Rooms are bigger than others, Clean, no odor, staff was friendly. Good first impression.

I pretty much like everything. I really don't have any complaints. I find them to be very, very kind. My mother has dementia. They seem to go over and above to make sure she was comfortable. They constantly reassure her, tell her everything was OK. There are a wide variety of activities for residents to do there. My mother mostly gets involved in things that had to do with music. She unfortunately isn't much of a joiner. The location is ideal for us, because I have seven brothers and sisters, and that is kind of centrally located in Washington township.

My loved one suffers advanced Alzheimer's disease and has lived in the memory care unit on the second floor since 2009. He is very comfortable and content at the Five Star. The program for entertainment and memory support is excellent and highly interactive. I visit regularly and appreciate the compassionate caring staff members. The residents on this floor are treated with respect and dignity. Nurses call me to let me know of needs as they arise. The cost is very reasonable for this level of care. I have compared the prices in multiple other memory care facilities. i observed that my loved one was content from day 1 when the family placed him here. He seemed more comfortable to be in the company of individuals suffering the same memory challenges he suffers rather than struggling with my help in public and in his old home. I immediately realized he is safer in a memory care unit than he ever was at home. He previously wandered away twice and it caused great worry. We also had challenges with potential kitchen fires. Another wonderful thing about the Five Star is they allow me to bring my dog to the memory support unit and encourage interaction with all interested residents. I always feel a sense of upbeat happiness, music, and nice decor while visiting. Residents have freedom on the protected floor to walk around in many different areas including a safe outdoor terrace. It is a wonderful place and I am truly thankful to the superb staff I have come to know over the years.

I am 100% pleased with the services of this facility. Staff is very helpful. Getting my mother moved in was a good experience. My mom is happy and enjoys the people, activities, and dining hours that are offered.

I visited Bella Vista last week and was amazed at all of the services & amentities that they offer. I know, most communities offer about the same services but, Bella Vista goes over and above. Starting with their dining program. UNBELIEVABLE! The dining room is open from 7-7 and the residents can go in as often as they would like to.The meals were gorgeous,generous portions and they are DELICIOUS! Staff were very friendly and attentive.They knew the names of all of the residents. Their apartments! Don't even get me started! Beautiful! Everything was was more than I could ever imagine or wish for my mother. She will be moving in next week. She is so excited and cannot wait. We have been looking for a couple of months and are so pleased that we found Bella Vista.We must have researched and visited 10 communities. I am so glad our search is over.

Rita took a lot of time with me and did a great job, had lunch in dining room as this is one of their primary selling points; lunch was outstanding. 2 bedrooms are actually two 1 bedrooms with adjoining wall knocked out; spacious & both bedrooms identical. Like the area and the building undergoing renovation. Very nice place.

When I went to visit, the leasing staff couldn't stop talking about how great it is and how proud they were to be a part of Bella Vista. At the time, all I could think about was that I was just getting more "sales talk" just like I got at the other places I visited. As I looked around I saw smiling faces everywhere, beautiful surroundings, and my lunch in the dining room was the quality of a fine restaurant and yummy too! When my visit was only half way over I realized this was not "sales talk" at all! Bella Vista is everything and more than they say. Brought my Mother back to see Bella Vista the very same day. Mom moved in as soon as she could. She is surrounded by people who care about her (and I might add, they also care about me) is happy dancing along with all of her new neighbors. Now I'm the one that gives the "sales talk" to everyone I meet!

My mother and I were so impressed by 5 Star that it made her decision easy! She had not yet committed to moving to independent living when we visited the facility but everything about it helped to make up her mind. She moved in last week and so far so good!

Everything has been great here so far, we're very pleased with the community! It's a nice clean place, and the staff have all been very friendly. My Mom really seems to be enjoying herself here, and if she is happy I am happy! She's had nothing but good things to say about the food, as well.

My dad has been a member of this community for just over a week and he seems to be adjusting very well, which, I'm sure for a 97 year old it isn't the easiest thing. Everyone has been so welcoming and kind, doing all they can to ease any of his anxiety.

I found out through APFM and after we went to all these place, we found out one of my mom’s neighbors went there and loved it! Word of mouth for it has been great. The food could be a little better. She likes to play cards, but she’s doing a lot of activities. She’s making friends.

We toured this community when we were looking into care options for our loved one. I was very impressed by what I saw here, it is a great looking community and the staff all seemed very friendly. We ended up choosing another community, but this would have been our second choice.

The Park in Plainfield is phenomenal, it's like a very nice hotel. It's beautiful, with gardens in the center and they are in an enclosed area. It's just gorgeous. The rooms are a good size, and they have quite a variety of rooms to choose from. It was just too big and overwhelming, like a hotel, a very nice hotel.

My mother only lived a month after their move into the community, but my step father lived at Bella Vista another 3 1/2 years. They were very accommodating after my mother's death. I feel he wouldn't have lived much longer if he weren't at Bella Vista. There were many activities to be involved in. I know my mom would have loved it there if she weren't so ill when they arrived. My step father enjoyed trips to the casinos, happy hour on Fridays, and holiday celebrations in the dining room. We ate in the dining room many times when we visited and the food was always very good. The wait staff was excellent and dealt well with some rather demanding residents. I highly recommend Bella Vista. I am so thankful that A Place for Mom recommended it to me for my mom and step father in 2009.

I was very impressed by this place, and I toured quite a few communities during my search! It was an attractive facility, very clean and well kept. The staff were also all very friendly and helpful. However I don't know if the atmosphere and location would have been something my loved one would be comfortable with. She is from the midwest and this may have been a little too upscale and urban for her tastes. I liked that at this community the base price included the first level of care, with the ability to add more services on later if necessary.

So far things have gone pretty well. I don't feel like I can really rate the activities because our loved one doesn't really participate. They are changing hands, so a lot of things could change. So far we don't have any complaints or see anything that could be improved. They were able to offer some services that others were not able to that we needed for our loved one and that is the reason we chose them over others we were considering.

I'm enjoying this place very much! I'd give them top marks on all categories. I think the staff in particular are very personable, they learn everyone's names and their room numbers and just really get to know everyone. It's a very nice looking place, and they always keep it looking clean and well kept.

Everyone at Huntington place is very friendly and helpful. They are interested in the happiness and well being of their residents. They are very professional in all aspects of their services. We are delighted that mom is at Huntington place where she is happy and we know she is not alone and is being well taken care of.

Very nice community. We are no longer considering this one. Memory care rooms are small. Sales staff are high pressure.
