Huntington place really cares about their residents. My father in law was reluctant but he has already improved since he started living there. More interaction with other people has made a difference. The staff are excellent. I can't say that enough. The facilities are welcoming, and there are many different activities and events he can attend.

They need more consistent staff. I don't know anyone except the receptionist. My son seems to sleep most of the time except for meals. No one seems to wake him and go to the activity , even if he says no. The dr I selected from your list along with his PA are useless. The food has gone down hill. I will sit with my son for meals and the plates are dropped in front of him and look unappealing so he ends up ordering hamburgers. It has gotten too expensive all around

The Senior facility is fabulous. Very social, welcoming and the staff is caring. The therapists do a great job. Nice dining room. Several activities scheduled for the residents. I highly recommend this Senior Living Home..

I love living in this community its a great place and the caring staff are very professional yet caring. The community is always clean and smells great! The staff are always kind and smiling in the community .

When I couldn’t find a place for mom, after searching high and low I finally came across Washington Township Senior Living! Let’s start with the staff, the tour I had with [name removed] was amazing she instantly made the place feel like home for mom. There are so many activities my mother participates in and actually wants to do ! The food is amazing, the staff all friendly, helpful and caring! Not to mention it is absolutely beautiful!!

My loved one was previously a resident at Brookdale Meridian Lakewood and the experience there was great. Communication with the family was good. I would recommend this facility to others, based on our experience.

Everyone has been attentive, when called upon the needed service is forthcoming, sometimes immediately, other times - perhaps, the next day. Priorities are usually well judged and aligned with the appropriate responsiveness.

Washington Township Senior Living is a really great place. People are very nice, it's clean, the food is excellent, I think there's a little bit of a wait for help if you call ,especially at night, but I'm sure that's pretty typical of most places. Overall, I've been very happy with the facility.

We are more than pleased! Great place, great people. I would tell prospective families that Brookdale is very well managed and being there is like a family who care and cherish one another. My Mother says, "She loves it at Brookdale".

All were very committed to their jobs. Communication with them was exceptional. Staff/nurses/pt ot. The food was beyond exceptional. I hope I never need a place like this but if I did I would stay there. It's more like a all-inclusive vacation!!!

My mom was in Brookdale for over six years, first in [removed], and then when she needed memory care, she moved to Vernon Hills. It was an overwhelmingly positive experience - first, when she was fully "together," she enjoyed all of the activities, the food, the accommodations, etc. Everyone was wonderful. Then, as she progressed to memory care, and her experience became different, I found a whole new group of incredibly caring, capable staff. I would highly recommend Brookdale facilities to anyone; these two in particular.

The facility is not overwhelming big, its clean and doesn't smell. The staff is really nice. Staff in kitchen go above and beyond with giving my mom treats and wrapping her unfinished food to take to her apt. House keeping does a good job each day cleaning up moms room. Ill give the staff a 5 at this time. I really like VSL and so does my mom. They said she is an asset for their community

Brookdale staff is very helpful and I appreciate their support with rides and technology. They are always friendly.

Everyone is so helpful and friendly and willing to do whatever we need. Lots of activities available. I'm so glad I can have my dog with me.

I came to Brookdale Vernon Hills in 2022 because I was totally lonely. I am still thrilled with the way of life here. There are so many activities during the day and evening that I have no time to get bored. I have found friends here that I enjoy spending time with. I can also just stay in my apartment when I need down time. The food is very good. Eating communally is so much fun. The management team seems very committed to making our lives the best it can be. The staff are friendly and helpful…every one of them. The front desk takes concierge duties to another level. And no one falls through the cracks. Staff meet regularly to identify people who need more help. My kids are thrilled that I’m here. And I haven’t been lonely or bored since ai moved in.

I live at Brookdale VH with my husband. We love being a part of the community. I walk down the hallway, and everyone says hello. I have breakfast with a group of friends every morning and we laugh over coffee. It's home.

We moved here in March 2023, after having done a fair bit of research on other senior living facilities. We found a community that genuinely seems to care about the well-being of its residents. Programs are available and plentiful, and the resident may participate to whatever extent he/she wishes. (There are many extra activities and wide-ranging outings optional.) Meals are nutritious and varied. Apartments are appropriately spacious, comfortable and secure. Nursing and other assistance is available to whatever degree required. Over all, we feel we've made the correct choice, and would do so again. Highly recommend Brookdale Vernon Hills.

The residents all seem happy as well. It's just a warm place. It does not feel like an assisted living facility. It smells good, everyone is nice and we like the privacy. It was one the better ones we visited.
