I like the cleanliness, the dining area, the personalization. They do call you if anything out of the ordinary happens. The food was great. It's a very nice community with a very homey feeling. The place is very clean, and all the staff there is incredibly friendly.

The staff at Lakewood Meridian was very helpful with my husband and me as we were trying to help his parents adjust to their new life. It was not easy! Even though they knew that they needed to be where they were safe and getting the help they needed, they were not happy to be out of their home. The staff was attentive and caring towards all of us. They were always available to answer questions and check on our parents when we called as we lived out of state. If needed we would definitely use them again.

All questions that I have had since my Father moved to HarborChase have received prompt attention and answers.

The Solana...one of my favorites. I'm sure my granddaughter would choose this one for GG, if it were up to her. ?? Awesome amenities. Living quarters...extraordinary! Adrienne was my guide/sales consultant and a great one she was!! The RAISED flower beds were the first I've seen in my search and I absolutely love the concept!! The residents were very friendly, welcoming...made me feel at home! ?

We truly cannot praise HarborChase of Plainfield enough! From day one we felt Mom was in a caring, safe and kind community. The staff are very conscientious not only to Mom's needs, but also are very engaged with the family to understand what works best for Mom. They treat you like family. HarborChase was the first community we toured out of 9 communities. After our initial tour we felt right away that this was the place for Mom, and we were right! We are thankful for "A Place For Mom" referring us there and helping us through this difficult process. We would most definitely highly recommend HarborChase!

This is our first pick. We like this the best and are wanting to negotiate an apartment in this location for my dad. I enjoyed the staff and the guests. The grounds are unique. There is plenty of outdoor space.

She enjoyed her time there very much, and Barbara was very kind. It was very nice, she made friends. She was happy with the food. We were only there for a respite stay.

1/24/15 - Met with Sherry Moss and had toured the facility. Liked the atmosphere, facility was very upscale and impressive - clean, awesome amenities and activities. Particularly liked the 24/7 nursing, on-site physical/occupational therapy, hair salon and restaurant-style dining hall. The 1 BR Apartments are a nice size but only have 1 bathroom. Adequate safety and security. Monthly cost is at the upper end of the budget.

One thing I have noticed about the Village at Lowry is that they seem to be a little understaffed. Other than that everything has been great. Everyone there is just so pleasant, and they are really glad to be there.

My mother has moved into The Merdian. She was hesitate at first which is normal. After one month I asked her it she wanted to move back to her house and she said " no way" She wa living in the big family house alone for a few years and was ready to be around some nice people. We should have moved her to the Merdian a year earlier.

We were just there for a two week respite stay. It was clean and the staff is friendly. We didn't really have any complaints. The only thing was when we left we were missing a few pieces of clothing. But from what I have heard with any of these places, if you are worried about it, you do your own laundry.

Rooms are bigger than others, Clean, no odor, staff was friendly. Good first impression.

I pretty much like everything. I really don't have any complaints. I find them to be very, very kind. My mother has dementia. They seem to go over and above to make sure she was comfortable. They constantly reassure her, tell her everything was OK. There are a wide variety of activities for residents to do there. My mother mostly gets involved in things that had to do with music. She unfortunately isn't much of a joiner. The location is ideal for us, because I have seven brothers and sisters, and that is kind of centrally located in Washington township.

Although The Solana had some challenges in the past, I've been nothing but happy with the new management. The community has been more cheerful in recent months. The staff care a great deal for the residents and truly know them. Nothing is perfect but I am glad to see change for the good.

My loved one suffers advanced Alzheimer's disease and has lived in the memory care unit on the second floor since 2009. He is very comfortable and content at the Five Star. The program for entertainment and memory support is excellent and highly interactive. I visit regularly and appreciate the compassionate caring staff members. The residents on this floor are treated with respect and dignity. Nurses call me to let me know of needs as they arise. The cost is very reasonable for this level of care. I have compared the prices in multiple other memory care facilities. i observed that my loved one was content from day 1 when the family placed him here. He seemed more comfortable to be in the company of individuals suffering the same memory challenges he suffers rather than struggling with my help in public and in his old home. I immediately realized he is safer in a memory care unit than he ever was at home. He previously wandered away twice and it caused great worry. We also had challenges with potential kitchen fires. Another wonderful thing about the Five Star is they allow me to bring my dog to the memory support unit and encourage interaction with all interested residents. I always feel a sense of upbeat happiness, music, and nice decor while visiting. Residents have freedom on the protected floor to walk around in many different areas including a safe outdoor terrace. It is a wonderful place and I am truly thankful to the superb staff I have come to know over the years.

This is an absolutely beautiful place. My Mom loves it! Every day she looks at the schedule to see what she wants to do. There are so many choices of wonderful things, She is very happy there. The staff is professional and looks out for the residences. The maintenance is up to date and on top of any issues. It is worth the cost.

They are very clean, and the staff is very friendly. My dad likes it there, he likes the food, and he likes the people. This was such a great fit, we didn't need to look at other places.

I placed my mom, who has alzheimers there. She is doing well there and seems comfortable.

It’s very, very activity oriented, there are lots of things to do right outside of the facility, so even if your loved one – there is so many things to do. I have tried the food – it is decent. What’s great about this place – instead of a cafeteria style dining – it’s more restaurant like. The servers have bow ties and everything. There are lots of choices for the residents.

My mother and I were so impressed by 5 Star that it made her decision easy! She had not yet committed to moving to independent living when we visited the facility but everything about it helped to make up her mind. She moved in last week and so far so good!
