The people are food are great, I wish they would lift the quarantine so we could do activities. It's been 6 months since it was installed, otherwise it's been a great place.

Due to COVID there hasn't been to many activities, but beforehand they had beading classes where you can make jewelry, as well as painting and craft classes. My mother really enjoyed those two activities. Having been to a handful of communities this was the first one that felt like a luxury apartment first, before any sort of assisted living or staffed building. The initial impression was more of a normal living situation, everything felt very clean, modern, and recently renovated. My mother had a very unique medical situation and this community was the first and only place to really listen and give creative way to care for her and handle her needs. We felt the other places were not going to be well equipped for her, but this place really took the time to meet her and understand her needs and take a chance on incorporating her into the community.

One thing that really stood out to us at first was the overall atmosphere it was very nice, the rooms are decent size. The food was very good, the portion sizes were nice and had a variety of food to choose from. We would recommend this community to a family or friend.

We chose this community because of the double assist and the location to us. The room sizes are comfortable. Our favorite part about this community so far has been the availability of the activities for different residents capabilities. I would recommend Voorhees Senior Living.

When I was looking for a community for my mom, I visited several places in the area, and Five Star had the nicest environment, was the most updated, and felt like the closest approximation to a luxury apartment building. Also, Five Star was willing to assessment my mom, work with us, and accommodate her unique set of the needs. The nursing and administrative staff have been very friendly in accommodating our requests as well. They have nice amenities available for the residents including a gym, beautiful library, and a business center with computers and printers to use. The food is adequate, They offer a restaurant style dining experience with menus and a hostess. The dining staff are aware of each residents likes and dislikes. I am happy to have my mom in a safe and stable environment.

I liked the whole place--the apts. were very nice, the food was excellent and they even have a gym with the equipment I like. I am considering living here.

My Dad was one of the first residents of Fieldstone. He had lived at Charbonneau, now Solstice, for several years but had fallen and had to have a hip revision. We felt he would need help in the future and Fieldstone has assisted living as an option. He needed very little help until the last few months of his life. I won’t say it went smoothly all the time. My Dad was 92 and had been very independent so didn’t enjoy all the care! Or as he would say, they are always in my room! However, I will say that we were pleased with the caregivers. We made sure to be in close contact with them when my Dad began his decline. I would recommend Fieldstone, but like any place your parents may go to, you must be their advocate and have lines of communication open at all times. It is a large place which might not work for everyone.

We were told a lot of things about extras and services while we were touring and deciding to select and once moved in most was not true and struggled to get our calls answered. The apartment/rooms are spacious. There have been several issues with the medication program paid for each month to the point we have had to take back over the filling of prescriptions. The food is good but several times what is provided on menu is not actually what is being served that day. Actual selections and foods are ordered by corporate and not real change for options suggested by residents. There are really any outside activities planned except maybe once a month.

Caring staff was noticed, engaged residents, pride, I did notice an odor of urine in one section. Loved the time I spent with the coordinator. But not my choice, due to location and higher monthly price. Facility was nicely laid out, and impressed with reminiscent pieces found in the hallways, be it photography, a doll crib, old time photos, sitting areas, It is much further away from me, that was the drawback.

The tour was very nice; I chose an apartment and told my mother in a way that made her excited to see it. Then, I received a call that night saying that they could not accept her. I was quite disappointed. The nurse [Name removed] who came to assess my mother appeared to be totally unsure of herself, to the point t where she had difficulty expressing complete sentences. I asked the hospital nurse to have her stand to go to the bathroom so [Name removed] could witness and assess (as I explained to [Name removed]). Instead of witnessing this, she followed me into the hall , walking behind me as I tried to have a phone conversation. When I returned to the room, she was gone. I then saw her in the hall - she came in and che Jed my mother’s feet and buttocks. Soon thereafter I received the call that my mother wouldn’t be accepted at Washington Senior Living. Very disappointing.

Tour was personalized by a welcome message with our names on a board in the lobby - nice touch. Also received a gift bag at the conclusion containing carrot cake dessert - another nice touch. As far as the tour, we saw the different rooms available. It was amusing that a tenant riding in the elevator with us insisted on showing us his room and we accepted his offer. The fact that this was assisted living was driven home as we witnessed many folks in wheel chairs throughout our tour. If we decide that assisted living is needed we would certainly consider this as a viable option.

Very nice. Good layout. Good menu selection. Nice rooms. Good community. Excellent value. Very responsive lift and assist care. Friendly staff. Impressive.

Great facility overall. Definitely had many care level options. [Removed] was thorough in her tour with me. I rated this facility as highest potential for my families use.

My dad is in the independent living apartments here. It is an affordable option for us and that's nice. It is a lovely place. The lounge area is stellar, and the grounds are beautiful. There is always coffee and juice out. The staff is nice and patient. They provide 3 good meals a day. He is enjoying all the daily activities he has to choose from. They will give him a ride to the doctors office. I would highly recommend this community.

I was touring facilities for my Father and when I arrived here, I noticed that this was a brand new building. It was a very nice facility but it was a huge place. They have an Alzheimer’s unit and it is locked down so my Father wouldn’t be able to wander out of the community. While on the tour, the administrator told me about some of the activities like they have little concerts and family can even come to see. The other thing I liked is that there were staff members everywhere to keep an eye on things. However, I was not able to pick this community because it was too far away for me. I would recommend this facility to other families.

Of the two facilities I liked Five Star Premier the best. Now I need to research such issues as ownership and references. Thank you

I toured here when I was trying to find a place for my dad to go. Ultimately, we chose somewhere else due to the location being too far from where I live. It is a bit on the expensive side, but it's a beautiful facility. From what I saw, they kept it very clean and it was overall a pretty nice and fancy place.

This was a nice community it pretty much offered everything we were looking for. I would have felt comfortable with my parents living here. However, the location was a factor and it was just a little too far away for me. The staff was helpful and very nice. The community was clean and well kept looking very nice.

After enjoying the tour we almost went with them. They gave us a good tour and they even worked with us wonderfully because we were in a hurry to move in. It was helpful when they got the room ready for move in but then we realized the room was on the second floor and we need one on the first floor.

Things seem to be going ok for my grandmother. She had the family with her the first week she was there to help her move in and get acquainted with her new surroundings. She seems to like her new place she is starting to socialize. She has said she loves the food it was very good. The community is kept very clean and well maintained I think she will do very well there especially with the staff there. They are extremely nice and professional
