What we like the most about Columbia Crossing of Grandridge is the care provider staff, they are always friendly and willing to help when family members come to visit. We would definitely recommend this community to other families looking for a community for their loved ones.

Administration is resident oriented both financially and actively, multiple opportunities to go to lunch, dinner, ball game. Staff pays attention to the small things that make this a home.

I love this place! The people in my village are from all over, interesting, and very friendly. I have been made to feel at home living here. There are lots of walks and paths to walk and the neighborhood is wonderful.

We toured many different assisted livings and memory cares in the area and this was the one we felt was the best fit. My mom is thriving there and we love how great all the staff is. Its clean and the food is amazing. The care staff are really attentive their residents and are very caring. I highly recommend!

My mom was really struggling with living alone and was no longer able to drive. We visited many places before deciding on Huntington Place Assisted Living. I cannot say enough about how much her life has changed for the better since moving in. She really enjoys meals and the varied and interesting activities. The Activities Director and all the staff are friendly and loving. They keep the place clean and bright. The family always feels welcome. The price was very reasonable given all that is included. We are all so happy she made this move.

Our mother is at Five Star and she-- as well as we her family-- couldn't be happier with the quality of care. The staff are genuinely warm, friendly, very caring, in addition to highly capable. They are highly attentive, responsive, sensitive, and go over and above in taking care of her needs--from basic personal to nursing to physical therapy to technical and computer help, and more. They have become a second family to our mom. There are also interesting and fun programs/activities for her to attend, led by intelligent, knowledgeable and talented people. And the food is healthy, fresh and delicious. She has made many good friends-- amongst the residents as well as the staff. We love you, Five Star, for loving and caring for our mom so well!

We moved Mom in about a year ago. She is not a big social buff, however, the employees and staff have continually reached out to her and made this her home. I am so impressed with the Executive Director! She was our first contact on our initial visit and continues to do an exemplary job. Her and her team of employees are kind, intuitive, thoughtful, professional, motivated, and well-suited for this occupation. If anyone is looking for a place to land Mom or Dad, or both, you owe it to yourself to get acquainted with Executive Director and her staff, and take a tour of this facility. A big thanks to all of the staff members who take the time to personally get to know the residents. It is greatly appreciated!

I have been invited for activities and luncheons. Seems a very happy place with good appearance and care.

My experience with Meridian started when my parents were residents. They were very happy here as I have been. The staff is outstanding, this is by far our second family. I have a special day EVERY day. Very happy to be HERE.

I feel safe at Brookdale, that is my biggest concern. The staff is impeccable and I enjoy the Bible Study and eating with my friends.

I have had a great experience with HarborChase Long Grove. My loved one enjoys their time here. There are three meals a day served to the residents, and they have several choices to choose from. My loved one enjoys the meals and socializing with other residents. Overall, I would recommend HarborChase Long Grove to others for their loved ones.

The Brookdale Meridian community is very clean, and given the economy and inflation we think we are getting higher quality for what we are paying. The staff members are extremely nice - from top to bottom are just amazing. They are so friendly and kind it almost brings us to tears. The executive director especially is incredible and is more then willing to work with our family and is very approachable. The sales person we dealt with in the beginning was just okay, he was very much that typical sales persona and felt like a car salesmen. The dining service and the dining staff are incredible and really work their butts off. They are so sweet but when it comes to the quality of the meals - that could be improved. We ate a Thanksgiving meal there and we just did not like it at all. They do offer a lot of options, so we feel that if they just lesson the amount of options they have and focus on bettering the quality of the meals it will make a big difference. Our loved one has not participated in the activities but the ones we can see are very cool. When we first were touring we had residents coming up to us telling us how much our loved one would enjoy living here if we picked it - they even called it their home. On our loved ones birthday all of the staff members got our loved one a card and a small treat and even some of the resident's got him a gift which we were so shocked by.

We were impressed with the apartments we were shown. There are multiple options for very livable floor plans. We appreciated meeting staff who are knowledgeable and helpful.

We have experienced an extremely gracious and constructive introduction to the Meridian's staff and its facilities. We already feel embraced by a loving and dedicated staff that are great to be around.

Friendly atmosphere. I now have 3 couple friends. Staff is good. We liked the visit with the ambassador. We learned all of the basic things.

Our immediate impression of Brookdale during our first visit was great - very friendly and organized. Lobby and entrance patio was full of residents enjoying themselves.

Admittance and head of nursing, were especially helpful and caring. I'm glad they had respite care, it helped me a lot . My dad wasn't there long enough to identify improvements.
