This is a very welcoming community. I feel like my parents are in a very safe environment with a lot of help to keep them living an independent lifestyle. Unfortunately, they haven’t been on very many outings because soon after moving in, Ledgestone lost their activities director. Hopefully, the new person will get more outings scheduled so all residents have an opportunity to get out and explore the surrounding area.

Everyone is very nice and friendly! The food isn't the best. Food has been burnt or mushy, or not much flavor. She will no longer try the burgers... how can u mess up a burger?? The laundry has lost her clothes on more than one occasion

Floors in dads room and closet have dustballs/bugs. New admin staff not as friendly as old staff. The Front desk girls and Med techs get a 5 for friendliness. Activities have increased since new Admin. There has been a large price increase recently. The room and size is fine. No complaints.

Care services - timely morning medication is a problem. Administrative staff - needs to better support staff organization. Room cleaning and laundry is hit or miss.

The facilities are clean and the staff is very well informed and helpful. Yes, we would recommend Valley View Senior Living to other families based on the experience so far.

The reason for the overall experience being at 4. Please keep in mind. These residents are having a very major change in their life their home, everything they know is gone at one of the most vulnerable time of their life. Having a welcoming committee, a group assigned to new residence to welcome them to get them engaged and to help them through this transition. This is something that would take several weeks not only is it good for the new resident but other residents helping someone gives them a sense of purpose as well. Although there are plenty of activities, new residence have a hard time joining in as established residence are cliquish and non-welcoming not just to us personally, but have observed on many occasions. A lot of people lonely, trying to engage and being turned away. This is not meant to be a complaint just a suggestion to help future residence. I realize some residents make it difficult no matter how much you try to help them and that can be quite a challenge as well. Please just try to keep in mind. This is a very hard life change for each of them. Your staff is wonderful, very helpful and accommodating. Anytime we've asked for something they worked very hard to be helpful and this is much appreciated. They were very patient and kind. They should all be recognized for their efforts. I apologize for not remembering the name of the woman who runs the bistro, but I would like to send a shout out to her as is amazing to all the residence, as well as really taking time to get to know them as individuals their likes their dislikes, their family members, etc.. [name removed] was our first contact with you all and extremely friendly knowledgeable and always available anytime I needed anything. She helped me make this process for my mother so much easier it's people like her that get us through the more difficult decisions. Thank you so much [name removed] . Top-notch cleanliness everything was always at peak condition. Financially, this had to be the best residence for your money . Wonderful amenities would recommend this place to anyone needing a retirement center.

No complaints that would be a deal breaker. Staff turnover, including the Executive Director is constant. Medication administration is excellent. Housekeeping in the apartment needed to be closely monitored, particularly laundry service. However, overall a good facility with attentive staff.

Food bar is the best for the value in town it comes out within 5 to 10 minutes. It is hot. It is colorful and it is excellent cooked by a chef on site.

I have been at this facility and have seen many changes-some good and so so good. Food quality continues to be problem-budget low so quality is sacrificed as in fish etc. Very please with the additions of [name removed] as our director. Hot water is finally acting like it should!!! Rent up 10% UGH!!!

What I think they could improve on at Double Creek is the food. I like that it is accessible from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. I like the fact that the administrators seem to be available to the residents. My mom was in a different place and that wasn't the case.

What they could improve on would be the personality of the workers. Sometimes seem a lil agitated when I call to check on my Mom. There was an incident that happen with my Mom and I wasn't happy about it

Laundry room needs a rod to hang clothes. Also need a way to dispose of discarded furniture. unable to socialize because of the time used to prepare my house for sale. Staging took place today, so the effort should be complete next week.

Staff was friendly and attentive to her needs. Facility was clean, many choices at meal time and front desk was very helpful.

I can't rate the care services - my loved one is still fully independent. The service in the dining room can be can be disorganized; menu has improved recently after residents complained. Value for the money - is definitely expensive and increased over 10% from last year's rate. Yes, I would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

The facility is good. The PT and OT people are wonderful-best she has ever had. The care givers are kind and attentive. There is an issue of lack of caregiver staffing at times. (Probably an issue at every assisted living community). The food is very good. They deliver the food to her room because she does not want to go to the dining room. Tech Ridge is a lovely, clean and cheerful place with good management and good communication. I am the Power of Attorney for the resident.

Without a gym or a pool the rates are affordable. So the money can be spent on quality care of the overall facility. However it really needs an outside update. Like painting and landscaping. Bathrooms could use a little updating like the vanities but they have newer refrigerator and microwaves . Cleaning picks up trash everyday. Cleans once a week and laundry once a week. Studios are small but great for 1 person. The other 1 bedroom isn't much bigger but has a little dining area.

They were the only ones who would take my dad, who needed lots of assistance transferring.

I have peace of mind with my mom at this facility. She seems to be involved. Her attitude concerning the facility is good even though it's not home.

Staff was friendly and caring but they seemed to be short handed. Seemed like a lot of turn over. Activities for memory care were good at first but towards the end of the year they became non-existant.

They stuck out over other places because of the responsiveness, comprehensive care for set monthly fee, flexibility in working with supplemental care givers and hospice, affordable price, quick move in. Very friendly, kind, thoughtful.
