Laundry room needs a rod to hang clothes. Also need a way to dispose of discarded furniture. unable to socialize because of the time used to prepare my house for sale. Staging took place today, so the effort should be complete next week.

Staff was friendly and attentive to her needs. Facility was clean, many choices at meal time and front desk was very helpful.

I can't rate the care services - my loved one is still fully independent. The service in the dining room can be can be disorganized; menu has improved recently after residents complained. Value for the money - is definitely expensive and increased over 10% from last year's rate. Yes, I would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

The facility is good. The PT and OT people are wonderful-best she has ever had. The care givers are kind and attentive. There is an issue of lack of caregiver staffing at times. (Probably an issue at every assisted living community). The food is very good. They deliver the food to her room because she does not want to go to the dining room. Tech Ridge is a lovely, clean and cheerful place with good management and good communication. I am the Power of Attorney for the resident.

Without a gym or a pool the rates are affordable. So the money can be spent on quality care of the overall facility. However it really needs an outside update. Like painting and landscaping. Bathrooms could use a little updating like the vanities but they have newer refrigerator and microwaves . Cleaning picks up trash everyday. Cleans once a week and laundry once a week. Studios are small but great for 1 person. The other 1 bedroom isn't much bigger but has a little dining area.

They were the only ones who would take my dad, who needed lots of assistance transferring.

I have peace of mind with my mom at this facility. She seems to be involved. Her attitude concerning the facility is good even though it's not home.

Staff was friendly and caring but they seemed to be short handed. Seemed like a lot of turn over. Activities for memory care were good at first but towards the end of the year they became non-existant.

They stuck out over other places because of the responsiveness, comprehensive care for set monthly fee, flexibility in working with supplemental care givers and hospice, affordable price, quick move in. Very friendly, kind, thoughtful.

If we had waited longer, I don't think we could have done it alone . The people are very friendly. Everyone speaks to everyone. The food is surprisingly good. The daily menu is extensive. There is often a wait to get your food. They need more waitresses. All of the help are very friendly. There are many activities for women, not so many for men. The apartments are beautiful and well appointed. Everything is new.

I'm a very outgoing person and enjoyed my neighbors and staff. I was invited to be an ambassador host and got involved with many activities. It's a good place to live when you need to make changes as we age. The apartments are nice and they offer up to 3 bedrooms plus covered or one car garage for a fee which is a benefit. Activities are nice as in house and outings. We have a pool area which is nice but, would prefer a heated pool for longer use which is recommended for seniors health benefits. They have a small area with raised garden beds which you can sign up for the garden lovers. A small dog park to let your pet run off leash.

They are responsive. I do feel like medicine management was an area that we really struggled with. It has gotten better. Also, there's a large turnover of care takers. I don't feel like this is just specific to Long Creek, but do believe for the money we pay that this is an area that should be able to be prioritized. The place is very nice. Both residents and support people are kind and helpful. I do feel that my loved one is well taken care of. Communication is strong and there is a willingness to listen.

If you have very low expectations of activities (crafts, in residence) and understand supply chain constraints on dining everything will be fine.

I would recommend to others. I picked them because of proximity to family

In general most of mom's care was fine. At times it seemed like having to change mom or clean her up was a nuisance. Sometimes they would get a little rough with her. ( Not necessarily too rough but not gentle either. (Definitely not abusive) Mom missed many meals because they would deliver the food to the room and leave it on the counter in the kitchen. Mom was bed ridden so she couldn't get her food, so she would call my brother or me and complain about it. It would improve for a few days then we would start over again and so on. Overall it was fine, just needed more compassion when it came to her needs. Would definitely recommend if the resident didn't need personal care as much as mom did at the end.

Since August we have discovered more and more aspects of Elk Creek like and more to like about each one. The staff here is genuinely caring and actively helpful. Monthly family nights are very well planned for residents and family members' enjoyment. The attention to detail and quality of food and activities is exceptional.

They don't know how to make beds! They don't deliver Amazon or open the boxes when asked Burnt toast for breakfast Food can be slow coming to table or waited 20 minutes after order then said they can't do it The people that come to rooms and we interact with are really good, helpful and polite!!!

They were one of the few that would accommodate my mother's transfer equipment .Facility is very nice and clean. Just not perfect so I can't give it a 5

Our overall experience with Double Creek has been generally positive. It was much more so in the beginning but once they fired [name removed] (director), the turnover became even greater than it already was. Cleanliness is okay. They had a contract with the cleaning service that was subpar. It was disgusting for a time but [name removed]heeded our feedback and that was rectified. Now it's mostly okay. The staff have always been friendly. Our issue has been the turnover. Just when we thought things were stabilizing, we got to experience an entirely new crop of staff, including the director. I believe the quality of care is okay. But my mother-in-law's dementia is pretty severe so we can't know the full extent beyond what we experience. The meals certainly are of good quality. My mother-in-law eats wonderfully there and has a great appetite, which wasn't always the case. Their activities are fantastic! From exercise to entertainment, they've always been very thoughtful about stimulating the residents. The cost has gone up quite a bit. And this was even before my mother-in-law's needs became more.

I think the events could be much better, there is not a lot of action for the residents. Sometimes I do feel that the facility is understaffed at times especailly after 7.
