I was not too interested in this community due to the fact that it was a high rise community. We just knew that this community would not be the right fit for my loved one. The tour was good and they were very accommodating and showed us everything it was a super tour.

This community is okay. more expensive but it was a good community and they have different levels of care is needed.

We had a great tour with Brookdale Dogwood Creek. It was in our top 3 choices for sure but ended up being a little pricier than we were looking for. It seemed like a really nice facility.

The cleanliness of the community, the friendliness of their staff and their care services get 10 stars. They have so many activities going on every single day. The value for cost could not be better and we are so pleased

This community is well run and friendly and professional. They have activities like sing a longs, and veteran day programs and even a thanksgiving dinner and more for the residents to do to stay busy.

Our family had an in person tour and the young lady who gave the tour was wonderful, she was fully of information which we appreciated. However we just were not in love with this community as much as another we toured, but we still had a great experience.

HarborChase gave us a great tour and the facility was beautiful. It was just too far away from my dads church and all of his friends.

HarborChase was not even open yet when we went for a tour and they really bent over backwards for us. The facility itself is beautiful. I really loved the managers philosophy, it was along the lines of "let her be our responsibility that way you can just enjoy her" and that really struck a cord with me. It ended up just not being the right fit.

I liked the community. The only downfall was it was too far from my home for visits.

We have not really been able to see the entire community, but our loved one tells us it is quite clean. She cooks for herself in her apartment so we do not have feedback over the meals. It is a little pricey but after everything they have to offer it is totally worth it. She is beyond happy right now, she enjoys all the extra curricular activities like bible study, bingo, road trips to the casino and to different restaurants. She even enjoys when they have ice cream sundaes and root beer floats.

I did a virtual tour with Brookdale and I really liked it. The lady who took me around on the phone made me feel like I was actually there at the facility and did a great job. The only reason we did not choose this one was because my dad did not care for the location.

Five Star just seemed very well run and organized, professional, and really quite nice. It was a great place, my loved one's 2nd choice in fact. They had a lot more going on activities-wise, but the apartment wasn’t as nice as the place he ended up.

Brookdale Vernon Hills is. Wonderful senior assisted living community! Everyone who works there is caring and exceptionally helpful! My wife and I moved my in laws into Brookdale 2 weeks ago and they made. What could have been a difficult decision and experience really easy! Everyone we dealt with knew how to make my in laws comfortable and feel very welcome!

Things are going very well so far, we have been very pleased with everything. It is very clean and the staff members are excellent. When we were moving our loved one in they were serving us fresh warm cookies.

On the tour we liked what we saw, and we do know our loved one likes it there but with the covid restrictions we just aren't able to see our loved one that much. It is a nice place, she has a suite with a refrigerator, bathroom and a bedroom.

We have not been able to socialize much yet because of covid but I think they have done a fabulous job of keeping residents safe and we all just got our vaccines. We have been able to go to the dining room recently, it is open for lunch and dinner for some people. This facility has a lot of walking paths and things like that so you do not have to go out on public streets which is very nice. It is also beautiful scenery. I would recommend to others looking.

My experience was limited due to my loved one's quick decline. The care the community gave was fantastic.

I cannot rave enough about Brookdale Vernon Hills, it is just the best place. The staff members here from the cleaning to management are incredible, friendly, and helpful. It is amazing and I would highly recommend.
