I think it's a great alternative for individuals who are ready to downsize from their home. I think it would be really great if they could provide additional storage. Most of the residents want to decorate for Christmas but there is limited storage. I think additional storage would be great. It has been a really good experience so far. Everything has been going really good. I would recommend the Bella Vista.

She seems to be happy so far. It's a beautiful place, and she doesn't complain about the food at all. The workers are nice, and she really likes it, I think. We don't have any major complaints at this time.

We're happy. So far so good. The people have been friendly and caring. The staff has been an issue for some people. They lost a couple of people because of that. They were able to work everything out. The facility is nice and clean. The Bella Vista is a really nice community. I would recommend it to anyone in the area. I can't rate the activities because my loved one did not participate in them. Not applicable.

So far we like it. It's a nice place, it's clean and the staff is friendly. The food is okay. I don't really have any major concerns or complaints or anything. I think, just like with any of the places, they could use some more aides.

Had a nice visit. Rita was most accommodating: gave a very nice tour. Residents I talked to were very positive. I could be very comfortable in space I visited. The rate per month seems reas0nablr.

Had a nice home feel. Residents spoke well of the staff and food. Newly remodeled apartments. Rita is very sweet and accommodating. Mom liked her very much. No washer dryer in room is only drawback.

Beautiful, modern, energetic, well-staffed, safe, and classy! Costs may be problematic, but definitely on our short list of possible communities. We will definitely be considering this location.

Overall I think they do a good job at Bella Vista. The facility itself is well kept and clean, and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. The only minor issue I've run into is that communication with the administrative staff can be a little slow. They'll get back to you eventually, but sometimes it can take quite a while.

Good Place

We visited this community when we were looking into care options for a loved one. This seemed like a nice place overall, but I don't think it would have been a good fit for my loved one. They are expensive, but they had a lot of different activities and services for that price. Unfortunately I think my loved one's care needs were too high to be able to enjoy everything they offered.

Nice but apartments are small and its a little far from family. Great amenities and price. The updates will be nice when done.

Very much like this place. Many levels of care and clean hotel like place. Friendly people, good activities and some reasonable outdoor space. Intake interview by nurse indicates that mom could be in AL, but the moment she goes shopping and gets lost, she goes to memory care and anyone carrying a dx of AD cannot live in AL. Folks there only have "senile dementia". Seems like a level of precision I don't think exists!

1st impression: lobby felt like a hotel! (built by Hyatt, we later found out). Apt. layouts - & views! - were appealing, also guest policies. Mid-day, the place was almost a ghost-town... (everyone was out and about, we were told - with their schedule of multiple bus outings daily). A plus: partnership with the college next door.

The people at Bella Vista did a really good job introducing us to the facility and helping us understand what the experience would be like for my mom. The facility itself is really nice, and very comfortable. You can tell the residents are very happy. The move-in process was a little bumpy and not as smooth as I would have liked, and there could have been better communication there. The biggest thing I can think of where they could improve would be the service in the dining area. Mom has complained about that several times, and I agree that it could certainly stand improvement. Overall though we are very happy with our decision to move mom into Bella Vista.

I don't think they communicate between the staff very efficiently, if at all. It's clean, but I think some of the care can suffer due to communication. The response time hasn't been great, but they are working on it. When it comes to the food, the generation that is there is a meat and potatoes generation, and the chef isn't a meat and potatoes kind of person. They have plenty of entertainment. I liked that they offered 24 hour nursing, and when I first walked in the building every staff member looked me in the eye, and made an effort to speak with us, as well as the way they treated the resident while I was there. There was a level of respect that others didn't always have.

My mom has lived in the community for several years. She does not require much assistance. I chose this place for several reasons.....location, peace of mind , and so my mom has a social surrounding. I am there often and the staff is very friendly. Everyone seems to have different experiences depending on the needs of their parent/s. I have brought up any issues I have encountered and they have responded to them in a professional manner. One concern I have is that there are not as many outings since the community has grown. It is difficult for the staff to plan these types of outings as the needs of the patients are varied. (physically and mentally). I don't have any other facility to compare.

Nice facility, friendly people. Looks comfortable for our parents.

This is a clean, quiet place, but did not have that extra 'home' feel to it although I did tour during a quiet time. The cost was about average to slightly higher than other options we considered.
