Overall, we were very satisfied with this facility except for one issue with the business office. They were hard to work with after dad passed. They charged us for 2 months after he passed and their reason was that policy was to give 30 day notice before leaving the facility. We were frustrated, but mom paid it and then contacted corporate. Corporate did apologize and said that shouldn't have happened. They are in the process of getting mom a refund for those 2 months. So beware of that possibility. Other than that, the facility had a really good atmosphere and was clean. There were times when dad wanted to go outside, but couldn't go alone and they didn't have anyone to go with him to take him outside. My elderly mom ended up going up there more often to be able to get him outside. Housekeeping was good and dad's room was kept clean. Communication was good. The food was good. I do think it's the best facility in the area and I would recommend them to friends and family.

HarborChase is very clean, the people that take care of my mother are great. It's the best place for my mother. The only problem I have is with the people who are running it. I'd give them 0 out of 5 stars. In February they had a flood and it destroyed all of my mothers stuff. I asked them, "Where is my moms stuff?", and they said, "We don't know". They haven't settled anything. They gave her a bed, but its not her bed. When you ask someone about it, like the director and the sales people, they say they will get back to you, but no one calls you back. The director gave me his number and said if I have any questions I could give him a call, but every time you call him, the mailbox is full. Again, the staff and workers who take care of my mother are excellent, but management is awful. I'm ready to get a lawyer and find out what I should do because I'm not getting anywhere with them. She had things that belonged to her mother. Sure, they gave her clothing, but it's someone else's clothing. When I ask about it they just say, "We will get back to you", but no one ever does. I'm sure they've already had to settle the damages with their insurance. We bought a long coat for my mother that was [price removed] because she moved in while it was cold out, and now she doesn't have that coat. I also spent [price removed] for her dentures, but they say they don't know where her dentures are either. Like I already said, the workers are great but I never get an answer from management. Out of all the places, this was the best and it's why we chose them. However, they promise you all these things and all these answers, but they don't follow through. I do like that my mother is always dressed, clean and well groomed with painted nails. That's very important as the care provided here is 200% better than the previous place she lived.

My dad loves HarborChase of Princeton. The residents are all very welcoming to new residents and make them feel comfortable. He actually just joined their welcoming committee, they really go out of their way to include new residents in everything. I like that all of the residents here are new since it is newer, so there are no cliques formed. What originally enticed him that if you do not like the entre you could get something al a carte and they have been taking that option away recently. There is not a lot of variety based off of what it used to be. I know that they are actively working on things though. Overall I would absolutely recommend the facility to others looking. My son is in the medical field and he was very impressed from not only a loved ones point of view, but from a doctors point of view.

HarborChase of Princeton is doing very well - it was a good choice. They're short staffed, but everyone is right now. The staff are wonderful and caring. Despite being limited in staff, they are very attentive and do the best they can with what they've got. And it's a clean facility.

We moved in during the middle of Covid, which was a hard time to move in. I'm sure it would be a different situation if there was no Covid. But considering the situation, everybody responded beautifully and the way they should have under the circumstances. Our living situation is good, although I wish housekeeping were a little bit better.

The meals and dining service is really good, before the restrictions on our tour they gave us meal to eat and it was really good. We talk to our loved one everyday and she is still enjoying the meals. I give this community all high ratings.

The staff members at Huntington Place community are absolutely excellent, we are very happy with our loved one being there.

It has very secured and open lush grounds. It is very well laid out. The staff are excellent. The food is average with a variety and flexible meals times. They offer numerous activities, daily movies in a really plush movie theater. I would highly recommend this community to other families.

I am very happy with the care my mother is receiving. I understand these are difficult times and they are following precautions, but now a worker has brought in the COVID and I want to be able to see my mother before something happens to her. Living longer, but not being able to see loved ones isn't exactly living. I wish they could put in place a way to safely visit, as it is obvious, the workers leave work and get to live their life.

Our family is big fans of Fieldstone Assisted Living and Memory Care. Both of our folks lived at Fieldstone for over a year. The staff was very helpful and available. They showed a lot of patience with the residents, especially our Dad when he got frustrated. They encouraged family members to be involved and showed compassion when both our folks' health deteriorated. We are so thankful our folks spent the last months of their lives at Fieldstone.

We even got to enjoy some entertainment the Saturday we were there. Unfortunately my mom was unable to move in as her health declined. It was a great place, I wished that she would have been able to make it her home.

[Name removed] needs to be recognized for her tireless efforts. This women is relentless in the goal to have everyone have a great experience during special events. This women is a WOW! All day long.

We like the community for my father. The staff was caring and we liked the cleanliness. The community had a lot of great staff for help with the resident's needs. They offer healthy meals and a lot of activities. We would recommend that other families tour this community. My father stated he did not want this part of town for his care.

It was a rough start at the beginning with miscommunication with the new marketing person, and issues in the finance department. I think we have everything straightened out now. My mom is feeling quite at home here. She is thriving more here than the private 24-hour care she was receiving before. We have been there during mealtime and the food looks very good, my mom like the food served. They provide snacks and juice for the residents during the day. There are activities for the residents to participate in. It is a very clean community. The staff is very friendly and very caring.

Mom likes the food and they also offer a snack bar in the lobby. The staff seem to be very good at caring for mom. They do have some newer staff so they do not always know the answer to a questions, however they do find out and get back to you. Mom has enjoyed some of the exercise classes they offer. The community seems clean when we visit and I would recommend it.

My mom's experience is going quite well! The facility is very clean and the staff is friendly and polite, and they are sure to cater to my loved one's needs. When we had a cleaning issue, the staff was sure to fix the issue immediately. The staff is also very good at convincing my mom to participate in activities and have some fun! She is very pleased with her experience!

I absolutely loved Fieldstone when I toured. The place was clean and very well maintained. Everyone there was very friendly and welcoming. The thing was that it did not seem like my mother would fit in with the people there, other than that this was probably the best choice for her.

My 91 year old mom is moving into 5 Star tomorrow and we have been working with the staff at 5 Star on this process for the past month. The Move-in Coordinator has gone above and beyond to assist us with this complicated move from Florida to NY City. The entire staff including the front door receptionist and the waitresses in the restaurant are very patient, competent and polite. As an example one of the hearing impaired residents was ordering her meal and the waitress was very patient in completing her order. The food is excellent, the portions are large and fresh and reasonably priced using the point system. The deserts are home made and delicious. All the public bathrooms were clean and there were many cleaning staff in the building each time I visited. The residents were sitting around the public areas talking and enjoying their time together. Many were watching the movie of the day in the screening room. My mom's 1 bedroom apartment is very large by NY standards and her view is breathtaking. I can't wait until my mom moves in to experience this great atmosphere.
