Chelsea Senior Living

My aunt is currently living there, and our experience with the management team at Chelsea has been excellent. They’ve been incredibly helpful in getting new residents settled in and truly make everyone feel welcome. We really appreciate their support and care throughout the process.

Mom is doing great there it took a bit of adjustment but the place is clean, her room is nice, she seems to be satisfied with the food, the staff are very nice, and they engage the residence in a lot of activities.

I recently visited The Sinclair at Port Washington. The sales team was amazing and knowledgeable, making me feel extremely comfortable. I was able to see virtual plans for the big renovation. Everything is going to be absolutely stunning, both in the immediate and near future. The other staff were extremely warm and welcoming as well, from the concierge when you first walk in to the dietary staff and the rest of the management team that I met. I also got to experience the dining and I must say, the food was terrific! Chef [name removed] came out to introduce himself and he couldn’t have been any nicer. The activity calendar looked full and exciting with a lot of fun things planned! Lots of options of things to do.

The building was beautiful and the salesperson that toured me was a complete professional. When my mom is ready for the move, Sinclair will be our choice. Although we did get a chance to have lunch at the community, I was blown away by the menu choices presentation of the meals being served.

I recently visited and was so excited to see everything they have planned. The apartments are huge and it seems like when they go through the renovation they will be right out of a magazine, although what I saw was already very nice. The main floor is already beautiful and the plans for what to come are amazing! [name removed] and [name removed] both spent time with me and my family and are incredibly knowledgeable and patient. I had lots of questions. They asked us to join for dinner and it was like eating at a fine dining restaurant. That put us all over the edge. I have nothing but great things to say. Number one on our list! And the price for what you are getting is incredible!

I recently toured The Sinclair and learned of the upcoming renovations. There are new owners and the community is now "rental" which means you can just rent an apartment instead of putting down a large buy in fee. They have a few upcoming events which I will make sure I check out.

Incredible place! Exceptional person in charge!!! We loved everything . We are on the waiting list for a 2 bedroom.

The Sinclair is a beautiful senior living community now and will be going through an incredible transformation in the coming year. Residents are so welcoming and looked happy and engaged with eachother during my recent drop by during a happy hour. Afternoon happy hour with music and good friends is just what I am looking for An impressive community just a few minutes from Roslyn and so close to Downtown Port Washington. Recommend a visit to see for yourself.

Great experience on a recent visit to The Sinclair. Was so easy for me as I live in Roslyn. The Sinclair is perfectly located between Port Washington and Roslyn Right next door to golf course and so close to North Hempstead Beach. Looking for future for senior living for a dear friend. Warm, welcoming and everyone was so inviting during the hour spent at The Sinclair. Truly looks like a great Independent Living community. Highly recommend a visit.

I want to say [name removed] who handles the interview at Maple Point is wonderful to deal with. She gets back to you with answers to any questions in timely manner. She was so helpful especially since I wasn't sure of move-in date and we were back-and-forth for a couple of months as to when I was getting Dad here. The staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. They keep the room and areas clean and the menu seems good. Complaints about food from residents there seem to be because it's not the type of food they like, (they are used to) not how it tastes. As far as activities for the women in there seems to be a lot and they try to get them involved. They don't let anyone eat in their room unless there is a reason they're sick, etc. For the men (it's my father there )not as much activities, but there are two groups in sports and a card playing one that they can join. From what I see, there is definitely more women's activities.

Everyone we met was friendly and professional. The Chelsea was clean and a nice atmosphere. Staff and residents seemed happy to be there. I believe my mother would be happy there and be cared for in a professional and caring manner

Maple Pointe is a beautiful place! My husband and I were greeted by a friendly staff member and our names nicely noticeable on a plaque. What a nice touch! We toured for our dad and felt reassured that he would be taken care of. Thanks to [name removed] for giving us a wonderful tour and answering all of our questions. Definitely a place to consider.

Visited my Aunt at the new Sinclair. Had not been to visit since the purchase in May. Impressed with the staff, the positive changes in the community spaces and also the delicious lunch. Looking forward to the changes take place over the next year. A gem of a community now and into the future.

The Sinclair at Port Washington has transformed itself since new ownership took over in [date removed]. The culinary program is out of this world with Chef [name removed] with daily specials and incredible entrees' with flare and class. The Lifestyle program has stepped up with activities from what they're calling Sinclair Signature Programming. Activities from Lifelong Learning, Social Responsibility, Cultural Arts Collective, and Vibrant Wellness Programs to name a few. This community is vibrant in all way. And the best part is it is no longer a buy-in, but a 30-day to 30-day rental with three meals a day and housekeeping as part of the rent and all the other aforementioned. Did I share there is even Valet Parking.

I visited the Chelsea and had a good experience. It was far better than the others that I have visited recently. The staff was professional and the building was very clean. I particularly liked the gentleman that showed me around, he was very personable and explained the entire process if we wanted to move mom to Chelsea. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking.

My Mom is enjoying The Chelsea at Brookhaven. Everyone is so nice, helpful and friendly. There are a lot of activities that keep her busy. She is very happy there!

The staff is very nice and the facility is well cared for! Room size is good even the one room fits full size bed room set recliner and shelves bathroom is large.

Staff is So easy to talk to and get help if needed. Everyone is very kind! My dad really likes it here - lives the food!

From the moment I met the staff I was met with kindness and understanding of my financial needs caring for my Mother . The move was convenient around my schedule to transport my Mother to the facility . My Mother adjusted easily and I’m very happy for A Place for Mom finding this location for me . The facility is recently new and looks great .

Chelsea Senior Living in Washington Township has been a wonderful home for my grandmother. The staff are warm, caring, and attentive, and she truly enjoys the activities and meals. We have peace of mind knowing she’s safe, happy, and surrounded by such a supportive community.
