We toured Maple Pointe Assisted Living and it was a very nice place. It was more expensive than some of the other options. They also offered more than my loved one needed, she's not a very active senior. The cleanliness and friendliness were good, also.

We toured Somerset Gardens and it was a very nice facility! They offered more than my loved one needed, she's not a very active senior. This facility was also more expensive than some of the other options that we toured.

Everybody has been wonderful. The staff is super friendly and easy to work with. Sometimes you need to keep on top of things in order to make sure that your requests are being met. Overall I would recommend them to others looking with just a few caveats.

The staff is very accommodating. The facility is not overly full, which is nice. My loved one gets plenty of individual attention, and they're meeting her needs.

My loved one was only here for 3 short weeks. During the time here, the staff were wonderful. They went above and beyond for my mother and were very attentive to her needs. The facility was brand new so they were still learning and just getting started. There were not many activities going on while she was here, but by the time we were leaving they had added a lot of new programs. It was overall a positive experience.

They make sure, my love dones meds and physical therapy are always a priority. The staff turnover is high, and the food quality could be improved.

People are nice, the care needs improvement. We were told she would get 3 showers a week, she's lucky if she gets one.

They have done a very good job in providing care for my loved one. The staff communication with the family is good. There are areas such as food and activities that have dropped recently. It would be nice to see more variety and quality of food offered to the residents. The community recently lost their bus driver and they haven't replaced this position yet and now the residents aren't able to go on field trips and the residents are missing these activities.

The staff during the tour was wonderful. The community was more than we wanted to spend, and the community was too large for my loved one. I didn't feel as a welcoming and a homey feeling when we walked into the community.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. They are trying very hard. This is a newer community and have been open for about nine months. The staff they have are very good; however, they are understaffed and working on it. There is a movie theater that they could show more movies geared towards the residents genre. It would be nice to see religious activities coming into the community. They are trying very hard, overall.

The staff seems helpful and friendly is a positive The activities are geared towards bingo and childish games Also, they don't have car services for the residents to go to doctor appointments as part of the price. My loved one sometimes feels like a prisoner

Our family had an in person tour and it was a nice tour experience but we are just knocking it down a star because it just did not seem as clean as other communities we had toured.

We like the people there are very nice, they take time to talk to you when you come to visit. Sometimes the care does waiver and occasionally they do need more staffing

Just like everyone else they are struggling with staffing due to all the Covid regulations. The nursing staff is not what it was when our loved one first moved in, they could use more aides who listen to the residents and families.

Our tour experience with Atria New City was great. They really took their time with us and were thorough in answering all of my questions that I had. The facility is beautiful and brand new. It is state of the art and really has all of the bells and whistles. The price was very expensive and they seemed set on that and did not want to come down, so we went with another facility.

Overall I am happy with it.

The Chelsea at Sparta is a beautiful place, and brand new. I was very happy with it. The only trouble was that after I toured here, my loved one's care needs increased beyond what they were able to accommodate. Also, they were located right next to a railroad track and a ShopRite, which was not desirable.

I thought they were very nice. In terms of the level of care I had to go with another community.

The people are really very kind and compassionate. They seem to know exactly who my loved one is, and they know who I am when I walk in the door. It's a very clean facility. They do have activities, as much as they can for people in cognitive decline, and the people who run the activities are very nice. All these types of places are very expensive, but compared to other places I looked at, Somerset Gardens is less money.

The community has been COVID free. It gets more expensive each year due to the raise of rent. You have to give a big down payment which the community keeps. If you have to move out then the community would refund your payment. If you can afford this community compared to other communities this is the place to be. The maintenance is about half of the other communities. I would recommend the community to others.
