Sometimes care of elderly is excellent - sometimes residents seem to be ignored. Depends on attitude and work ethic of staff members that are working a particular shift.

Our mom is fairly new there. They were very helpful during the initial induction process. She was initially there for respite care and then it became long term. It was nice that they accepted mom since she is 97 and wheelchair bound. The facility is clean and well maintained. The staff has always been very friendly and accommodating. The place is not inexpensive but it appears to be on a par with other facilities in the area that can cover a variety of the resident's needs. They are taking good care of her health although now some of the long term care has been handed off to a hospice program. They appear to have numerous activities but mom does not participate in many of them. The downside is the food. We know they must cater to a number a dietary needs but it would be nice if they could cater to the individual a little more. The major complaint from mom is that most meat items are cook beyond the point of being edible. Meats tend to be hard to cut and chew. Other than the food, mom is happy with her stay and her apartment. The family is pleased.

Our tour director was very friendly but the staff we came in contact with did not seem friendly. It looks nice and clean.

We picked tesson heights because it had the same look and feel as the assisted living facility my mom moved from in Illinois. At less than half the monthly cost. Everyone there was very welcoming and continue to be very friendly and that all helped mom settle in very quickly. Assisted living in Illinois is different from assisted living here. So mom is actually in independent living with extra services from the senior helpers. There was a bit of a learning curve at first for both mom, me, and the senior helpers. Mainly because in assisted living everything is included. But after that, we're all good. Bottom line, we are so happy with mom being at tesson heights.

I liked this facility it was very bright and the people very nice. The room size was a concern. The bedroom was large enough but the living area seemed small for two people.

A large place. May be difficult to walk to events. Respite care room is fartherest from dining area. The room is very nice and well furnished, except they would not provide a recliner for sleep.

Placed my mom in Cedarhurst of Naperville in [date removed]. Had some communication issues in the beginning. That's the reason I'm only giving 4 stars. Although this has improved a lot since [name removed] has come as Regional Director. Thank you [name removed]. The first thing I look for is attitude of the staff. Everyone has a smile, is quite cordial and they seem to like what they do. This, I find to be important. There are a lot of activities in the day to keep the residents busy which is great for my mother. Occasionally they go on outings and have entertainers come in. My mom has transitioned well. She eats in the dining room atmosphere, her room is clean, laundry is taken care of and genuinely seems happy. In my observation this seems true of most the residents. Thanks to[ name removed] and all the staff in Memory Care for taking great care of my mom. Thanks to [name removed] for bringing her great compassion and organizational skills to the facility. Thanks to Miss [name removed] for keeping us up to date. And a special thanks to [name removed] for all the time you spend as the Entertainment Director. My sisters and I appreciate all of you more than I can express.

This is a brand new facility. I really liked the warmth of the building and that it was not huge. My mother has been looking for a place and she really seemed to be interested. I am hoping she picks here because it is close to my home and the staff were very nice and friendly. The lady who helped us was not pushy at all so I'm not sure what that other person is talking about. As a matter of fact, she said she would help us with any senior information and even told us what was in the area. She also gave us some information about Veteran's benefits my mom may be able to get. I would recommend this place and I am really hoping this is where my mom goes.

My aunt has lived here almost since the place opened. It started off great, then there seemed to be a lot of staff changes last fall, which concerned our family. We decided that it was not a good idea to move her around and around especially since she loves being there and she was still getting the care she needed. Thank goodness she stayed. She is so happy and has made good friends there. The staff seems to have stabilized too. I was able to attend the last resident meeting and hear all of the good things that the people had to say. They only negative I would say is there are sometimes kid like activities and not for adults. Not all of them, but some of them.

Mom is settling in very well! It was difficult for her to leave her home of 55 years; however, now that she has been at Hamilton Place for 3 months, she realizes it was time. She comments all the time that she is comfortable and that everyone is so nice. She enjoys bingo and some of the card games. It is a great comfort to know that mom is well taken care of and safe every day! Thank you Hamilton Place!

The facility is not very appealing. Looks old and dated on the inside. The hallways leading to the apartments are drab and lifeless. However, the apartments are very nice - much nicer in layout design and size than [removed]. Also - they didn't have any record of my appointment and the receptionist had to show me around.

Our mother has received excellent care at Autumn Hills over the past three years. There is occasional turnover of staff that can be frustrating (true at many health care facilities, I'm afraid) but there are also many deeply caring people there, in all branches of the organization, and overall, we've been extremely happy and grateful to have found this place for our Mom.

My mother has lived at Autumn Hills for nearly three years and the care has generally been excellent. Because pay is so low for health care workers, there can be a fair amount of turnover, but the training for new hires is excellent. The activities department is wonderful, and there are many deeply caring staff throughout the facility.

Really liked the facility and the home feel when you walk in. Nice size for my mom's needs. Love that it is only one floor. Still on my list; however, mom will only consider a one bedroom apartment at this time.

The food is the bestest complaint I hear it is either cold or just not good I’m thinking a whole new cook might be a thing or get someone who really knows how run the kitchen maybe hire a chef and more down home meals

Nice place. Clean and had the largest rooms of any community I have visited.

revisited site and got very good guidance from the director of the location on dealing with the situation that we are currently dealing with. Rooms are a little dated along with the carpeting.

Great. Caring. Flexible + helped me find a new home for my grandfather. They really made this transition possible for me. We love his new home!

Mom has lived here a little over a year. I've been pleased with the nursing staff recently calling when she has fallen several times. They also took her some meals when she didn't feel up to going to the dining hall these past few weeks. The administrator and a couple of her staff have shown concern in checking on her these past few weeks when shes been ill. Thank you

My mom was here for respite care and unfortunately she was only there 3 weeks before she passed on. But this community wan nice and clean.All the residents seemed happy and always smiling. She had a spacious room all 6 siblings fit in here in my mom's last days. The staff was really attentive to us and hospice came in to make sure she was comfortable. They have a theater room and looked like they had many options to choose from in the dining room. They are pet friendly and had therapy dogs come in and visit.
