some monetary compensation for 70 + meals for a month not eaten but paid for. The same thing should apply for those out in hospitals and rehab. The servings have gotten smaller but we pay the same. We have more and more people moving in. It seems to me that the budget for food portions should be raised considerably to compensate, not lowering portions. The Indendent Living activities person makes sure we have plenty activities going on but many times is pulled to do other things for other departments. She needs an assistant and/or a raise for all the work she does. There was an assistant before and there have been more people move in, so it sense to get another assistant may be necessary.

My Mom came out of some rough surgery and the staff was there to help from Rehab to placing us at Tech Ridge. The facility is clean, very festive and a recent change in staff has made it feel more safe and has taken the worry away.

We chose The Avenues of Fort Bend because they had availability at the time we needed it, a lot of other places were full. Overall it has been a pretty good experience so far.

The community is very good about knowing the people that are there and taking an interest in them and showing kindness. They are very good about planning and maintaining a variety of activities. They could improve the family and guest check in process for visiting.

It was a nice facility, and they had a pool. It was a larger community. The tour guide was nice. They did not have a room available for my loved one.

Staff changes a lot. Cooks change a lot. There aren't many activities for men to do. My father has home health visit him daily, which is great for him.

I toured this facility and it was nice. Friendly staff and very clean. However, it's a large campus and my loved one would have been too far from the dining area. Not an ideal fit for us, but great option if that wouldn't be an issue for your loved one. It was also higher priced than some of the other places we toured.

I toured this community and it was pretty good. It was our second choice. The staff was very friendly. The facility looked good and clean. The activity room and dining area were both nice with lots of windows and felt roomy.

Cambridge Court is doing a great job of taking care of my loved one and the family is thankful for the services they provide. We picked this location because, they are in Mesquite, close to family and familiar to my loved one. Also, the staff worked diligently to get her placed quickly. We also really appreciated the doctors that would come see her there,since she was no longer willing to go to their offices

Our loved one was a previous resident here and the staff were great and the activities were great but they kept giving our loved one medicine they did not need and kept overriding us. So if it wasn't sure the medication issue this would of received 5 stars.

It is a BEAUTIFUL facility. It is only about 2.5 years old. It is in a very up and coming area. There is a very large park there and the schools are around there. He has a 3 bedroom apartment and he is able to watch the baseball games, watch the kids play at tote school, etc. His apartment has 9 foot ceilings and feels so spacious. The residents have a stairway or ramp going up to the park and they can go walk around. We absolutely love the location. They have a big swimming pool that's in the inner court so everything is surrounded by the building. The facility has a very elegant feel to it and has a ton of natural lighting. We are very happy he is here, he loves it and feels at home. It is such a pleasure.

I think right now everyone is experiencing staff shortages so be prepared for that. Stone Creek is doing the best they can to accommodate for those challenges. An important question to ask is Can a residence age in place there. This is really important regardless how they are coming into a community. They want to find a place where they don't have to move twice.

The Grandview of Chisholm Trail has been a wonderful place for my mom to live. She is loved, cared for, and made to feel very special. During times when she has struggled with her health, the staff made sure that she was well cared for and safe. The Manager and staff are always communicating with me in such a positive and professional way. The Activities Director keeps everyone engaged, laughing, and finding joy in their latter years. The Wellness Director and her staff make sure that Mom’s health is attended to in a kind way. Mom is very happy and content here, and that brings me comfort.

Overall it has been a good experience. They genuinely seem to care, and have the residents best interest at heart.

Arabella of Red Oak is a wonderful place. It is expensive but all of the services that are offered are really good. Our loved one says the meals are really good. They seemed to have some fun activities going on all the time throughout the week. He seems to be really happy here at Arabella of Red Oak.

This has been a great experience for us. The care the staff provides has been good and has made it a good place to be. The staff communication with the family has been good. There are three meals served a day and there are choices for the residents to choose from.

Our parents are living there somewhat independently but whatever our parents need the staff will do it for them. We really appreciate just how hard the staff worked to get our loved ones moved in and set up in a comfortable apartment - they have been so accommodating to our love ones needs and overall they have just been wonderful. They discontinued the activities for about a month when they had a covid outbreak, but they are starting to bring them back so we are excited to see what all our loved ones do. The meals could use a little more flavor, our loved ones say at times it is a little bland and it would be nice if here and there they would offer up some soda options. However the dining experience is fantastic, they always know what our loved one orders for breakfast and bring it her to promptly. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families.
