The place is bright, cheerful and welcoming. Rooms are spacious and bright. Large dining area separate from the activities area. Activities include walk around the facility (indoors on cold/rainy days), craft making, coloring, musical activities, dancing, trivia.

Facility is welcoming and clean. Staff is always friendly, helpful and courteous! Room sizes in memory care are better than most we looked at.

The activities get a 6/5, 6 they are exceedingly great. The staff is great. The people who plan and execute the events are stellar. Bingo, crafts, conversation, quiz stuff, all so great for my mother. The other residents are great too. Everyone there is so kind. My mom feels part of a community, she has more friends and social life now than she did than for the last decade before she was there. . They do a great job. We are happy there.

Communication with the facility and staff can sometimes be difficult. They could improve on the food by expanding the menu options. Overall, I would recommend Ciel of Princeton to others looking.

After viewing quite a few facilities we determined this was our best option. From the first call to the numerous tours and meetings the staff was amazing, friendly and answered all questions with clarity. When we brought my Father in they went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable with this transition. We were able to develop and work through a care plan for him, transfer to the in house physician as well as coordinate pharmacy needs. The medical support and transport to his various needs has been well coordinated. The nursing staff has also been very compassionate and accommodating The facility is clean and modern. So far our experience has been very good.

If you are considering memory care for your loved one, make sure your loved one's ingestible items are locked out of reach, the floors are not slippery. Put their name on everything, monitor their oral care and ensure that food and drink is readily available.

The response time for calls for assistance can be slow depending on time of day and number of employees working at that time. That said, they are open to feedback. It is a small personal facility. The staff to patient ratio is ok, but not great. There are several activities offered each week, but not many are well attended.

I wish they still gave baths verse showers. I would recommend them. The person who gave me the tour of the facility was the biggest factor in the selection of this facility. The pricing structure was also very important.

Nursing team is nice, but speed of service request can be better. Shuttle service and maintenance provide standout customer service. Coordinate with therapy vendors or service have been poor and slow. Dining can be improved and providing a menu for family to see, offering up alternate choices. Seems like everyone gets the served same. Food quality can be better as well. Overall clean and safe space that I feel is the right choice for my dad.

Decent community, though some lagging response times. People are nice but maintenance requests can be challenging.

Main negative was that she was moved out of her first room temporarily due to a roof leak and was not given the option to move back after the room was given to someone else. Very nice facility was fairly recently updated. Majority of staff has been very nice. Main negative has been a lack of staffing at times. Food is good, but sometimes her order is inaccurate. She is starting to go to some of these! Compared to other facilities in the area, the cost is very reasonable relative to the quality.

It has been a very good experience. They did a super job at Harbor Chase. It is very clean and the staff is friendly.

It was the best place I looked at for my mother's needs and also closest to my home. The experience was good.

Harbor Chase has been a good fit for my mother-in-law. With only 65 residents (and it’s not full) she doesn’t get lost in the shuffle. Her apartment with the outside patio is great. She real likes it. The food is good and the care staff amazingly friendly. These are the important things that make her happy. There’s been some staff turnover with the head nurse and the maintenance person which has caused some hiccups and we are hoping they will both be settled soon. I’ve biggest frustration has been with the financial department. We were given a month free and after four months are still trying to get that reflected in our invoices. This has been very frustrating but if we had to pick an area of frustration this is the least important to my mother-in-law’s happiness. The activities are ok but they do have some very good programs brought to Harbor Chase. The PT staff is very good too. It’s also a little unclear who we are supposed to contact if there’s a problem.

The facility is beautifully furnished and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, too. We ended up at another facility that was closer to more family members but we would have been very satisfied living here.

What we like the most about the community is the staff. The staff is aways friendly when i come and visit. I am there multiple times each week. Based on the experience we have had so far, I would recommend this community to other families

We chose Five Star Premier Residences of Yonkers because of the price and the location of the facility/ The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this facility to others looking.

There are plenty of activities available, and they have access to the independent living activities as well. The staff has been very communicative. It Never smells and is clean. I like how the residents have an option to have a primary care provider come to them, [name removed] , NP. She calls me after every visit with my aunt. She has been great.

The communication between staff and family members is not very good when it comes to scheduling appointments with doctors ,shuttling residents, or scheduling any kind of service. Appointment times seem to get lost or forgotten in between staff members.

Step by steps the tour of the facility and the professional approach by the sales staff and support group made my Mom and family comfortable. [name removed]and [name removed]took time out to ensure that matters were handled appropriately.
