My stepmother was well cared for. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

Administrative staff is great. Doctors and nurses are great. Food and dining staff are great. Aides are a little inconsistent but overall very good.

Lots of activities. Exercise classes, craft classes, group discussions, monthly staff-resident meetings. Staff who listen to residents concerns. Excellent chef

This is specifically for the memory care unit. The staff are very friendly and helpful, but you definitely need to follow up on questions and requests. They are proactive about notifying me when my father has any physical accident or injury.

Staff is fine. More creative activities would be nice. There's an art room but no instructor. [name removed], my boyfriend, would be so much happier with a creative outlet. He needs to create art, but he needs to be led.

My mother said the coffee and the food were always excellent.

The facility is very clean. The food is very good.. administrative staff is fabulous. Any issues that come up are a very quickly addressed.. they go out of their way to get to know the residence and encourage them to participate. All in all, I am very happy with this facility.

Be persistent in trying to contact them. Especially if you are not a local person. Don't just send an email. It is very expensive. And small changes in care have big cost impacts. There have been past issues with care. Been positive recently.

The place is nice but there is no social worker to help with aid or the Dr is just a PA. Yes we would recommend this community to other families and have. But warn on limitations.

The staff is compassionately dedicated to assisting the residents. The same people care for my mother each day, which brings her comfort. The aides are just wonderful as is the social coordinator. Maple Point is the full package.

I would give a rating of 5 for all except Overall experience and value for the money. I would give a 4 for money value and a 4 for overall experience due to assessing level of care incorrectly and a very poor billing process. The facility is lovely. Very bright and very clean and the staff is wonderful. Very attentive and caring. They are very friendly and kind. They respond quickly to requests.[name removed], the community relations director had been very accommodating to requests. When I mentioned that religion and saying the rosary was important to my sister he organized a resident led prayer group that meets once a week.

The Chelsea was excellent. Unfortunately, a bit too expensive for us. But I'd recommend the Chelsea to anyone. Clean facilities. Great/friendly staff. Really the Only negative thing I would say is that they could do better with diet plans for residents to manage things like diabetes or other conditions.

The facilities immaculate, the staff was friendly, the food looked good and they had a number of activities available on a daily basis. The staff is extremely friendly and responsive. I just had some early hiccups with the administrative staff that kept them from being a 5. Those issues have since been resolved

Our experience has been mostly great. We have had a few bumps with wellness and medical care but they work very hard to correct any problems. As for mom she is a new women happy with her new home and active all day . She has made many friends and the staff treats her very well. We are very happy with our choice Thank you for all your help !

My mom has been here since Thanksgiving. She loves it, loves her independence. Has made friends here. It is easy to get in touch with the facility if you need too. Only negative I had was my mother had to go to the hospital for her blood sugar and I wasn’t notified until she was already at the hospital. I only live 10 minutes from facility so I was close enough to have been notified. Very good facility but like everything, you need to ask questions.

The meal quality could be improved. The focus on activities and being active and the staff is what I like the most. Yes, I would 100% recommend The Chelsea at Greenburgh to other families based on the experience we have had

[name removed] didn't want to be placed for any period of time or for any reason, so no matter what he was not a happy camper. I found the facility to be very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was always informed if there was a situation... he complained twice about the television connection. [name removed]loved the meals. He didn't participate in many activities... stubborn. I thought the cost was very reasonable for the services offered. I would consider Somerset Gardens again as a placement spot in 2025. [name removed] is a loner and doesn't think I need time off to unwind and get away.

My mom was only there for 3 weeks. She fell and hit her head, was in the hospital for 12 days then a month in rehab. She never went back to The Chelsea. She has been in her own home with 24/7 care. I think The facility could have had a closer eye on her knowing how unhappy she was. My mother was and still is a fall risk and they should have been on top of that! Everyone was very nice, even the maintenance personnel! The overall "watchful eye" is the main concern. I do, however, realize this was assisted living but still, to have her not checked on for who knows how long is very wrong. I even had to pay for the month she was not there for fear of losing the apartment. When she was discharged from the rehab facility, The Chelsea wouldn't take her back because she was even weaker and was 100% wheelchair-bound. What a disgrace.
