My dad has been a member of this community for just over a week and he seems to be adjusting very well, which, I'm sure for a 97 year old it isn't the easiest thing. Everyone has been so welcoming and kind, doing all they can to ease any of his anxiety.

Out of five I give them ten! We are happy, so far so good. The staff is very friendly, the friendliness is really what stands out. The sales staff was good, they didn't over promise and under-deliver. I didn't feel like I was being set up. This place really felt right. They really worked with us with our insurance. They made it easy on us, and that's important. Ryan is particularly good at her job, I didn't get the feeling that they were just trying to get people in either, it seems this is just how they are.

Enjoyed my brief stay

I found out through APFM and after we went to all these place, we found out one of my mom’s neighbors went there and loved it! Word of mouth for it has been great. The food could be a little better. She likes to play cards, but she’s doing a lot of activities. She’s making friends.

They were like a five star hotel, there wasn't anything that said old peoples home to me. The staff were all very kind and friendly. In the end it was the pricing that made us choose a different location.

We toured this community when we were looking into care options for our loved one. I was very impressed by what I saw here, it is a great looking community and the staff all seemed very friendly. We ended up choosing another community, but this would have been our second choice.

The Park in Plainfield is phenomenal, it's like a very nice hotel. It's beautiful, with gardens in the center and they are in an enclosed area. It's just gorgeous. The rooms are a good size, and they have quite a variety of rooms to choose from. It was just too big and overwhelming, like a hotel, a very nice hotel.

I was very impressed by this place, and I toured quite a few communities during my search! It was an attractive facility, very clean and well kept. The staff were also all very friendly and helpful. However I don't know if the atmosphere and location would have been something my loved one would be comfortable with. She is from the midwest and this may have been a little too upscale and urban for her tastes. I liked that at this community the base price included the first level of care, with the ability to add more services on later if necessary.

So far things have gone pretty well. I don't feel like I can really rate the activities because our loved one doesn't really participate. They are changing hands, so a lot of things could change. So far we don't have any complaints or see anything that could be improved. They were able to offer some services that others were not able to that we needed for our loved one and that is the reason we chose them over others we were considering.

Everyone at Huntington place is very friendly and helpful. They are interested in the happiness and well being of their residents. They are very professional in all aspects of their services. We are delighted that mom is at Huntington place where she is happy and we know she is not alone and is being well taken care of.

Very nice community. We are no longer considering this one. Memory care rooms are small. Sales staff are high pressure.

So far we are very impressed. The staff has been great, very friendly and helpful, and we have no complaints about the care services. We also really like the feel of the community, it has a homey atmosphere, very warm and friendly. Also the food is very good.

So far so good we are very happy. Very clean. The cleanliness and look of the place really stood out. The food is excellent. Mom has yet to find the right bridge partner. I can't think of anything as of yet that could be improved.

We are very pleased with our choice to move Dad to Huntington for respite care! The staff has been exceptionally caring and accomodating. The staff is well trained in Alzheimer's care and are helping us learn how to best care for Dad too. The facility is very nice, secure, the food is wonderful, and the activities seem to be very good for Dad in helping him to be more social. We toured many places and Huntington was a shining star among them in overall quality and value. We'd highly recommend.

I like the cleanliness, the dining area, the personalization. They do call you if anything out of the ordinary happens. In the beginning I was bugging them all the time. They were very nice and they put up with me. They advised me and set me in the right direction. I think they need more men's activities. They have a lot of women's things there like needle craft. They're trying to get a men's card came going and trying to get more men together. To compensate in the meantime, dad plays poker with one of the aids. Everything works - they take of everything. It's 2 year private pay and you have to be under $26000 when you go on medicaid. Other wise they don't keep you. That rule I don't like but they have seminars there to talk about this. It was cool that they take the extra step. They bugged me to come and they had a law firm come and explain everything. It was really helpful. The nurses are good too. They all know me and him. real personal that way. We're really happy with this place.

we stayed there for a couple of weeks. management did everything promised + more, the personell was super nice. we left because my wife who has alz did not like the place. because of her alz is the reason we moved there in the first place. we have 2 dogs but they made an exception to their 1 dog rule and even put a gate in back so we could let the dogs out to use the bathroom. the food was good. there is a lot of activities in house and trips to town, mountains, casinos etc. (some have a fee.) i would recommend this if you are in need of a independent living facility.

I haven’t been there yet but I talked to him every day and I’ve talked to him every day for 12 years. His family visits him and they like it very much, he says he is very happy there, he’s having the New York Times delivered and had me sign him up for a book delivery service; he didn’t bring all of his books from his apartment and he should have. Another friend who talks to him at least 5 times a week and has been there and says it's very nice. He had a couple bad times with his heart the first month so he was in the hospital just over night, he’s settled down now and its perfectly fine, he hooked up to HBO in addition to regular TV, he’s done a couple of the things, they have a cocktail hour once a week, he’s not the most social person in the world, I told him to start his own book club but they may already have one there. He loves the linen service he says he’s spoiled. I would highly recommend to anybody who is looking for a place.

This place is amazing. Not only the staff working there but the people really care. This one is top on my list. This place is perfect....

Ryan was awesome. This is a very nice facility, but I need a secure Alzheimer facility for my Dad. I wish I could afford the private pay to place my Dad here. I will certainly recommend this facility.

Excellent facility. Higher price, but lots of activities, good apartment layouts, and they were very interested in working with us to accommodate Dad's needs. I want to schedule a second visit for next week.
