The staff is super, super helpful. And the location is premier. I highly recommend Maple Pointe.

I give The Chelsea 10 out of 5 stars, they are absolutely amazing. They have 3 or 4 choices at meals and if they do not like what is served, they have many other choices that are always available. They have snacks as well so I have not had to provide any food at all. I know that he has all that he needs. He is socializing the best that he can, he says hi to the people in the hallways and he sits with the same group of people at meals every day. They provide full medical services here, I do not even need to bring him out. They do blood work, x-rays etc. The only thing he has to go out for is the heart doctor and they are helping me facilitate that. I really like that he has a full wall between him and his roommate and it is sound proof. It is the perfect amount of space as well, not too big and not too small and he has a little kitchen area. They follow all of the state rules and keep the residents safe. Staff are amazing and are very respectful of him and check him every 2 hours. He is invited to all of the activities they have provided, he is being more active than he has been in years. They are doing trick or treating today on Halloween, they have service animals come in, celebrate certain nationalities and have that type of food, etc. It is in a busy area so there is not a lot of land, but they have a beautiful fenced in area and they have a garden that the residents tend to. I think the pricing is very fair considering everything that they offer. They re-assess the residents every 6 months and the price varies depending on what they need. The staff are super sweet and genuinely care, they have also been amazing with communication. It has made it so that I can be his daughter again and not his caretaker. I know that he is safe and I do not have to worry about him. I woke up after we moved him here and I instantly felt peace. The residents here really impress me. Whether they are in assisted living or memory care, they are happy and friendly. They are all doing what makes them happy and a few people I have talked to said this is the best decision they have ever made. Visiting hours are 24/7, you can go whenever you want and there is no limitation. They are very open, the staff mentioned that they said we can get a camera installed if we want and I thought that spoke volumes, it was something I had never even thought about. The transparency is very comforting and it says a lot about their whole business model. We have been very happy with the experience, I cannot say enough good things about The Chelsea.

I loved the staff that took me around for the tour, they did a really great job. We have a very large family and there were not as many large community areas where we could get together. The rooms were also a little more dated and felt like a dormitory.

I am very pleased with the care my loved one is receiving. The staff go out of their to make my loved one feel welcomed. The community is good at trying to match the residents up to form friendships. The staff communication is very good, they send photos, texts, and more to keep me updated on my loved one and what they are doing. The staff are very kind people. There are three meals a day served to the residents, and they have choices to choose from. There was a recent change in chefs in the community.

The treat our parents with dignity and respect. They are well cared for. They know us by name because we stay involved in their care. It is a comfort to know we can come by or call anytime and know any questions will be answered. Clean and homey. Professional care and understanding to their needs.

Very friendly very accommodating staff, pretty much can help you with anything you asked for.

We toured with The Chelsea at Brookhaven and it was beautiful, everything is brand new but unfortunately it was way out of our price range.

The Residences at Plainview has a very friendly atmosphere to it and the staff are very easy to work with. They are very easy to get in touch with and answer any questions we may have. They made the move in process extremely easy and they were so helpful, they helped move in large furniture and they had balloons and a bouquet of flowers waiting for our loved one inside her room. They send out the activities schedule to the families which is nice. We have been very happy and we would definitely recommend this community to other families.

What we really like about The Chealsea is the staff first and foremost and then the cleanliness.

Our experience with The Residences at Planview has been terrific! My sister, who is [age removed] years old, lives there. They're doing a great job; we're trying to arrange for her doctor(s) to come in. It's a beautiful place, we're very happy. The apartment is beautiful; it's a large apartment with a full kitchen. They're having trouble with their main kitchen right now; the chef has left and they're in the midst of change, but I think that will be resolved soon. She's delighted and I'm delighted - it's a great residence, it really is.

The facility is beautiful and the staff is great. From[name removed] at the front desk to [name removed] the Director of Community Relations to [name removed] the Executive Director, they have all been great! The staff has made my step-fathers transition into assisted living a very good experience for him. I would highly recommend this facility to any family!

We are very happy with moms placement. She is now down in memory care (might have needed to start out there but didn't) & the care is better. She had many falls in Assisted Living upstairs. There's a brand new executive director of Somerset - my review is under the old ED>

Newer facility. Menu looked good. Very good activities listed. Phenomenal staff. I would move in there right now. It's like a resort.

I would make sure you look into the community to make sure this would work for your loved one. The staff were good to work with the family. The community was able to assist with bathing, dressing and hygiene care as some of the care they offered.

The staff is very welcoming and the community is immaculate.

This was a great tour experience and a brand new community but my loved one felt like he would get lost in this community and we felt like this would be an issue. It also was not all inclusive and this was something that we were looking for for our loved one.

I have told a lot of people about this community. i think that this is a great community but you do need to be somewhat independent because this is not assisted living. My mother has been nothing but happy at this community. They have activities like exercise, physical therapy, arts and crafts and more for the residents to have a good time at the community.

The Chelsea at Greenburgh is an absolutely gorgeous facility. The activities that they provided were higher level and they had more intellectual lectures and things like that, it almost felt like you were back at college. Unfortunately it was too expensive for us.

we toured Maple Pointe Assisted Living and the community itself looked lovely. on that particular day that I chose to tour, there was an odor. I'm not knocking the community because of this, as I know that most times that is not a recurring issue. that just so happened to be the case when we visited. I'm sure their aides and caregivers work hard to take care of their residents. it's also important to note that all of these communities have an amazing sales pitch, where they ensure that they can fulfill everything you're asking for. often times when you actually move in, it's a different experience than what was sold to you during the tour. a lot of these places are also very understaffed. I'm unsure if that's the exact case with Maple Pointe as we chose another community - it just boiled down to proximity and our budget.
