The staff is good The experience Is OK but the front desk is very slow. Need better care there.

I'd probably say 4 of 5. The people are very professional and responsive. They communicate fairly well and Mom likes them. The building is clean and in good repair. Mom is clean, well fed, and looked after well. It would be nice if she had more stimulation and regular exercise, but she is blind and has broken both hips, so there's only so much that can be done. I feel very comfortable having Mom there, and I sincerely hope she never has to move.

Facilities are nice enough and he likes his apartment. The director here is loud and boisterous and always has a kind word and dad is crazy about her. Staff have been nice too. The food continues to be the problem. Understaffed, they have to wait too long to get their order and they serve A LOT of chicken. I have even made suggestions to the corporate chef about giving more control to individuals - like a salad bar, or serving a meal family style. Haven't seen any movement towards the quality of food

My friend is very happy at CedarHurst. She says the food the is excellent and the snacks are yummy. She has made some friends and she is content with her new living arrangements. I am very satisfied with the care she is getting.

Can't give a five there's always room for improvement. The staff was very very nice. You still are to this day. Very helpful. They were the only ones that would accommodate us with some furniture since this was going to be just a short to medium stay that really made the decision for us

The apartment size is perfect for mom. The best part was they had a bed, chair and side table which made it easy for us to get mom moved in quickly. The room was clean. Shower was a little dirty but I think it has been getting better with her living there. With mom being blind some of the activities are hard for her to participate in and with the director of activities being out there has been a struggle but my dad is there all the time so that doesn't help. Staff have been good but dad has noticed a lot of new staff and with mom being blind that is tough for her because she can't really see so she relys on voice and sound. Overall it is way better than her being at home with dad. We have had meetings with the director and talk is good but haven't seen follow up in all cases. Yes, we would recommend the community to other families.

To complicate my mother’s challenges with dementia, she experienced five falls and serious injuries in seven months at a previous facility. Cedar Creek was the only care facility of four that I visited that had a motion detection system installed. That was a very important factor in my decision making process. They also let me install my own motion detection in the form of a Ring camera for added security and observation. The administrative and care staff have been very positive and open to discuss and resolve any concerns that may arise in a timely manner. Everyone is treated like a member of the Cedar Creek family and work together as a team to provide adequate care. Cedar Creek is a bit smaller than other care facilities that I visited and occupies only one level, thus making it easier for residents, families, and staff to move around more freely. They also offer a broad variety of activities throughout each day and apply individualized strategies to encourage residents to engage in their social activities. An in-house physical and occupational therapy area, as well as a hair salon are also a big plus. Initially I did’t have very high expectations for my mother’s physical or cognitive improvement. However, I believe she has reached and seems to be sustaining a higher level of both for the time being. After almost three months of residency, she has said several times that she really enjoys staying there and working with the staff. That’s huge!

Overall experience at Cedar Creek was very good. ALL of the staff were very caring and thoughtful in their interactions with our mom. Cedar Creek offers usually 5 activities every day, and we underestimated how important that would be for her daily living. They offer an app that communicates the activities offered, which ones she attended, general announcements, and messages between us and the staff. Cedar Creek's care for someone even with mild dementia worked well for us prior to needing memory care. Cedar Creek seems somewhat unique in offering 5 different levels of care for residents in an assisted living facility- some facilities offered one level (and if you needed more they recommended a full time nursing care facility elsewhere). This allowed mom to stay here and enjoy it. The whole facility was clean and well maintained. Apartment size is not huge (320 sq ft?) however it worked very well for Mom, and she was thoroughly happy with it. In the rare event that something happened (e.g., an illness) the nursing staff reached out to us quickly. Their guidance to us with respect to helping mom take the steps to moving into an assisted living facility for the first time and various other stages in the last 14 months was very helpful.

Pro's Staff, is very friendly, respectful, professional. The food, is awesome, per [name removed], you don't have to order the the daily men, many options are available. Entertainment, is nice, and the salon is really great, the attendants do not have to leave the premises. There's 3 different sizes of apartments. [name removed] enjoys going outside at his convenience. The only con's Would be, they keep losing electricity when it storms, the internet is real slow, and the studio apartments are not equipped for a standard wheelchair accessible. However, we have made adjustments. Overall, [name removed] like it there, and they treat him with respect.

I've had a really good experience. Staff is good. Communication is good. Really happy with their medical staff.

Very clean. Staff was attentive. Staff worked really hard to make the transition to memory care as comfortable as possible. Staff was very supportive of family as we struggled with the transition. Communication with the medical providers that see patients on site was great.

The facility is only 6 years old. Everything was clean and neat. Personnel were friendly and helpful to residents. The apartments had good-sized rooms. There were several types of apartments from which to choose. There were few residents out and about. It may have to do with our timing which was 11:00- 12:30. The facility was bright and airy. The gathering areas like the craft room or fitness seemed small to me. We had lunch which was restaurant style. One can eat at anytime, not fixed time. The food was tasty and good-sized portions. The facility was one story. There were many activities on the monthly schedule. Our questions were respectfully answered. One brings one's own furnishings. Apartments open to patios or the court yard which has raised beds where the residents can grow and tend flowers and vegetables. house keeping and laundry are once/week with laundry machines are accessible if residents wish to wash their clothes. Services are all-inclusive.

We have overall had a great experience with my mom & dad. The majority of the staff is very good, with only an exception or two. Dad loves the therapy room, and utilizes the exercise bike. The apartment has been more than sufficient as far as size for one person.

The personnel really got to know my mom and make sure she is aware and included always. She been doing new things, meeting new people and best of all, her outlook on life has improved dramatically from her lonely life at home after my father passed.

For the most part it has bees a great experience. The place is clean and most of the help is good. There seems that there has been a lot of turnover and a few "Agency Employees " were substandard. A few times they use the pull cord for help and have to wait 30-45 min for someone to show up. Not always but a few times. There have also been some issues with the food service. Out of many items, service can be slow and not always accurate, food cold.

My mom absolutely loves it there! She signs up for a lot of activities and is making friends. They even have gotten her to do physical therapy. I love knowing that if something happens that she is near a nurse to evaluate and call 911. She absolutely loved the xmas and winter decorations.

The staff is very friendly, they know every resident by name and genuinely seem to care. I live out of state and don't get there that often but I see the same staff each time so turnover is low. The facility always looks/smells clean and is bright and inviting. Many of the residents' regular visitors also know the other residents by name. It is very comfortable.

My mom is being very well and lovingly cared for. Lots of fun activities offered and the residents participate greatly. The food is the only real complaint. The breakfast is very good but mostly the lunch is the main meal and dinner is sandwiches. Not enough healthy choices or vegetables.

The room size is good, the staff is very attentive and helpful. I do wish the had a little better quality of foods for them but all in all it's not too bad, I do feel like they have way too many sandwiches. I also think that when there's activities for the residents that they need to let them know about them, I know my dad loses track of his days and the time and a lot of there activities are arts and crafts which my dad isn't really into maybe more activities for older gentleman that are there, but I do feel like I chose the right place the staff is very caring and they seem to enjoy engaging with them, they seem to be compassionate towards the elderly and take care of them and I do appreciate that, I would never want any of them to be physically abused and I feel like they are actually treated respectfully!

My dad is not very enthused about the food quality. Their response for minor maintenance needs is poor to absent. Quality of assisted living care givers and overall facility housekeeping is excellent. If they would fix some of these annoyances. I would give them a five. I would recommend. My dad is not much of a complainer so the food thing does concern me.
