They are not well-maintained. My air-conditioning doesn't work. I'm sweltering. I have asked maintenance, and they said they can have it tomorrow. It's making me sick!! I've had several problems with maintenance. I waited for several months to get my blinds fixed.

Food is being revamped (thank goodness) Activities staff are great Dining servers are in training and have challenges sometimes

Staff is great, lots of activities, lots of kind people. Some other residents have exhibited inappropriate behavior, but not entirely the facilities fault. Nice people. Communicate with my family well. Great facilities.

Spotlessly clean. Very friendly staff. The administration makes itself readily available for questions and concerns.

Highly recommend this facility.

The place is overall clean and my parents like the facility and their apartment. The issues have been a light odor in hallway, maintenance issues take too long and we have had to follow up multiple times due to calls not being promptly returned. The bus for appointments has been cancelled a few times as well.

Friendly staff, good quality food, caring staff. Ability to communicate with staff would benefit from improvement ie being able to communicate with direct care staff. Staff turnover frustrating at times. Charging [removed] dollars for food delivery x 3 a day is very expensive - and tray removal very slow. Mom is happy and feels safe here which is the family's largest goal

Great location to close by stores, grocery, restaurants. Daily activities. Covered parking. Good security. Call systems in each room. Grounds are well maintained year round. My advice, check at least 3 options in facilities before you decide, my experience has been that the biggest factor ultimately is any move in incentive is a plus.

The staff is generally very friendly. The caregivers have all been wonderful. Unfortunately, there are sometimes some lags in communication/organization at the beginning and we definitely are still advocating for our family member when she cannot.

Ciel was wonderful overall. There were some concerns around staffing or lack of in the memory care unit; however, an overall great experience I believe.

They provide transportation within 10 miles of the facility on designated days. Plenty of activities. A very nice facility overall.

Shuttle service, salon , dr visits all the other extra logistics for life stuff is what stuck out over other places.

Overall, very nice place, friendly staff, homey environment ; just not as much oversight as I expected. Edible items were not put out of sight , the floor was greasy , they did not ensure all paperwork was completed when we moved in. I was told to leave him alone for at least a week do he could acclimate. In retrospect, in his case, I should have been more hands on . He probably felt totally lost and abandoned by me. He was not being cooperative. There are so many things that seemed obvious to me that they ( the specialists in memory care) did not seem to consider. My husband could be difficult when prompted to change his pants and/or to take a shower. But he would brush his own teeth of offered the toothbrush, and he would drink or eat everything I put in front of him. He slept a lot during the day. They had scheduled meals, I do not know if they gave him food as needed when he was awake. I never saw water or coffee available. At home he always had a beverage easily available. I made sure he took his meds ok. There, I think they just set them in front of him and did not watch to see they were swallowed. ( at least that is how it appeared when I was there with no more than 4oz of juice). I think maybe the staff taking care of that wing were borrowed from the assisted living side (?). I could only maybe give some advice on looking for help with care. But everyone has a different upbringing, living environment, emotional needs ....

The place is bright, cheerful and welcoming. Rooms are spacious and bright. Large dining area separate from the activities area. Activities include walk around the facility (indoors on cold/rainy days), craft making, coloring, musical activities, dancing, trivia.

Facility is welcoming and clean. Staff is always friendly, helpful and courteous! Room sizes in memory care are better than most we looked at.

The activities get a 6/5, 6 they are exceedingly great. The staff is great. The people who plan and execute the events are stellar. Bingo, crafts, conversation, quiz stuff, all so great for my mother. The other residents are great too. Everyone there is so kind. My mom feels part of a community, she has more friends and social life now than she did than for the last decade before she was there. . They do a great job. We are happy there.

Very friendly community and staff. The apartment is a very comfortable size. And many amenities available.

Communication with the facility and staff can sometimes be difficult. They could improve on the food by expanding the menu options. Overall, I would recommend Ciel of Princeton to others looking.

After viewing quite a few facilities we determined this was our best option. From the first call to the numerous tours and meetings the staff was amazing, friendly and answered all questions with clarity. When we brought my Father in they went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable with this transition. We were able to develop and work through a care plan for him, transfer to the in house physician as well as coordinate pharmacy needs. The medical support and transport to his various needs has been well coordinated. The nursing staff has also been very compassionate and accommodating The facility is clean and modern. So far our experience has been very good.

If you are considering memory care for your loved one, make sure your loved one's ingestible items are locked out of reach, the floors are not slippery. Put their name on everything, monitor their oral care and ensure that food and drink is readily available.
